Well said. Humility, gratefulness, and stoicism. These are all great foundations to improve who you are in general, and will attract like-minded individuals.

I would argue that it provides value to both newcomers and veterans alike. For the new comers, it is an establish of a new paradigm in which they need to use to see life differently. For veterans, it is a reminder.

I would recommend occasionally moving some of your hobbies in to social events. Depending on where you live, there are plenty of clubs for running, biking, etc. Staying within this realm will filter out the unfit and unhealthy. Do not allow yourself to slide however. If you currently do these things for yourself, only occasionally do them with other people. Do not let your routine slide because the meeting with the hot girls is during the same time. Always put yourself first.

While this post rings very true with the current state of legal affairs, it is also on you to ensure that you are extremely critical when choosing a life mate. While modern (western) society tell us that we are too picky or judgmental, there is nothing on this planet that you should be more selective with than choosing a life mate. Maintain the abundance mentality, and understand and accept that with your high standards there is a reality that it will be a long time before you find someone with …

Awesome post. This is one of the harder parts of TRP IMO. Abundance mentality fights against possession. Letting go is the only way to get over it. Usually by getting onto someone else like you said.

Glad to see that you're not biting on the victim mentality so many people are pushing on the black community. Keep crushing it.

Great write-up. I hope more men on this forum grasp both what's said and unsaid in this post.

This would be a good time to read Rollo Tomassi's "Rational Male". Don't get mad at fish for swimming.

This speaks extremely to the act non verba mantra. In all walks of life you should show your intents via actions, not spouting them out as though you are the first genius to come to said realizations. Outside of your closest male friends and forums like these, sharing your ideas with people is ignorant and dangerous, and speaks of someone who wants a pat on the back. As men, people love or hate us based on our actions, not our words.

Strong immigration laws do not equal racism, no matter how many times CNN does their best to convince people otherwise. If you do not want uninvited guests in your house, it does not make you xenophobic or imply that you dislike people of a different color or nationality.

Life is good boys, and it all starts with you. Lead and they will follow. But you better be someone worth following. Work on yourself RELENTLESSLY. Whatever the problem is, you are to blame, cause only you can solve it. Great post and a solid statement. Ownership of your successes and failures is the first step. Pretending it is someone else's fault is a mistake the sheep make. Do not be a sheep.

A solid meditation routine will help you understand and regulate your emotions. "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius has a lot of solid examples of how to do this.

Solid break down of a tried and true method of keeping your head. Whether it happens with women or colleagues, this tactic is proven to show by action that your frame is not shaken by words.

If you have not established a Monk Mode routine, now is the time to do it. It's obvious that you still have feelings for this girl, and a slight case of one-itis. That being said, it will be used against you and could possibly lead you into another relationship with the first girl you hook up with because "She just get's me, unlike the ex!" I always tell people to (re)read Rollo Tomassi's The Rational Male after a break up. It will remind you of your position and highlight where you went wrong w…

So breaking down the facts of your situation. You spent some time with a girl, she met another guy, and she's now not interested in you. First thing you're going to want to do is blame her. How could she be so unfaithful? How could she throw away such a good thing? The thing you're failing to understand is that this is just one example of why you will read a lot of people saying AWALT. Women will always want to look for the next best thing. It's biological. To quote Dante Nero: "You don't get ma…

To anyone just coming here, understand. This is a prime example of a troll post. Don't waste your time to give this "lost soul" your attention or advice. It's another BP tactic to elicit a reaction from you. Not one mention of how long they've been reading the side bar or attempt to move forward. Betas are bored on Sundays it seems.

It starts with interests. What interests you? What is something that you're interested in enough to put effort into? A few years ago I realised I had a big interest in computers. The hardware was easy for me to work with but I didn't know enough about software. So I decided to delve deeper into it. I had heard that Linux was the tech minded OS of choice so I flashed Ubuntu on my laptop. After becoming familiar with using it on a daily basis I figured I wanted to get into programming. A quick Goo…

I agree with this. Scenario: Her: Hey, what are you up to tonight? You: I'm doing x Her: Want to do y with me instead? You: No Remember that you are the prize. Your time and attention are valuable. If she wants to join you on the epic ride that is your life then cool. If not then she can fuck right off. Maintain your frame and an abundance mentality and this will become as natural as breathing.

