It’s not real. thats the whole fuckin point, that the stuff movies show us (gorgeous women with mid men) is NOT REAL
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 12:07 PM

even if its lots of them its not all of them, tons of them act oblivious on purpose to come off as victims
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:57 AM

I don’t even think it’s autism or anything ...I think these guys know (and always knew) exactly what’s up, they just want someone to blame. And since they can’t or won’t blame themselves, suddenly it’s ‘society’s fault.’ Which is kinda dumb, ‘cause even if society turned around and said, ‘Yeah, okay, we lied,’ what difference would that make? Ugly dudes still wouldn’t be any more attractive or magically get more girls. Feels like they just wanna be right for the sake of being right ...doesn’t ch…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:49 AM

usually the female family members pass on this advice It’s like how unattractive girls get told by their relatives that they’re pretty...all those little white lies families tell just to protect your feelings. But come on, part of growing up is realizing you can’t believe everything your parents say. Like, I’ve never in my life heard someone go, ‘I know I’m attractive because my mom said so.' and actually belive it. We all know every mom says that to their kids. So why is it that people can see …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:41 AM

So you’ve never been to kindergarten or school and seen the girls giving some boys more attention than others...and you never made the connection as to why that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:35 AM

im not talking about his private life, im talking about the women he casts as his wives in movies i.e. salma hayek
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:29 AM

why you say someone told you stuff when nobody actually did? Is it because it was just your own wishful thinking, and instead of admitting that your assumption was wrong....as people often do when they grow up...you decided to blame some imaginary boogeyman instead of yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:21 AM

Well obviously no specific person sat me down and told me those things so nobody actually lied to you and told you that gotcha
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:17 AM

In many of the movies you reference, especially romantic comedies, they try to make the man be a lovable loser. bc these moves are made by men who look like woody allen and adam sandler edit: if you look up romantic movies directed by women like bridget jones or saltburn or idk clueless the male love interests were always good looking men...if anyone is making you think hot chicks end up with mid/ugly dudes its OTHER MEN who are not good looking
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:13 AM

Who told you that?

yeah thats about 6% of all families in the US so only 6% of the families in the US are familiies where there is only a father (not taken into consiideration the ones where the wife died) so obv a very small amount of men do an exceptioonally GREAT job, but these are VERY VERY VERY few men

Even if you don't feel neglected, there are a lot of other people who do feel that way The women were pushing their daughters to work and study was because it meant wealth. Yes and wealth means freedom, freedom from being told what to do by your husband, freedom to leave when you're treated badly etc...I have no idea what you're saying, but I and all the women I've spoken to have had the same experiences: mothers and grandmothers who tell their daughters to get an education so they're never depe…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 02:18 PM
4

No, it's true that women have raised their expectations of themselves because they want their children to have a better life than they did. The reason for all this helicopter parenting and all that is that it's a reaction to the neglect they experienced in their own childhoods. Furthermore, many young women were told by their mothers and grandmothers (those women who are often praised in red-pill circles because they did everything for their husbands) that they should go to school and get a good…

I never said you can’t have a good rewarding life with a kid with disabilities, all I’m saying is you don’t always get the same stuff out of something just ’cause you put effort into it...and that goes for all kinds of situations in life
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 09:15 AM
7

So you’re saying parents of kids with stuff like Lennox–Gastaut syndrome or Down syndrome just gotta “try harder” and boom ...the disability’s gone, and the kid won’t need lifelong care?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 09:12 AM
9

Men don't explain how being pregnant is Men have been telling women for centuries what the female experience is like...about literally everything, including pregnancy and childbirth...you have no idea what you’re talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 09:06 AM
4

Chill, all I said was you don’t always get back what you put in when you have a disabled kid. Like, if your kid’s got some mental disabilities, you can try teaching ’em reading and basic life skills forever and it still might not click… you read way too much into that one sentence.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 09:04 AM
2

You get what you put into it. unless you have a disabled child
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:54 AM

we dont need to womansplain anything, we all have/had dads and many women are married (or divorced from) to men who ARE dads, we see very clearly what being a dad means
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:49 AM
7

