I came here to leave an olive branch for the original replier, but see it’s gone now. On a side note, OP, being willing to question your own thinking and put yourself out there for feedback makes me think you are on the right path for being a good man. Being told you’re sweet and nice is a lovely compliment, and if your goal is to have a family, I can think of few qualities more important. leaves olive branch anyway

I totally agree that this is what TRP teaches people to read into, but I don’t agree that her words and actions didn’t match. All OP told us is that the other guy said “Your picture looks like a fake face”, because he has a stylized profile pic. He also said that this was a passing comment. If that had been me, I would have said “thank you so much, I do have a great face” and moved on. Expecting her to shut down her livestream because some other person made a comment about the profile picture of…

Oh, OP. This is what TRP does. It tries to get you to read sooooo far into these minuscule interactions with women that it feels like they’re all out to get you. I saw a comment in Redpill once that said “Don’t go for women who say they want someone with a kind heart because that just means they want your money.” Like, what?!? This is the same. She said you’re sweet and nice. And now you’re jumping to “I know all women aren’t like her and think a good man is corny”…. OP, you don’t know that she …

I’m so confused by this! What did this girl do that was cruel or abusive? She said he was sweet and nice. He also said the other girls at high school thought he was sweet and nice.

Love this question! Some of my favorites: “Why Marriages Succeed or Fail” by John Gottman. Though this sounds tailored to married couples, it actually has helpful information for relationships and healthy interactions in general. Gottman is a psychologist who did a famous study where he was able to predict within, like, 90% accuracy whether a couple would stay married or not, simply by observing how they interacted with one another in a set period of time. He calls the behaviors that negatively …

I would encourage you to challenge your thinking on this entire post. You are holding women responsible for the actions and behavior of a select group of men. I’ll probably catch some heat for this, but I think it’s fine to want traditional values for your own, personal relationship. It’s what made me susceptible to Redpill to begin with. However, your reasoning behind why you want someone who has limited their sexual interactions is incredibly distorted, unfair and misogynistic. You should take…

I came here to give this little piece of advice as well. If you’re going to open with a compliment, it should be something more personal or unique than “you’re cute”, etc. If you are approaching her, there’s probably a reason she stands out to you or something about her that makes you want to know more. It feels much more genuine to open with this rather than something impersonal. It also opens the door to a more natural conversation and interaction. The best compliment I ever received was about…

I’m curious what games you tried playing that got you blocked? Was it only that you went a day without responding to her? Blocking someone over not hearing from them for a day seems like a really strong reaction. My guess is that you were displaying some other behavior that already had her on high alert. One of the disservices that redpill does to men is teaching them that they need to trick or game women into liking them. Just like men don’t want to be manipulated by women, we don’t want to fee…

I agree with the other women on this thread who have pointed out the way our society, in many ways, emasculates men. It can be difficult trying to navigate the aftermath of that. I wonder if it may be helpful to take a more proactive approach that allows him to lead without worrying you’re trying to “trick” or “test” him. Using the hair color as an example, instead of saying “if you think I’d be cuter as a redhead, let me know”, maybe try asking an open ended question and being flirty about it. …
