You don't have to believe everything in the report. The fact that at least the 'incident' or whatever is being reported on is coming to light. Something that other MSM outlets (looking at you BBC, Guardian) are more than happy to relegate to the local news section because it doesn't tie in with their politics.

Textbook parental alienation I am afraid. Happened to me, and I know of dozens of similar cases. The last paragraph brings the point across so well - why do we have to prove we have done nothing wrong when it is so obvious (in most cases) which parent is telling lies and manipulating to the obvious end of erasing the other parent from the childs life. I have had to endure my child telling me that he will my new partner "what I did", he never told me what. - As the poster says "You have to prove …

Leaving aside that the figures seem to have come from Bernie Madoffs accountant. Practically all have missed one important and sad point - The letter is to the children, in answer to a gripe from him. She should not have brought the children into this. She should be taking her disagreements straight to the father. All she wants to do with this piece of paper is devalue the father in the child's eyes. What sort of effect will that have? Additionally, it legitimises the fact with children that it …

Incredibly poignant film. I saw my children and myself so often while watching. This is how parental alienation starts, and the children - who have done nothing to deserve this - suffer as well as the alienated parent.

I don't think I have ever seen such a piece of blatantly biased reporting in my entire life. abc stands for Australian Broadcasting Corporation? Hopefully not funded with tax dollars.

I think my small part of MRM (Custody laws, parental alienation etc.) is gaining traction. In the UK PA was debated in parliament recently, high profile child abduction cases by mothers are leading to discussions debunking the generally accepted 'fact' that mothers are always right. False accusations against the father while delaying the custody process are being investigated properly. I have been suffering under the effects of having my children alienated from me for several years now. This yea…

Hope the input is taken on board. Take a look at the points put forward by the group: Refusing to communicate at all Refusing to communicate unless through (an expensive) solicitor Delaying decisions on arrangements such as holiday dates until the last minute Changing contact arrangements at the last minute without reason or explanation Constantly being late for agreed or court ordered contact Taking children away from school on holiday without notice or agreement Refusing to engage with the non…

She did what?!!!! It really is irrelevant if this is three years or thirteen years old. This father's tale needs telling over and over again. This testament is his legacy, and if it changes one mind, or leads to a discussion how broken the family law syetem is then it is worth its repeat publication.

Quite true, most parents will never experience parental alienation, and certainly not at this level. But nevertheless it exists and is almost completely overlooked by society until something like this happens. Then there is a quick "This should never happen period", followed by the usual inactivity where my children, myself and others are abused through parental alienation. This is the real problem.

The report in the Nottingham post is more comprehensive than the mail. Surprise surprise! The judge also detailed the allegations made against the father AND his male family members and that the children were indoctrinated by the mother. The children were under the impression that they were abused. They will need therapy for a long time probably. It will also be a long while before they start to trust their father, although he did nothing wrong. In the meantime on twitter #justice4s is still goi…

Correct. I was interested in this case and there was only one small regional newspaper with the comments open. Interestingly though look on mumsnet! The comments were as one would expect in the main. But there were several voices of reason drawing attention back to the facts of the case. Lemmings will believe anything as they fall off the cliff. Satanic cults included!

Instead of repeating the facts of the case - that the children were made wards of court and the police made the statement “poses a risk to the boys”. A family court in the UK does not take away custody from the mother for nothing. What about the libel of the father from the so-called "Womens coalition": http://archive.is/gj0yQ The comments on the facebook page alone, with their unquestioning loyalty to the abducting parent - willingness to believe even the most ridiculous allegations mean there …

It's a hit piece on Matt O’Connor, the founder of Fathers4Justice. The relevant information comes in the last paragraph as always. He's been in the press recently, and has a couple of initiatives going on at the moment to stop court-driven lack of non-residential parents to their children. And as far as cuddling the children - If you have been through (or are going through) any sort of custody battle - you do tend to cuddle your children a lot - because you hardly see them anymore!
