I just realised I was sexually assaulted by my current girlfriend 2 years agoI didn't catch anything about consent being given in that story. I'm pretty sure "well s/he did say no, but I went ahead and did it anyway" wouldn't exactly be an iron-clad defense to a sexual assault charge. | /r/MensRights | 20/05/14 12:02 PM
Just so it's a guy it's fine...How can they be, when there is apparently no such thing? Rape... boy... does not compute... | /r/MensRights | 08/05/14 02:03 PM
Domestic violence 'expert' says that MRAs and pro-father campaigners espouse ideas which justify and exacerbate abusive behaviour...Those comments though... "psychically damaged by men's right's rhetoric" and a plug for David Futrelle, courtesy of a person going by the handle LadySocialist. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/14 11:36 AM
I just realised I was sexually assaulted by my current girlfriend 2 years agoLast time I checked, sexual (or any other kind) of assault laws don't require the victim to know they are being assaulted as per the legal definition for the laws to apply. If it is true that "She used to tell me to let her do things to me and I really didn't want to. I would say no but she would go ahead and do it anyway..." and if it is also true that "things" fall into the definition of sexual acts, then OP has been sexually assaulted. Feel free to disregard the last paragraph if you meant to… | /r/MensRights | 07/05/14 11:26 PM
I just realised I was sexually assaulted by my current girlfriend 2 years agoTake a chill pill dude, OP never said rape - just sexual assault. Just one poster before you mentioned the word, and then it appears like 5 times in your comment. No hysteria here, move along. | /r/MensRights | 07/05/14 11:13 PM
