Americans are an odd bunch. They don't even have a word for "the day after tomorrow"

IDK, I think it sounds like a grander "twice" that roles out of your mouth (it definitely has "m'lady" connotations though)

The titular head "manager" probably spends most of their time fine dining and sipping champaigne whilst lobbying polititians and "networking"

This story is from Suffolk, in the historically little travelled backwater of "the heel" of the foot shape that is the biggest British island. They are most famous for all having the same surname over there.

A life sentence means a different thing in the UK. It means you will be monitored for life, much like what "probation for life" would be in the USA. When a judge gives a life sentence they also give a recommended minimum time served in prison, maybe 15 years, or 20 years. A "natural life" sentence is extremely rare. You could count the number of people currently in prison with a recomended "for the rest of their natural life" on one hand.

I used to have a very atractive female friend who only dated short guys. She was around 5'8, and her tallest boyfriend was a few inches less than her

That "crack" sound when the guys head hits the tarmac.. Possibly a literal crack.

That was my first thought. Being good at a fighting sport might not mean much when you freeze when faced with a crazed fit and strong man mountain trying to murder you.

I thought most money heists were digital the last 30 years. The late 90's was the hayday, with banks not even admitting to, or reporting robberies through fear of consumer lack of confidence.

They're not a feminist site though. They all about strategies for snagging a "high value" man they can exploit

Most women don't identify as feminists, and of the ones that do, their principles usually slip a bit when it comes to their dating/romantic lives.

There is also the issue of increased health risks for older mothers and their babies. There is a reason why only fetuses of women in their 30's and 40's are routinely tested for Down Syndrome (in my country at least)

Those results are from men who already thought they may not be the father. A more interesting study was from parents and kids screaning for hereditary deseases (and had nothing to do with suspected paternity). IIRC it was something like 10 - 20%

The concept of women being "left on the shelf" goes back a very long time, as in "you'd better find a man soon, or you'll end up left on the shelf"

80% good after 10 years? sounds like he's doing OK to me. Foreign brides playing the long con don't hang around anywhere near that long.

Are you sure she was breastfeeding? Doctors and Midwives used to really push powdered milk last century.

My wife's periods did not start again until she stopped breastfeeding for both kids.

She describes herself as a "strong woman" who basically has it all (except a man), and thinks she's all round fucking amazing and her shit doesn't stink. Non of her friends even "know she is lonely", probably because she very publicly and loudly lives by that saying on her woman/man fish/bicycle poster in her downstairs toilet, and her only interests seem to be work and her kid. That isn't a character that men are going to flock to

There's the reason why they are so fucking obsessed with race.

Wow. What a great analogy. No its not. "Guy blows off his friend for some girl who will only date him for the big ticket gig"? Fuck that shit and that guy. What's wrong with starting off dating with something honest and free/cheap (where she actually wants to spend time with guy)

It matters enough for you to think of, then mention it? (or an I missing some unmentioned /s?)

WTF! Why would you spread disinformation like that? It's full of protein and good for your skin!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
