Actually, her criminal behavior was excessive. Prosecutors dismissed 11 felony counts which included 3 first-degree felony rape charges (life sentences!). And while you're inclined to relax because of the statutory aspect, I'll remind you that the three counts she pled gulity to were forcible sex abuse which are second degree felonies with sentences of 1-15 years each.
