My boss and I have good communication. We talk fairly regularly and have weekly check-ins on progress. He's definitely noticed a drop off in production. My last year end review, he mentioned that it seemed like I was giving 70% of my full potential, which was true. But he said it's fine, as long as I know that I will be compensated accordingly. Even though the 70% is fine, I don't like doing things where I'm not at a 100%. Since I started working here, I've been going 100%, but experiencing the …

You probably wouldn't fire me. I've become lazy, but not stupid. I do the bare minimum needed to get by. I just don't go above and beyond as is common in my industry. I play the game well. You most likely wouldn't notice my disengagement and drop off in value. But you're right, I've grown to see everything I do now as: how much power/status & women will this get me?

I am shit at it because of lack of effort, not because of skills. I find becoming a "master programmer" less of an attractive goal now. I'd rather develop other skills like high-level problem solving, negotiations, social interactions, decision-making. The more I think of this, the more I think management is the better route for me.

By suck I mean I've become stagnant, which to me is the equivalent of sucking haha. But yeah, I definitely need a change. Looking into management now. My age (just turned 25) is a bit young for most roles, but I feel I am more than capable. I'll start talking to recruiters and see how things pan out.

Any idea what to transition to? My current job has created a very comfortable lifestyle for me, so it's challenging to transition out. I have technical knowledge, but I want to do something more social. Trying to figure out how/where to strike the balance.

Yeah that confuses me too lol. I think it was a tension from developing feelings for her, while not getting my physical needs met due to the distance.

I live in a big city and she was about an hour/hour and a half away. She has a lot going on in her life so I'd see her on average twice every three weeks or so. She really helped me come out of my shell and opened me up as a person. I also was pretty good to her. But we're both too young (24) for it to be anything serious even though we've been talking for about 8 months now. I tried to end it before because the lack of seeing her was getting to me. But I couldn't get myself too because I really…

I can relate as well. Raised in a religious household, with a "strong mother with values". I do well with women, but don't get nearly as much pussy as people expect I would. Something about respecting them is what hangs me up. I just can't get myself to pump and dump. I'm seeing a girl now, who's been hurt a couple times in the past. Complete subservient, whores herself out for me, and doesn't let me respect her, while respecting the shit out of me. It's an interesting situation for me to be in …

I think I struggle with authenticity. There are still some parts of me that I haven't fully accepted (like my struggle with depression). So I try to keep these parts of myself hidden. I end up doing well with women, but I feel like I'm not being true to some other parts of myself in the process, and keeping the charade going is stressful. So even despite the success, I never feel "secure". I think it's better to be authentic in the Red Pill endeavour, than to feel like you have to hide parts of …

I like this. Sure, getting girls is fun. But I feel like I'm not being true to some of my own values in the process. I'd rather be secure in who I am and embrace myself first, than trying to be some caricaturized version of myself that's super attractive, but not a true reflection of me. Sure, we all want the 10s, but I know the true version of me probably won't. I'd rather be my quirky, unusual self and settle for the 7s.

Why is there no upside to getting married? If you can find a nice, domestic wife who rewards you with cooked food, sex, gifts and treats, etc and companionship, what's wrong with shacking down?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
