man who improved a lot by losing 30 pounds, becoming lean and muscular, always keep my facial hair clean shaven, fitting cloth This. I feel men don't have the right to complain until and unless they've reached this state. For women, there is a switch that goes off. It's binary. It's yes or no. Once you reach that stage where you're lean enough to show off your cheekbones, your jaw and chin AND you're also fit/tone AND you're dressed/stylish.... you will have absolutely no trouble attracting wome…

when women talk about shitty men, the ultimate goal is to avoid them at all costs The school bully and other bad boys have always done extremely well with women. You sure about the "avoid them at all costs" part?

Women don't lie about being attracted to good-looking men The lie is that everything they say, every rule they insist is important (don't be too sexual too soon, never approach us at the gym, don't have shirtless pics on your profile, must ask for permission before a kiss, etc) is completely dismissed if the guy is hot enough. Honesty would be refreshing for once.

it is aggressive thuggish black and hispanic men This is the big elephant in the room that feminists are too afraid to mention publically

everybody lies What's fascinating is how women lie to themselves. On Reddit, it's "what would the perfect answer sound like?" answers to make themselves appear in the best possible light. It's fascinating how there is such a huge gap between what they say with their words and what they say with their actions.

If she’s smiling at you (choosing signal) then yes go approach. Women only do this to that tiny, tiny % of men at the very top. Yes, they will give average guys a chance to win them over with their personality, but they will never initiate with a "choosing signal" towards them.

This point should be it's own post. The only thing this "never engage with us in public" manta that feminists have been demanding is that the vast majority of normal, decent men will stay away as instructed meanwhile the shitheads continue doing what they do as always. It cracks me up how you'll occasional read a "why won't men that I'm genuinely interested in ever approach me?" post - women are absolutely clueless, now and forever, that these men are doing exactly what women have trained them t…

if she finds you attractive enough, then you can say just about ANYTHING That's a big, BIG "IF" I was watching The Hangover recently. If the Brad Cooper character said this, you're absolutely correct. If the Zach Galifianakis or Ed Helms character did this, it's a "violation".

Men just do it to a far lesser extent than women do. A super successful man would happily date a woman who is "only" a school teacher where the reverse would rarely exist.

I assumed they were too good for me; they were out of my league in terms of appearance, job, etc. and so it wasn’t worth my time to approach them Most women do the exact opposite with OLD.

What would they teach you at a female dating bootcamp? They primarily teach women to put themselves out there, teach body language to signal interest and.... the part women hate... have realistic standards.

LMFAO because those men are going for the small percentage of women Cracks me up when women write this. The bar for what's considered attractive to the opposite gender is significantly easier for women and it's not even close. Men are attracted to a much, much wider range. Again, it's not even close.

Notice I said REAL WORLD and not a dating app Thank you for at least acknowledging that things are completely different with OLD where a lot of these complaints about unrealistic standards and hypergamy are 100% valid. OLD is now the number one way people meet so to simply hand wave this away isn't exactly intellectually honest.

It's not women that have higher standards, it's y'all that are below average with a high sense of entitlement. Interesting. You're both saying the exact same thing about the other gender. Exactly.

I was a fan of Tom Leykis and yes, you are correct that he was way, way ahead of TRP as a philosophy. However, having stated that, what actual advice would he give men that really worked? His whole schtick was to never spend any money on a woman and to treat her in a pump and dump, Bad Boy style. Made for fun radio when he would spar with women callers but nothing he said can be carried over to the real world.

Once men get passed the first stage where she does in fact show interest in him too, then at this point, yes... the women is the one who has to convince the guy in most cases to commit to a monogamous LTR

This lady at my office said she hit on me a few years back but I never got the hint. She's referring to when she walked into my office, sat down and explained that she's going on vacation next week and that if anyone needs to reach her here is my cell phone number. From that, I was suppose to start texting her or something. Even if I was interested, I wouldn't dare do that with a coworker. She said it obvious, "Why else would I give you my phone number like that?". I never acted on it.

