| 4 | Accidently damage an item while moving for a friend .Yes you helped him move but that has nothing to do with what you accidentally did. You didn’t intend to break his TV, it was an accident. You volunteered your time to help him expecting nothing in return (perhaps a favour at a later time in return would be fair), but you accidentally dropped his TV. If you want to split it with him, maybe come to that agreement? I recently helped a buddy move and I let him store a bunch of stuff at my place.
