the economy sucks (and has sucked save for the 1% for quite a long time now) they probably will never be able to purchase a house (unless they work multiple jobs and neglect sleep and their own personal health) the degree they have is useless through no fault of their own that same degree has left them with mountains of debt, despite society telling them it is the right thing to do they can’t provide for a wife and kids on their current salary through no fault of their own they can’t imagine set…

She’s also the one that says to “never give ugly guys a chance”, too. So not sure how anyone but her handlers takes her seriously.

The narrative that ‘The Marvels’ bombing is due to men is just so laughably bad on this one. 65% of the audience for this movie was male. 45% of those were men over 25. 22% of the entire audience was females over 25. (Source: Deadline) Men have actually supported this film significantly more than women. It’s more than DOUBLED when you look at anyone over 25. The movie was a sequel no one asked for. It has one highly unlikeable lead (Larson), with no real internal struggle or character developmen…

You forgot the message that opens from them is “.” Or some variation of “hi/hey”, which is the exact sort of thing they’d scream “low effort!” about if the roles were reversed.

These aren’t gender specific, and most are attached to online dating, but a lot of them definitely could apply: ‘Good vibes only’: I lack the maturity to deal with the full spectrum of human emotion and would really rather you didn’t call me out on my bullshit. ‘’Just ask’: from the outset, I will be requiring you to make all the effort in this relationship. ‘Love to laugh’: I’m that person who writes ‘lol’ after every sentence in the hopes it makes the basic shit I’m saying appear witty, lol. ‘…

I’m sure her making less than $200K is just like a bald dude on his profile saying he chooses to shave his head, or a 5’7” guy saying he’s 6’3” full of heart.

Don’t forget she makes “less than $200,000” a year, too.

Yikes. The cognitive dissonance is strong with this one.

1) a man should never split anything with you 50/50, especially a bill. Followed by: 2)”… a man should be willing to meet you halfway” (in regards to commitment) Big oof. The cognitive dissonance on that one. Equal rights, equal opportunities, equal responsibilities. Full stop.

She seems like the type of girl when presented with a bald dude or a short dude, she suddenly has a preference, but it’s okay, because short dudes and bald dudes can totally change their height and hair loss. 🙄

I always put “equal rights, equal opportunities, equal responsibilities. Full stop.” In my profiles. It definitely helps separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak. You always get the odd argumentative person, who then tries to flip it into an “equality vs. equity” argument … but then tend to be real quiet when you point out they only want equity in white collar jobs. (Nothing about equity for miners, sanitation workers, etc).

I would imagine if a bald guy, short guy or combination of both would ask her out, she’d likely reject them for superficial reasons as well. I’m sure some man would find her beautiful, but of course she’s shaming people for having ‘personal preferences’... of which she has some of her own. Baffling.

My ex informed me of this! (She had a 6 year old when I met her) there is a medical term for it, but the doctor referred to it as ‘ the husband stitch’.

Oh man, this hits close to home. Some reasons I was dumped on my birthday: doing kind, selfless things for her and her son made her ‘lose respect for me’ the ex I was told ‘I never needed to worry about’ who hung around in the background of the relationship, turns out was EXACTLY the guy I needed to worry about (not even the birth father!) her overarching guilt about the sacrifices I made that she could ‘never give back’ .(I wasn’t asking her to, everything I did was because I wanted to. Not bec…

Ontario elected their Trump (Doug Ford) to run the province. (Albeit more accurately rural Ontario and northern Ontario did)

The ladies I know refer to it as the ‘6 rule’. As in at least 6 feet tall, six pack abs, (at least) 6 inches in the pants and a six figure salary.
