there's no contention. you're disagreeing with the dictionary, not me. your problem. not mine. you're the one who's triggered because you're responding after i said we can stop here. once again, we let's stop here. go argue with the dictionary.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:48 PM

> I disagree that's fine. let's stop here. your disagreement is with the dictionary, not me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:52 PM

I comprehend fine. you simply contradicted yourself. you said: > They have kids because of male ego and unabashed self-interest. I get that’s a big driver for them. I can’t relate. but then when i point out that anyone who has kids is doing it for selfish reasons, you agreed. > you’re going to have a kid for self-interest (which anyone who has a kid not by force is doing) so you can relate after all. because root cause is the same. both men and women want kids for selfish reasons. selfishness is…

> If you’re going to have a kid for self-interest (which anyone who has a kid not by force is doing)… i appreciate you acknowledging that. that was the only point i was making. > My point is males want kids but don’t seem to envision any of the labor of raising kids. They just say they want kids like kids are a theoretical concept that someone else deals with. And that’s all good for him because now he can check off his list “had offspring.” From my observation, i would agree with this too. > … …

> They have kids because of male ego and unabashed self-interest. as do the women. to point out your ignorance, there's no unselfish reason to have kids regardless of your gender. > want kids have them for a very simple reason: we want to yes. it's all about what the parent wants. never what the kid wants. the kid didn't ask to be born in this world to suffer, age and die. > When I think of kids I think of sacrifice and hard work... Not just for 9 months of my body. But 18+ years of nurturing an…

so you agree with me that PPD applies it's rules whenever it feels like. <image> letting the users break some rules here and there means PPD mods come down hard on anyone, any time, whenever they feel like by pointing out they broke some rule some time ago. all it does is give them leverage. they are never "safe" in PPD. in PPDU incels, femcels and blackpillers will be explicitly allowed (but not misogyny/misandry!). can't lord over someone and ban them for rules that don't exist!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 08:46 AM

<image> then i suggest you look closer.

When I point it out to the mods, they go "We didn't see those comments". selective vision lol. disgusting
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:27 PM

too late haha, subreddit names can't be changed
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:04 PM

yep. it should be clear enough to most users on PPD once they spend long enough here how biased the mods are I didn't make PPDU cause i wanted to. i did it because it had to be done. <image> mod abuse in PPD hasn't changed for years and never will. enough is enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 07:00 PM

absolutely egregious!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 06:55 PM

terrible! this really show's there's no saving the situation as is. not from inside PPD. if PPD continues to be a monopoly, then it will continue to be a monstrosity. competition makes it better for all users (:
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 06:50 PM

this is exactly the kind of thing im going to prevent in PPDU
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 06:48 PM

PSA to all the partnered men out there. Go forth and have as many 1st dates with other women as you like. After all, if your partner asks "are you dating other women?" you can emphatically answer "no", because women don't consider meeting a 100 other women in 1st dates as "dating". careful now, just make sure to wrap up your business by the 1st date. you're only in trouble if you have 2nd or more dates with the same woman. but if it's 1st dates only. it's not "dating", so don't worry about it ;)

> Straight men go to the gym to try and improve their attractiveness because it’s a simple repetitive task that they can understand how to do. also everyone should be hitting the gym, but especially women because heavy lifting improves bone density. women are more susceptible to osteoporosis (accelerated by menopause), showing signs even as early as 30yo! sorry you're the one who's looking for semantic loop holes. for me it's very clear. "dating" just means going on dates with. whether that's 100 dates with the same person, or 100 dates with 100 people (1 date each) is irrelevant to the fact both of those describe the same thing - going on date. the dictionary does not disagree with what i just said. im the one who accepts the simplest broadest definition of "dating" simply going on dates (occam's razor). you're the one who's trying to constrain …

i would describe them as someone i dated. the number of dates i went on with them is irrelevant. "going on dates" == "dating" doesn't matter if it's 1st/2nd or nth date. > Why do you need an other term for that? You expressed what you wanted, no? my point exactly! "dating" already means "going on dates". we don't need to redefine it. going on 100 1st dates is "dating". <image> there's no specific number of dates attached to the meaning of the word "dating".
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 04:39 PM

thats cool. I was thinking there was some perhaps some specific goal or something. or you're gonna die soon or something. you're very fortunate to know what you want so early and be able to execute.

<image> i think there's some women are wonderful bias going on here. when i was young and dumb and inexperienced i too thought that women were "better people". like literally, morally superior. i honestly thought that. i was inspired. /r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 10:27 AM

<image> men who date women have more negative view of women than men who don't date women. Contrary to the hypothesis that misogyny is driven by romantic struggles, support for gender equality has typically been lower among boys who go on dates, and has decreased by a similar amount among boys who go on dates and those who don’t. Misogyny is not a barrier or hinderance to dating and seems to increase with dating.