I am not attractive and I know I am not attractive. I don't even know you but I do know that if 1) if you were jacked fitness wise in terms of your muscle and body fat % and 2) had a sense of purpose to be stylish with your clothes, skin, hair and make-up... that alone would put you in the top half of attraction regardless of your face. Promise.

I don't believe for one minute that unattractive women get mocked in public for being fat or ugly. This. Outside of grade school, it doesn't happen in any public manner from men.

I have never been hit on, ever, Why do you think women of Reddit, especially on places like TwoX, exaggerate this point so much?

But when women have less sex and men have more, the eame reasoning is given by the women here. Men struggle at dating... it's men's fault. Women struggle at dating... it's men's fault again.

Look at the stats on who gets swiped on in Tinder and with OLD overall, look at the cover of every Romance novel, every male fashion model, every male featured on subs like r/ladyboners, every male lead in movies like "50 Shades" - they all look essentially the same. I'm talking about raw, initial attraction. Women are extremely picky but, admittedly, become much more accepting over time if the guy has the right personality.

The bar for what's considered attractive to the opposite gender is significantly lower for women. Men are attracted to women of all shapes and sizes where women are only attracted to a very narrow definition that fits into that male stripper/model type. Women are much more shallow in terms of raw attraction and it's not even close. However, the reason women deny this is because they have a second layer of attraction where the guy can become more attractive to her over time with his personality, …

These Reddit women seem to live in a reality where they are constantly harassed wherever they go. You would think they live in a zombie apocalypse. They can't even buy groceries without 10-15 guys harassing them. So many exaggerations.

Women on Reddit tend to be extremely grumpy, hypersensitive to criticism both real and imagined, largely asexual or "prudish" This! Reddit women are so repressed sexually, it's fascinating. Completely different in the real world.

So many posts from women who would immediately be labelled low value / ghost him if it were the description of a man There was yet another "men are low value if they don't pay for everything" thread and the OP's post history showed her to be 44 years-old, a waitress, a sex worker, and a recovering heroin addict. Imagine the reaction if a man had a similar background?

The core philosophy of FDS is: man puts in 100% and woman gives back 0% Let's say you're online dating, first you would have to find her pictures and profile attractive - highly unlikely with FDSers. Then you would have to start a conversion, which would be entirely one sided and likely very dysfunctional. Assuming you wanted to escalate (highly unlikely), then you alone would have to plan and pay for an elaborate first date. At the date, you would be expected to carry the conversation and escal…

Yeah, we're all volunteering fake information to stress you out No, not "fake" but definitely exaggerated. Something that happened once in 9th grade that really was just classic bullying becomes a huge post about "women can't even leave the house without receiving some type of sexual assault" hyperbole

en masse? I think you can make a compelling argument that they are significantly exaggerated the amount of harassments they receive. Granted, I'm middle class suburban guy however I never even once personally observed it myself. And, between my sisters and my S.O and female friends, I've never even once heard of it happening to them. Yes, course, it still happens, but from the responses from women of Reddit, you would think they live in a zombie apocalypse with the amount of terror they go throu…

Women don't only "chase chad" and all that other shit. Maybe not so much in the real world, but with regard OLD, this is absolutely true. The next part is where, very disappointedly, they reluctantly settle for a more realistic looksmatch.

Men have a much wider range of what's considered sexually attractive and it's not even close. Then you throw in the overwhelming advantages women have with OLD to be even more selective with men outside their league and it really makes your post look silly. The bar for what's considered sexually attractive to women is much, much higher.

Yep "Single women were more interested in poaching an attached man rather than pursuing a single man. Interestingly, this indicates that single women are more interested in pursuing a man that is less available to them." and "According to a recent poll, most women who engage in mate poaching do not think the attached status of the target played a role in their poaching decision (Knadler, 2008), but our study shows this belief to be false. Single women in this study were significantly more intere…

Women here will be no help because they would have to admit they are merely human animals rather than angelic higher beings. Even on an anonymous message board like Reddit, they are compelled to give the fake, posturing, "what would perfect say?" virtue signaling answer. It's fascinating.

ITT: women lying, even to themselves perhaps. So much ridiculous posturing to deny an indisputable reality.
