In the past 7 weeks, I've [19] moved into an apartment and am also working full-time (40 hours a week). Since I moved into an apartment, despite being prescribed Fluoxetine (Prozac) by my PCP, my libido has increased. Due to living with 5 other roommates, I do not have any privacy. Is it normal to have a high libido at my age? And if so, how do I deal with it?

This past week was good. Last week, I had a hair styling appointment scheduled. (I got curtain bangs and layers.) This last weekend, I also went out to dinner with my family, did yard work, and went grocery shopping. I have been slowly exposing myself to the outside world and it feels good thus far! I have retaken up my photography hobby and have also been researching topics regarding mental health, trauma, etc.

This past week was good. Yesterday, I had a dermatologist appointment scheduled. My dermatologist examined my skin and said it looked good! I plan to schedule an appointment for laser therapy for my rosacea. However, I have received multiple “friend” requests from men 40+ who I don’t know. Thank you so much for the advice! I [19] have never dated however, I have had “situationships” with boys in the past. In addition to this, I was sexually assaulted two years ago by a male youth “leader” and was also ghosted by another boy. Both incidents left me deeply traumatized. Thank you again for the advice.

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, as a student, I [19] am unable to currently afford trauma therapy. Last semester, I did enroll and receive free therapy from my university. However, my university is overbooked with students who are also pursuing therapy that they require all on-campus therapists to limit each student’s bi-weekly sessions to one semester per year.

It is angering to see women, such as Emily Morse, market themselves as medical professionals and/or sex therapists. However, it is also saddening to see women, such as a Emily Morse, who have experienced trauma and, in order to cope with said trauma, respond to said trauma by gaslighting women similar to that of how they’ve gaslighted themselves.

Valentine’s Day was good. My father planned ahead for the Winter Storm in our state and bought both my mother and I bouquets. I scheduled a Self-Care Day and watched Unfaithful (2002) with Diane Lane and Richard Gere. (I have a woman-crush on Diane Lane.)