> Society is built around the ways that we're useful to each other. The moral challenge is to step beyond that and view others as full human beings with their own subjectivity. i don't see a contradiction there. you see people as subjective beings and derive use from that very fact. that's committees in a nutshell. i don't consider people finding people useful the same as reducing them to subjective-less inanimate objects.

Then there's romantic attachment, driven by the ego delusion. Unwise. Unskillful. Leads to clings and cravings which then leads to many sufferings - jealousy, insecurity, greed, frustration, anxiety, grief and many more.

The return is going to be the experiences. you can characterise it how you like, but you admit it works for somebody. that's all that matters. it's not an impossibility. if people accept the risk:reward relationship, then there's nothing inherently wrong in pursing the course of action. cold approach, lottery, doesn't matter. who are you to tell people what level of risk they are allowed to take? you're not a god. if they want to take 1 in a billion shots, that's their prerogative. you can't convince someone out of their preferred risk t…

> I think if more women had my realtively positive experiences then theyd be more open to it, but it seems like the men in my area are much more respectful than others. this is it. negative comments i see is to do with "it wasn't a nice encounter". we'll that's an issue with the approach of the approach, not with the approach itself. the advice could be "be nicer about it" not "don't do it", that's overkill.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 10:12 AM

so you deny that no relationships has ever started from cold approach? because that can easily be disproven. > Cold approaching is never respectful, short, or considerate. doesn't sound like an issue given some women will still get with men who cold approach. so either A - you're wrong here or B - those women tolerate it. either way it's a win for a man

all 3 examples break your rule. so will you cede that women are chasing after young too and there's no reason to make this gendered? see i personally have no issue with age gaps myself. i don't care who it is or what the gender. all im asking is if you want to demonize age gaps, at least be consistent and apply it to all genders. anything less than that and you're just being prejudiced and using it as excuse to bash men only. we can all see through it.

> Having good social skills is indicated by people actually liking to interact with you. if that's the metric then every president ever has bad social skills since 50% of population don't like him. i.e. silly metric. you're not in control of how people react and everyone reacts different.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:28 AM

its easier to form a bond with these people than complete strangers the upside. the downside is it's gonna be harder to break that bond when it's time to breakup. rumours. damage to friend circle. people taking sides. you're putting friendships at risk, not just the one relationship. the upside of dating outside the circle is insulating the circle from any fallout. there's no a free lunch. everything has risks. just a question of what kind.

did that work for you? have you found the one?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:48 AM

of course. pros and cons to both. point is social circles alone are not the panacea some make them out to be. they got their own cons and are limited in scope. imo the best solution in theory is dating apps that actually work. intent is clear, scope is unlimited, no fallout in social circles (unless you knew the match beforehand). in practice those companies are milking everyone dry and everyone suffers. so all options are bad atm :D

> Just because someone is smaller doesn't mean they can't still try or even still succeed. sure but odds of success lowers. thought experiment. picture society where women are taller and bigger than men. so reverse image of what we have now. do you believe there will be absolutely zero reduction in violence from men to women? so relative sizes have absolute zero bearing on rate of attempts and success of assaults from men to women? i find it difficult to believe.

sounds like patriarchy trying to tell women how they should look by framing muscular physique as "ruined". if chicks start flashing their guns more, guys will be trying less shit.

Big age gaps at that stage come with differences in experience, leverage, and life stage. That’s where the risk comes from. that inherently is not a problem unless there's data to show there's a problem. I’m pointing at the conditions that make those outcomes more likely how much more likely though? compared to base rate of exploitation of age matched relationships. how much more? if base rate of age match exploitation is 0.1% and age gap increases that by 200% to ... 0.2% that's not a big deal.…

don't sit on train tracks, a train may run you over. don't date bigger guys, a bigger guy may "run you over" (overpower/assault/kill). i think it's comparable. meanwhile sitting on bicycle lane, risks weaker collision. dating smaller guy, risks less damage. i think it's pretty comparable.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 05:44 PM
2

"depends" ok so so you cede dating smaller man will matter in some cases and thus will result in net reduction of assaults attempt and/or success at the population level. yes or no?

im asking for rationality. a persoan sits on train tracks. "you know maybe try not doing that?" - me. then gets run over by a train. do we blame the train? was i victim blaming there?

It’s honestly weird how hard you’re fighting to defend 30 year olds dating teenagers. ad hominems don't win arguments. People warn based on patterns, not perfect certainty. so what's the pattern? wheres your data to show exactly how many age gaps are exploitative? Your anecdotes don’t disprove that and your anecdotes do? i can just as easily brush off as "exceptions" as well.

