So badly I divorced him. We were an interracial marriage as well. And he could not cope that I would not follow/accept some of his views. Most were very anti freedom for me but none for him.

I gave my daughter my last name. And I’m damn proud of it.

“I like that I can be honest with you” “hope you can appreciate my honesty” while selling disrespect under the guise of honesty to test and push your boundaries or neg you.

Yikes. This is like verbatim to what my daughters father does to his on and off situationship arrangement. He uses her to pay for his weed addiction, her co-op, and I wish she would just stop and wake up. He once showed me how he would request money and she obliged. I know one day she’ll kick herself for it.

I wasn’t always a saint to her. I was angry at her for causing a lot of issues during my pregnancy. But it’s been years and I’ve just recently realized that she really is the one that lost in life. It’s sad to watch him use her for money and an occasional warm bed to avoid his moms couch. She might hate me but I pity her and hope she opens her eyes+ levels up too.

I would so LOVE to just because too lol but I don’t want anyone to figure out who I am here or be a mean girl. The woman is absolutely hopeless. She posts things in relation to men wanting her even when they are in a relationship. Posts things that are a direct shot at women and “her man this and her man that” and while she’ll state things about the taken men wives/gf’s having to check their partner (which is true) she neglects to admit she’s part of the problem too; She willingly admits she lik…

She’s too busy hating me for me to advice her. She’s the one that slept with him while I was pregnant but I’m the B. She prides herself in talking to taken men as well, spoke on it on her YouTube channel. *face palms lost cause that one. I hope one day she opens her eyes and realizes that women should stick together and that LVM are quick to throw us under the bus when we are no longer useful. She has no close friends and she’s hostile to other women. To me she’s deep into the false narrative th…

My daughters fathers girlfriend ...wait no, situationship pick-me needs this. He dumps her ALL the time, tries to get with me, tries someone else and when that doesn’t work he goes back to her house. The pick-me allows it too! The girl has a whole NYC condo, paid off car, and a good job and lets this STD infested no job having man in her life again and again but “your baby mama is a bitch and is the problem” ...ok doll-face

Like I was taught previously in this sub, leave on read and BLOCK. Not worth the hassle. Let em’ simmer because all they do is go down the list of multiple numbers to see who takes the bait.

I second this. Snapchat communication is a definite red flag. It makes them too comfortable to say things that they can hide and delete. Makes me question what is he hiding period by not exchanging numbers, like this is basic stuff and he’s failing. Observe, don’t listen to what he says.

This is why as a single mother, Idgf, you will not know my address, you will not know my place of employment, not even my real full name until I’ve vetted your ass full and through, let alone come anywhere near my children.

I grew up Christian however I no longer practice because I’m no longer interested in having my choices dictated. Nonetheless, perhaps try visiting other churches in your sector? Growing up in church was tough for me but the youth were encouraged to visit other churches with similar values and join activities with like minded people. If virginity is a big deal to you, you should definitely date someone that understands this. A secular man will find this foreign and more than likely not understand…

I did this once! Plastered it on my story too as a warning to any guy not to try me. Creep revenge should be a thing! If women collectively stopped being nice to these creeps and started calling them out less of them would be inclined to do this stupid shit.

My “all that glitters is not gold” senses are tingling. You need a pause. Stepping back from not seeing him for a few days and focusing on you should give you some perspective. This ain’t it sis. Most level headed men are also keen on learning more about you in depth before making you wifey. If he’s desperate to lock you down ASAP, I’d be talking less (literally because they learn to mirror what you say!) and observing him closer. Observe how he treats animals, waiters, how does he express himse…

This is my warning story about this: My most recent ex demanded exclusivity by date 2. Air headish me didn’t think much of it (you’d think after being stalked, still currently am) id be a little more aware...but this man was calm, quiet, charismatic....no red flags at first. I consider myself very smart these days and usually 3 steps ahead of the shit games men attempt, this ex fooled me for a bit. So the first few months went by without any issue but ladies by then my gut was starting to tell m…

Unfortunately he’s already starting to mold her and what I mean by that is, he’s shaping her into what he wants; a manipulated, gaslit, sucker. She took him back seeing proof of his doggish behavior and rather than admitting that, she’ll project her uncomfortable feelings into your friendship. Rather than admit her Bf is a dog, she’ll tell herself you must’ve done something to cause his behavior. She now knows he’s attracted enough to you to chase you, so she will feel uncomfortable when you’re …

And now I bet she’ll distance herself from you, not want you near her LV bf, side eye you if you do, resent you on the low....he showed her who he was and in time she will be forced to believe it, too bad it always happens too late.

Thank you for this. I am choosing not to date while my kids are little, in part because of how my stepfather treated me. Id rather wait till they are much older. I love hearing these stories because my mother is (unfortunately) a pickmeisha. She believes I need to find someone when the kids are young because it’s supposedly easier ....says the woman that did that very thing and had a horrific marriage with the my step father face palms nah.

