5’3” here. My dating life can be divided in two: until I was about 30, I had a tough time with women. I was deeply insecure, shy and pitied myself for being short. Once I worked on myself (a long process of several years), my outlook on life changed and success with women followed. I’ve been married and on long-lasting relationships with women who I consider “out of my league” ever since. I consider myself average looking, not jacked, average build, but I do exercise regularly and take care of m…

Exactly. It’s not even about pulling girls (more like a side-effect). It’s about having a positive outlook on life and connecting with people. That changes everything

I’m sorry or good for you, buddy. Learn to summarize

You have to understand the mentality, which you must if you’re living there: men are expected to provide something, and it’s not just about being a foreigner, locals too.

Many women won’t have sex more than 2 or 3 times a week anyway. You just have to communicate expectations, and also get creative

They’re probably tired of having sex every day for work and take a break on their time off

Just be careful approaching girls who are with a date. Some guys in Lat Am see this as a disrespectful act and you never know who you’re dealing with. It’s a different culture, be mindful of that fact. And just because I have some time, here’s a little anecdote: Some 20 years ago I was in a beach town in Colombia. One night, I saw a very tall Australian guy approach a girl at a bar. She was with a date and her parents. The Aussie dude was a bit drunk and didn’t give a fuck. Before you knew it, t…

Yeah, because this is scientific speech, instead of a jargon that a few dweebs invented

God being a pickup artist sounds so exhausting. Don’t get me wrong, I know this stuff is useful to build confidence, but I could do without the cheesy jargon

I've had my accounts for many years and I've never been banned, but if that's the experience for some people, I'm happy to stand corrected. Now, claiming I'm 'spreading misinformation' is a bit extreme

Hmmmm, Tinder and Hinge don’t ban people just for the sake of banning them…. Just saying Edit: Apparently some people are getting banned for no reason. I’ve had my accounts for more than 5 years and never been banned, but I’m also not a heavy user

I'll give you a tip: learn how to dance and then attend dance parties or events. I've had a lot of success this way. Find a dancing partner and talk to her. The rest is on you.

I started approaching women. Yes, for years I was stuck in fear of rejection until I said fuck it. Little by little I gained confidence and got better at relating to them and being myself with them. The sooner you say fuck it, the better.

All good responses, and I will use some of them, but still make no mistake: there’s no attraction and one liner won’t change that

In my view and based on experience, it’s not worth it, but to each their own

A girl who tells you she has a boyfriend will most likely not want to hang out with you under any circumstances. There’s nothing you can do or say to change her mind. Take the hint, be classy and move on.

My son has adhd and is on the spectrum. He has struggles but at 19 has been working steadily for 2 years now.

This so what I’m thinking too. In other cultures, women expect men to express interest in them, otherwise they feel slighted. Good idea to communicate and ask before hand what’s her communication style. Does she like to text every day?

The best way to do it. Shows that you don’t take yourself so seriously. Nothing worse than getting into a dick measuring contest in front of a girl.
/r/seduction09/06/24 01:31 AM

Hey, not nearly enough, haha. But seriously the things I’ve learned are common knowledge, and probably things I already knew but had put into practice. The main thing I learned is to be cool, even cold blooded in social situations. Talk to anybody and be curious about their lives and what makes them tick. And of course, approach women with this mentality, you’re trying to get a number but if it doesn’t happen at least have a pleasant interaction with them. Be funny, but don’t try too hard. Rejec…

Hmm, I was married for a decade and divorced before hitting my prime in my forties. Before getting married I was extremely introverted and downright shy. Not particularly rich or powerful, but did learn a trick or two about approaching women and piquing their interest. Never thought I would be relatively successful with women at this late stage of my life, but I’ve been told I look better at this age than when I was younger, for whatever that’s worth.

I partially agree with you. In a conversation, you don’t need to spit out ready made pickup lines and crazy witty answers all the time. After all, more than specific words, what we remember about conversations is the general energy, how someone made us feel

Man, pick up a book, watch a movie, make something. The gym is great, but what about if some day you can’t go so often and you lose some of your gains? You have to find fulfillment somewhere else

Nah, being touchy can lead you to HR in no time. I would just ask her out. If she accepts, great. If not, stop thinking about her

Messaging someone who gave you their IG = perfectly normal behavior Looking for someone on IG, maybe just by their first name and then messaging them out of the cold = weird and kind of desperate As a guy and if a girl does that to me and I like her, of course I don’t care, but I think girls perceive that sleuth work differently

Nah, not in the US at least. Here if a girl wants you, you’ll know. You don’t ever have to worry about not chasing her too much.