Okay, comparing walking out on kids you’ve already had, already poured your heart into, and that you should normally love more than your own life, to an abortion is straight-up insane. Just shows you’re outta arguments. I think this convo’s over ...but thank you, you really just proved how little guys actually think of/about kids
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:30 AM
9

Why is it relevant whether you're married or not when it comes to leaving your children? The parent who loves their child and feels responsible will stay in the child's life and do everything to make this possible, regardless of whether they were married or not. It says a lot about men that they can simply leave their children behind and move on. Most women can't/wouldn't do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:20 AM
3

bc the situation is similar in all richer european countries ...if you only want to debate people from the netherlands you're in the wrong sub buddy
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:17 AM
4

Yeah women shouldn't have kids with men they're not married too and if they do get married they shouldn't be filing for divorce 70% of the time. Funny how you don’t even consider that guys might actually like their kids and wanna spend time with them, no matter if they love the mom or not. Really shows how dudes treat fatherhood...like you don’t even think about the kid you’re leaving, just go straight to trash-talking the mom

boomers started families on 30m2...its not like boomers had their own houses in their early 20s, housing is def not the reason women have less children...the on major reason birthrates are going down is bc women dont have 5+ children anymore and mostly only 1-2 AND that women now thanks to birth control have control over when they want to get pregnant...i cant find the chart anymore but its very visible that birth rates started to sink dramatically as soon as the anti baby pill was available, co…

i have heard men being praised for being such a good dad simply bc they had a job and didnt beat the shit out of their wife and kid
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 08:00 AM
6

nope, its pretty obvious thats the case, thats why men get praised for doing the bare minimum like getting hyped for "babysitting their own child" and BS like that but its very normal that you're disagreeing, most men do, doesnt change reality tho also the fact that there are so many more children who grow up fatherless compared to growing up motherless says alot about fathers too
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 07:58 AM
8

2)being a horrible father is easy, being a good father is hard. not really, being a good father = being an average mom oh and most men wouldnt want to be pregnant, how do i know, even most women dislike pregnancy (yes even many of the ones who really really want and like children)

It's "Hey, do you mind if I look at your notes from yesterday? I missed class." NOT "Hey, I think you're really cute. Wanna go on a date with me?" It's "Do you by any chance happen to have the syllabus with you?" NOT "Hey, seatmate. Are you free to grab lunch at the dining hall after this?" Dude, all of this just sounds like a totally normal convo between two people, nothin’ in there saying she’s into you. To really show some subtle flirting, it’s gonna take more than that...like inviting you to…

I thought it might have something to do with how expectations for parents have risen over the last decade, but then I think of all the abuse, abandonment, and other awful things that happen in families...stuff parents do to their kids that I can’t even imagine doing to my dog. Many parents really do hate their kids and are cruel as fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 07:18 AM
18

not saying you're wrong but everytime i hear that from a man i have to giggle, i think most women would be way more eager to have sooner and more children if they could be a dad, the role of a father compared to a mother is so so different and easier than you can imagine...just ask women if theyd want to be a dad if they could choose, most would say yes...NO DAD would want to be a mom tho, that says all there needs to be said imo
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 07:16 AM

birth rates are dropping bc in former days women had not only 1-2 but 5+ children (bc they didnt have much choice, not bc they actually wanted to ) so even if all women now would have 1-2 children nowadays (which is more what women actually want than having 5+ children) birthrates would still drop that said, overall i agree with you
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 07:13 AM
1

yes, also why would men who treat women like doormats and personal chefs and cleaning ladies pick such women for dates in the first place, obv men like that go for women who already believe that about themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 07:11 AM

Men should absolutely adopt this mindset. the problem is its often time not true, for women no relationship truly is better than a shitty one but thats not true for men...for men a shitty relationship with an average woman is often times still way better than no relationship at all

Calling on men to "decenter" women doesn't work, because this isn't just a case of taking a few months off from dating while you focus on another priority. It means be content with living like a eunuch. I find it cute that men here still insist that they need women primarily for sex and that is why they cannot decentralize women even though there are enough whores and strippers...what men really want and need is female company, but they cannot admit that, it is easier for them to reduce women to…