This was true for me. I went on to have 3 kids, 2 living, by some miracle but refuse to have anymore. I’m flipping exhausted! Anyone who wants to date me needs to accept I’m done birthing babies.

My ex husband did this to me. So 100% that was probably the case. I fought back and I’m now gaining a second degree so I understand her position. I just feel her and my story alike is preventable by avoiding getting yourself trapped w/o the necessary safety precautions.

There’s a meme I use for situations like this. When will women learn. Secure your finances, your education and career. These things won’t up and decide to leave you one day. The best thing in that situation is having your own shit and telling that fucker BUH BYE, don’t let the door hit ya’ ....I got mine. 💁🏻‍♀️

Happened to me. Ended up with a full on restraining order because he began to stalk me, except I NEVER dated the gentleman. I was never interested and it set the crazy off. Be careful with behavior like that, maybe take your number off your account and change your social media name? I’m paranoid though lol

I bet he was love-bombing you, smh. They are super sneaky but eventually the cracks always show, even when they try to hide them. I trained myself enough to not react when one of those cracks show. Best to be safe given some snap when they realize you’re on to them.

It is very scary. My ex was definitely after money and financial support. We have to be incredibly mindful of everything. As much as I’d like to enjoy the butterflies of a new person I can’t allow myself to do so, the risk is not worth it.

That’s disgusting and horrible ☹️I now wait 6+ months of pure observation before I even decide if he’s an ok person. My recent ex taught me how long they can maintain a facade; they can go a while !

Absolutely. I was once recorded without my consent and I ended things with the person. This is why this topic really, really hits home for me and I’m absolutely ruthless with men that do not understand consent. Any sign of a man not respecting consent is a huge red flag to me and grounds for walking. If I were the OP I would’ve ended things.

If I were that girl I’d take a list of the guys that received the messages and give to the girl plus any proof such from the initial guy, texts, anything. And she hopefully reports it to their college dean. Most colleges don’t want to be on the other end of a non consent situation. If the school is smart it’ll crack down at least on the initial guy who sent the message. He shouldn’t get away with it. This pissed me off so much.

That’s why I flip the script on them, instead I explain it simply. Would you like for me to take a picture of your shriveled penis without your consent and pass it out around my female colleagues to examine, critique, analyze, and of course laugh at your lack of erect manhood? No? I didn’t think so. And that’s consent buddy. flips hair

What in the clusterfuck did I just read?! 😟 And she really HAS to ask! Girl GTFO, like yesterday! It hurts me to see emotions cloud the clearest of decisions. I’m just saying, sometimes you need to tell your emotions to shut the hell up and keep it pushing. I can’t with this post, all sorts of triggered.

I dated someone like this. Ultimately it took monthsss for his true nature to show. He had a very scary tempter that didn’t surface until triggered. This was a very tricky guy compared to the others I’ve dated, I had to observe him carefully as he didn’t share much. He was VERY quiet, reserved and always said “I love hearing you speak”, pretty much reading me like a book. I’m not saying yours is the same case, it could be pure incompatibility which is just as much as a dealbreaker as any. With a…

I remember ending a relationship the moment I sniffed even the faintest of interest over my money. This woman needs to do the same and protect her assets! My ex found out my family owned property that I would ultimately inherit, I will never forget how his face lit up, had the nerve to say he couldn’t wait to be a stay at home husband, HA! Dumped him asap fast.

I say this with all the female softness, love, and empowerment there is to give. Please THINK very hard before walking down that isle. We are responsible for our own self worth but you should totally feel irresistible to the man you plan to devote your life to. You have one life, just one, please think.

I’m on medication for anxiety and depression. I’ve learned to understand that the negative committee in my head is just there, in my head. Not a reflection of who I am or my surroundings. Awareness that your mental health can make you vulnerable and preparing for those moments ahead of time have helped me tremendously! I have a box of tools that I’ve prepared for those moments. 1) I treat myself kindly, as I would any friend of mine. 2) I do a purely selfish thing in the name of self care, a buy…

I’d like to wait a little over 2 years. I have children and had a traumatic upbringing with my stepfather whom my mom married by year two. He turned real evil the moment he moved in with my siblings and myself. Im also divorced and in no hurry to marry again. However the intention should be there and he should be eager to walk down the isle.

Happened to me. It’s alright, I’m 31, on my way to getting my second degree, getting ready to buy my own home too. And he ? Well, he’s living on his parents couch (literally, they have no room for him). Has since for the last 3 years, terribly jealous he could not break me too. I’m just living my best life :) and even with my 2 children I have absolutely no shortage of men trying to date me. I’m too busy building my own though. Wear your crowns high and shiny my beauties.