> Height or muscles do not correlate with SA rates. not with the rates, but with the extend of the damage that can be done. it's pretty basic logic that the bigger the opponent, the less damage they will take on average. so be the bigger opponent. less chance to be overpowered. like it's obvious isn't it? right? it's not about damage avoidance, but damage reduction and disincentivising trying something.

That’s why people don’t just say “be careful,” they warn more strongly. It’s not prejudice, it’s acknowledging who actually has the information and who doesn’t. that's your opinion and i disagree. it's prejudice. ageist to be specific. firstly you're infantilising the 18 year old, then demonising the older person - guilty till proven innocent. women are worried about being assaulted by men on dates? ok, here's a solution. date shorter men than you. skinnier men than you. you know, ones you can actually beat up if needed by height and size alone. women complain about being scared of men, yet actively seek out 6 foot big guys then complain about assault risks. you've put yourself at a physical disadvantage by your own dating choices ladies. make it make sense please.

"all older men are evil" is that it? just because some younger women got burned doesn't mean they all did or all will. by that logic any women who dated any man ever can likewise say to stay away from all men just because she had rotten luck with it. age gap is just age gap. whether relationship works out is based on dumb luck, not age.

if woman is approaching and making her intent clear it's not just a casual hook up, how could she be used for sex? she just has an interest and approached. the guy may just gonna lie to get sex sure. but well reverse the situation, guy approaches first and lies to get sex. what has changed? nothing. who approaches who is irrelevant to the outcome.

no im not convinced by that. i mean sure when it comes to interest it may not be 50:50, but that's not what im talking about. im talking about that from the girls who are interested, not enough of them are approaching the men they want. then they complain "where did all the good men go?", "id rather have the bear, there's no one to date out there". well yeah, men went to your competition... cause you just stood by and let it happen. literally. it's so ironic you don't want to be objectified - ye…

this doesn't make any sense. if guy and girl are interested in each other it's irrelevant who approached who first. so no reason to bias one way or the other. easier to get what? you, the girl, want that guy. that's what you want - so you approach. yeah, it's making it easier to get what you want - which is him.

women who approach will have an advantage. it's obvious. i don't get why women don't use that. i saw some mention as some kinda filter for "assertiveness" or "risk taking" or "leadership". lol. be the person you want to attract. you want assertive, be assertive. Why would assertive, risk taking leaders value someone else who's none of those qualities? Passive, weak. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 12:04 AM

her competition doesn't need to approach because they are hotter. that's the point. the hottest guy will got to them if not intercepted. so if she's happy with hottest guy going to her competition and she getting the leftovers - so be it. she had the chance to get the hottest guy, by approach, but pissed it away. so they get the partner they deserve (the leftovers)

gender ratio really. it's simple supply and demand. it's also why college girls have more sex (give it up easier) because they know they have to compete more intensely for less guys and they know what the guys want... this was from some research i've seen (to lazy to find, don't ask). also there's a country somewhere (can't recall) where the ration of women:men on dating app is way higher. like 2:1 ? and as expected, guys are getting way more matches there. it's all supply demand. all it ever wa…

> this idea that women will cold approach men extremely directly is a fantasy that will never happen. then they will get the partners they deserve (or no-one, then complain about where the good men gone lol). where the good men gone is they went to the competition who was hotter and thus could afford being passive. you had your chance to intercept him by approach first, but you blew it. not every girl can afford just being passive or they're just laying the red carpet to their competition lol.

No it’s not. When a couple marries they agree to become one unit one family. The assets are considered to belong to the family unit which includes the husband and the wife. It’s part of the concept of marriage to combine assets under one family. combined assets is one thing, dividing up assets is another. both partners are entitled to a share, my argument is that share doesn't need to be 50. We have courts and divorce attorneys for nuance not all divorces split assets 50:50 that’s just like you …

what you said is not gendered. egoistic behaviour is not gendered. woman seek validation and confirmation of desirability just the same, going for top 20% men or w.e. or posting endlessly online to get upvotes and asking if they hot etc. etc. who takes endless pictures of themselves? women do. guys don't. it's why it's so hard for them to make dating profiles, because they don't take million selfies all the time and they're not practiced at all.