You're right. All girls aren't like that. There's no such thing as a leader/follower (alpha/beta) dynamic in social circles. Biology has no influence on us. Everyone is a special snowflake.

you're right it. As well as learning how to deal with the opposite sex by understanding how they think and knowing how handle the different situations which always come up appropriately. The problem people have is they ways which are used and described to handle those situations because it takes away the fairy tale of everyone being a unique butterfly.

I feel like there are a couple of things to point out here. Your post is similar to a lot of posts from people who honestly just don't get it. I keyed in on a couple of phrases you used like "it seems," "I'm divided", and " I feel." These are all terms used to justify a position. And in case you didn't know it, your position is that you're having a hard time "swallowing the pill." The good news on that part is that you're not part of a silent majority. There are tons of subscribers here going th…

I wish more people understood this. TRP has taught me more about myself and women than any other source. It's shown me how I wasn't the man those women in my last needed. It's shown me how I can be better for myself and in turn for them. Is it based on rejection? Emotion? Hate and self pity? Very likely. But what has become of it? In this case the ends justify the means.

BP is an invention of RP. The posts are made by anti-RPers. RP refers to these people as BP, but we similarly don't refer to ourselfs as red pill in the real world. A man that doesn't subscribe to the feelings argument and doesn't support feminism sounds kind of RP to me. There are plenty of people who don't use the internet for advice. Are you saying there is something wrong with people who turn to the internet for advice? Or is it only a problem when RPers do it? On the last comment good for y…

The clearly sums up that you only focus on the stuff about women. The meat is in self improvement, whether you choose to believe it or not.

I agree that there are more stories of BP examples on PP, but I wonder why they put it in a discussion forum instead of their own? Likely to troll or just to argue. But maybe they're not so sure and need validation? That you referred to RP posts as "false field reports" and BP posts as "content" should tell you something. You can't say that people who play video games and masturbate a lot are as social or successful or in as good physical condition as people who limit this stuff. It's a matter o…

Meditation, physical fitness, better work ethic, less video game time, less masturbating time, all sound like self-improvement to me. I could be wrong though.

Again TRP does include sexual strategy, but that is not everything that it is about. If so it wouldn't promote meditation, fitness, socializing, and a strong work ethic. There's not a person on this planet who can say those things are bad for you. Or sex for that matter. RP is backed by people who go out into the world and apply what they've learned. BP has nothing but "I don't like it because my feels" backing it. BP is a counter-ideology in the sense that it seeks to ruin everything RP promote…

I subscribe to all RP sub's, as well as this one and BP. On the BP, I see nothing but them making fun of RP posts or linking other stories of what they believe is RP. Most of the comments on there are based on "I disagree because of my personal feelings" with almost no examples or actual evidence backing up their claims. The people who actually comment with evidence and life experience is the best part of that sub, but it's rare to find that. I find it interesting that you claim that most storie…

Volunteering is seen as a good thing in the job market and looks good on a resume, from what I've been told. It shows that you diversify yourself (like your portfolio) and aren't just a normal worker bee. Too much devotion to certain cause can have the opposite effect, however.
/r/askTRP09/06/15 07:48 PM

This is also not true. While yes game and having sex is a big part of the way RP works, its major focus is on self improvement. Part of that self improvement is realizing certain truths, no matter how much we don't like them. An interesting thing I've noticed is how RP is backed by theory, field reports, and success/failure stories. BP has nothing of the sort. Edit: Grammar.

This is one of the reasons I tell people having my nose broken in a fight was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. It made me realize that I wasn't made of glass, and that you can still push through a fight.

I disagree with the post OP trans not being deceiving. There are few people who would admit that sort of thing and would hide that for some time. This in itself is deception. The post OP hopes their partner won't find out. If a man were to get with a woman and establish an LTR with her, only to find out after they were married that "she" couldn't have kids, I'm sure he would feel very deceived. The same could be said if the roles were reversed.

"Nothing is true. Anything is possible." Altaiir Ibn-La'Ahad Sounds corny but one of the things I keep in mind. Helps with DGAF mentality.

Here are some things I noticed you didn't mention: Meditation: I don't have to spell out the benefits of doing this. Make this a part of your life if it isn't already. Journaling: This goes perfectly with meditation. Clearing your head will make it easier to write out your actual feelings. Once their down on paper, you should be able to focus on the problem. Once you zero down on the target, plan out a solid, realistic solution to neutralize it. Old Habits: Are you still listening to that CD you…
