Because students at ucla are either international or they have big juicy school loans that can be exploited as guaranteed income. Who cares if you violate the fire code by having more occupants than a building can safely house? wow that's a lot of words just say because of toxic capitalism nobody forces you to live in a specific part of the country, let alone go to school in a specific part of it either

I agree OP and landlords a like are dicks for renting their places at standard market rates and not running a charity for students. #fuckcapitalism #communism #mao2020

At this point, I'm convinced you're either trolling or financially illiterate. One is known fixed loss, one is variable with significant down side and marginal upside.

Do a quick search and read about California rent laws and you'll see why it's not a trivial issue of finding someone to rent OP's place. There's risk to financially factor in. If he can't find a suitable tenant, then he's paying what he would be paying for the vacant unit plus the 12k or whatever for their son's residence.

Technically the son does have tenants rights. that's why he's being formally evicted unlike the gf and friend

Just to point out so it's clear, this question of yours is irrelevant to what men in general want. Sometimes what people want isn't what's best for them. As for your question, the smart-ass answer is it's better not to marry what so ever because a relationship should be between you and your spouse; Not you, your spouse and the government. Answering it more the way you want, it really depends on what the 10 means to you. If it's just looks, as you said, looks decay so it doesn't matter in the gra…
/r/MGTOW29/10/19 10:44 PM

"Choosing whichever woman to marry" is a very different statement from "men marry who they want." Most men would marry a 10 if they could, but they don't. They marry a 4, 5, 6, sometimes worse. They chose settle for a 4, 5, 6 but they want a 10. Obviously though, these men are unaware of MGTOW and what a trap marriage is. No idea what any of the start of your post has to do with anything but your assumptions couldn't be further from the truth.

probably didn't even really tell the waitress about the allergy just asked for it without the scallops so you didn't read the picture did you? cause it clearly says she mentioned the allergy and that it was the waitress who only mentioned to the kitchen staff "without scallops"
/r/MGTOW24/09/19 07:23 PM

Getting someone fired because they didn't know the ingredients for every single item on the menu is an asshole move. I'm guessing you've never seen the "alert your waitress/waiter about any allergies" on a menu. It's not the their job to know what's in the food and then say "you're ordering something that can trigger your allergy" but to alert the kitchen staff of it since they know what's in the food. This is something she failed to do which anyone who's worked in one of these roles would know …

It's not the waitress or waiters fault to make sure there isn't any fish in a fucking seafood dish. No it's certainly not, but it is her job to alert kitchen staff of allergies which she failed to do.

Like I stated here If the poster is male I just assume he's TA at least in the context of what this sub seems to rule the majority of the time. I've done the data analysis and if it's a guy asking according to that sub he's probably TA. I'm willing to bet if we flip this to a mom posting, and the waiter being a man we would see completely different comments :)

This is highly dependent on which province you live in. Common law doesn't exist in Quebec in any sense. In Ontario, you're only entitled to half of joint possessions, not finances unlike in marriage. Alimony, yes. Assuming your common law partner hasn't paid into the house, they have no claim on it so if you want them paying for household expenses it's best to create a rental agreement so they're treated as a tenant, not as someone you're joining household finances with. I can't really say much…

It's hard for men to understand this concept because of projection. No man would want a woman to treat them like they're an after thought.

Her ability to convey an argument is abysmal but she has a point. If she's doing the majority/all of cooking and cleaning it would make sense that she only pay half, or less. In wealth disparity situations, there's generally three ways to resolve this. Either the lower income person chooses the price ceiling and both pay half (equal), or the higher income person subsidizes. Generally, the higher income person might choose to subsidize because they prefer living in higher end housing. The third, …

He's not wrong... Do you think women would have voting rights and such if not for the simps that enabled them? It is mens fault. When I emergency, I'm talking "the purge" levels of shit hitting the fan. Generally, anyone speaking finance isn't calling an "emergency fund" an equivalent to "post apocalyptic fund." It's more like, "I got laid off and can't find work and need money", "I had a medical emergency/unforeseen large cost", etc. An investment is when money is allocated in an asset to collect interest, dividend and other forms of return. For clarification, I wasn't calling either investments. They're both speculative…
/r/MGTOW03/06/19 01:18 AM

Given that you have clients, I find it kind of funny you call crypto speculation but then advocate for keeping an emergency fund in precious metals as if that isn't speculative either. Within the last decade we saw a near 50% loss in precious metals such as gold/silver. An emergency fund shouldn't be parked via speculative means.