I will always recommend men to be with a women who loves you and puts mutual efforts. Fucking an attractive woman will just fulfill your ego but she will rarely put efforts. The feeling of being loved by a woman is amazing and that's what we should thrive for. If a girl doesn't respects you leave her asap. You should be each other's first priority. the men who struggle with finding a woman who loves them and puts in equal effort are almost NEVER the same men who can just bang hot chicks and move…

A good choice would probably be a woman with a BPD parent where the parent is self-reflective, was loving enough to have offered a reasonably good parent-child bond with their child, and who still have a good relationship with each other today. A woman with an idealized idea of her father (daddy's girl who got everything from her father) and a mother who has not had to take on any responsibility herself would be counterproductive for you. If you want to know what people value in personality, it is advisable to look at their parents (applies to men and women)... From what I have noticed, most people either want someone who is like their own parents or the opposite of their own parents, depending on what their own experience with their parents was. A woman with a father who did all the manual work in the house will, if she had a good relationship with her father, probably look for a man who is like that too. But if her father was a…

Men project their own feelings, fears and worries onto women, which is why they mainly talk about looks. The main focus of men when choosing a partner is the woman's appearance, so they believe women operate in the same way. It's like that with many things, by the way. For example, that's why men always believe that all attractive women are sluts, because they can't imagine that you can attract a lot of sexual attention but still say no. Or why many men try to shame women into relationshops and …

Historically, fathers have always had little influence on the upbringing of their children. Coupled with the fast pace of life today and the problem older people have in identifying with young people, your wish that fathers should raise their sons to be men seems rather utopian. Who was supposed to teach them? We know that mothers are more likely to cherish their sons than teach them how to be men, and the fathers of today's young men are not familiar with this situation themselves. I don't think they want to force women directly (except maybe a few crazy incels) but I somehow understand that it must be a crazy experience for young men. In a few generations this phenomenon will be normal and accepted, but men nowadays are simply not equipped for the world we are heading towards. That's why they are so angry, they were indirectly told that as a man you only have to "provide" in order to get a wife and family. But that is simply no longer true.

Women are often less bothered by being single, and they always have the opportunity to go on a date thanks to dating apps and social media. If something is always available and you can keep yourself busy in your free time with activities and friends (we're all "over-entertained" and "over-connected"), there's little reason to go on a date with someone who doesn't 100% match your expectations.

it's always entertaining how men somehow never worry that something bad could happen to their gf/wife when she goes out at night, it's always "she could cheat on you"...it's never "she could get robbed and beaten up" really makes ya think

The difference between men and women here. Anytime I see a woman I'm intensely attracted to (and she's available in a social setting), I have to stop myself from talking to her. I think most men would agree. i never felt intense attraction to anyone just because they look good. I only ever felt intense attraction torwards men i already knew...all i "proved" was that i probably wouldnt date or invite people simply bc of how they look

But so, there’s no way for a guy to have a full blown conversation with you in certain scenarios. So what would you say you require for a guy to get your number in a quick setting like that? Is it like, maybe you see the way he dresses, his hygiene etc. And maybe just a quick short convo like maybe he asks you about your hobbies real fast before asking for your number? I just don’t see how you can get to know somebody without actually going out or doing something and having time to talk ya know?…

how often women see a guy they think is attractive but it goes nowhere because you all don’t usually say anything and most of us men are starting to not want to or like to cold approach. Happens all the time. In the past, when I was single, I found many men attractive for various reasons. In general, I don't find it difficult to find people attractive. I dont understand the pickiness of some ppl nowadays because to me they all look decent and kind of alike. But so yea, how often have y’all seen …

tbf nobody ever said show "emotional weakness"...its always "you need to be more in touch with your emotions" or smth...often times guys think that means traumadumping and ugly crying when its just cuddling with a puppy and calling it a baby or shedding a manly tear when watching some war movie. everytime i read about a guy getting dumped for "being emotional" he cried and sobbed ...being emotional doesnt mean crying like a baby

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