What seems to happen is that the few men left who still want to get laid or get girlfriends now compete against insane odds I have made the case before in conversations with my peers that even in an country like China with a huge gender imbalance as a man, you have a more likely chance of finding a suitable partner than in the west. Why? Artificial scarcity. Even if in the west there are an even amount of women and men, the amount of obese women drastically reduces the pool of "ideal candidates"…

My favorite comment is this It’s also just shitty not to notify someone you’re poly or exploring other options. I guarantee if he had said he was dating two on the side she would’ve thought he was a douche. is poly the new watered down word for monkey branching slore

Theyre not. They know exactly what theyre doing which is most people only read the title and first few sentences of an article. Usually buried in the middle or near end is the gotcha so they have plausible debiability about the agenda they push

The problem with this kind of experiment is it's a known hypothetical. To give you an example of what I mean, there's plenty of women who if you asked "would you be down to fuck right now for $1000" might say no without a second of thought because obviously that would make them a gold digging slut/prostitute. But then open your wallet and pull out $1000 and it changes to "oh, you're serious?" and actual consideration starts to happen.

find a girl that's cool with living apart I wouldn't hold your breath, most become very transparent once you express your intent to never get married and/or join assets. Common law is pretty shit, but consult a lawyer on common law agreements and a separation agreement if you ever think you're going to be putting yourself at risk of being in CL.

If you only apply it to the numerator, then you're not going to get a number for the result, you would have an expression left with xs. If you solve the entire thing you get a negative non-integer, so how you get a pin code from that hell if I know.

In Canada sex work is legal... sort of. It's illegal for you, (the man) to pay for it and 100% legal for the woman, to sell it. So, if it's "legalized" expect it to be similar to this.

You might have to work part time, but what's a couple days a week? Sure, that might be the case, but now you're changing the meaning of what it means to be retired. If working is still mandated in your life style, are you really retired?

What kind of absurd lifestyle are you living that you would need $10M to retire at 30? Or do you have no idea what you're talking about and are just assuming the $10M would be left in cash ...? lol. Most people make no where near this amount in their entire lifetime.

I personally think more young adults need to become more acquainted with finances and economics, it's unfortunate that our highschool education systems don't teach them anything useful regarding that. I've noticed many young adults have no idea how a TFSA or RRSP works (Roth IRA, 401k for US readers). Many let themselves become overly intimidated by the idea of investing in the stock market and end up deferring to banks to do it for them (ignorant to the massive conflict of interest the bank has…

Many claim they "own" a house while still having open mortgages on said house(s), however the person they're talking to doesn't think of it like that (thinking about liabilities such as mortgages). Many also have bias in valuation when they hear someone owns a house. We don't know what property costs where OP has bought them but in your head you might have a very large price associated with a house depending on where you live. Same logic can be applied to "owning" cars. What's funny is when peop…

And why the fuck did he marry a landwhale when engineers can do far better regardless? Most men are unaware of their spike in SMV later in life, he probably thinks that's around his ballpark because he's gotten no attention in his highschool years. It's quite sad actually. DO you know what they do to keep a circus elephant from running away? They tie a metal chain onto a collar around the mighty elephant’s leg – and tie it to a small wooden peg that’s hammered into the ground. The 10-foot tall, …

The report noted the e-commerce giant came under fire in 2015 for posting a job ad on its site for a “computer programmer’s motivator” seeking women applicants with physical characteristics like Japanese adult film star Sola Aoi. Alibaba removed the reference to Sola Aoi after media reported on it, but kept the ad on the site. As recently as January this year, Alibaba still mentioned “men preferred” in job listings for “restaurant operations support specialist” positions. Time to double down on …