<3 yeah. like have you noticed the asymmetry around the marriage contract? most people don't go to consult a lawyer before signing up to marriage contract. nobody advises that. a piece of legally binding stuff with hefty penalty of 50% assets gone. yet nobody reads the fine print in advance? yet when it comes to divorce, lawyers are automatically involved for everyone. and all of a sudden everybody is scrutinising the fine print. and everyone needs protection etc. why is that hmm? why did no-one…

I meant I would never be in the position of a stay at home mom. okey. The resistance is marital property is split 50-50. I don't want to invite an avenue for selfish men to argue their wives don't deserve half because they weren't good enough mothers i mean sure. it's your choice to prefer this way. but again you're only presenting the downside. everything has an upside. the upside is you successfully argue and get 70:30 instead. that's what you're giving up. to each their own! That's fine for an average case, which is good enough for law, on average. But it ignores the women who underperform (neglect / abuse the kids/husband) who could perhaps get less than 50, while also ignoring the women who outperform and raise great kids and could get more than 50. So back to the post, yes some motherhood is worth "less" and some will be worth "more". So i'd welcome law to be more nuanced.

> Avoiding motherhood while acting like mothers to pets and other people in their lives to sate their instincts is an obvious maladaptation, aka a flaw. as subjective opinion and i disagree. we'll have to agree to disagree then.

If my husband came to me like- "I want you to raise our kids instead of working and saving for retirement. I'll need you to punch a time card and I'll decide how much of our marital property you'll get in the event of a divorce based on that. I don't trust that you'll actually do a good job with our children and home if I'm not managing you." The husband does not decide in divorce what you get, the judge and the law does. i don't think you got what he said. men simply wont be talking first. women can still come up and talk to men any time. the world can be as chatty as it is today, but in this world he's proposing, women will be doing the driving. his argument: when man approach woman, she may be intimidated (weaker sex). when woman approach man, he won't be intimidated (stronger sex). his question is: why not let women do all the approaching then?

> If the relationship is solely based on sex that is a FWB or just casual sex, or being a sugar daddy and not an actual relationship. All those things listed are "relationships". sorry to be pedantic, but it's a semantic problem we're having here. you have a particular idea of what a "relationship" is, as if it's one specific thing. "relationship" is a broad term not constrained to a single idea you seem to have. so your post is talking past each other. they were taking about X type of relations…

in your imagination? just because you conjure up random thoughts in your mind does mean they map to an actual reality bro. im imagining a pink elephant right and now and he's not standing my room i can assure you of that.

bro you got it all mixed up ass backwards. a small weak insecure dog barks the loudest and acts like asshole - because they are insecure and need to prove something. a large strong dog is confident and secure and doesn't even bark. he's nice. he doesn't need to prove anything. he knows he's him.

I'm not assuming any rules. There are non. Anything goes. And neither does nature for that matter. Nature is a completely blind force. Natural selection takes care of picking those with best fit, but at all times it's running all the strategies. The reality is "Kyle and Karl can work together to kill Bob, so it's in Bob's best interest to offer something to Kyle and Karl that's fair enough Kyle and Karl don't kill him." That's only one reality. There are infinite number of realities nature is ra…

correct. this was strictly framed within the nature's "game of reproduction". winning here is simply passing on genes as far as possible. the universe is indeed indifferent. even nature is indifferent. it's a blind force. 99%+ of species that that have ever existed on earth are now extinct. our time will come in due course.

sorry, but what's the alternative strategy you'd like to actually propose? to appeal to what most people value? bro you're not even doing that. i guarantee it. RedPill is a tiny niche sub-community on global scale, statistically irrelevant. So by your words, RedPill opinions don't matter. If you want to appeal to what most people value you should be wearing blue, not red.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 09:45 PM

in Nihilism "should/shouldn't" don't exist. if you just replace that with "don't need to". i.e. "Dating isn't fair and it doesn't need to be. (to continue the species)" etc. then rest seems accurate. if goal is to continue species with the strategy of reproducing generations that have the best fit, the mechanism that is consistent with that strategy is competition. "fairness" etc. are random subjective labels people conjure up to describe the fact they lost the (human) race. nature is indifferen…

sorry bud you're getting all kinds of confused there. why do you care what most women and men value? are you planning to date most men and women? that's billions of people. not physically possible. so why do you care? have you actually done the math and realised you can focus on the most niche 0.1% of the entire population and still have have a dating pool of millions. a number so mind numbingly large, that would require multiple life times to date through. You're right that even if you date a 1…

yeah. mens section in clothing shops is a little corner tucked away at the back, or the basement or somewhere upstairs where the kids section is. wanted to get a nice leather jacked. went through dozens of stores in various large shopping centres. abysmal selection. like a handful across all of the stores combined. and all terrible. meanwhile just one woman's shop has tonnes of good choices. mens oppression! must be the patriarchy right? somehow it's always the patriarchy.

people can have high libidos and masturbate a lot, but still be selective with their partners and have low N count. or just busy with life. studies. work. less time to date, till now perhaps. it's not a perfect predictor. personally i don't think anyone's history matters. what matters is the future you plan on together. past performance is not predictor of future performance. You just talk, in advance, to discuss libido etc. and check for compatibility. a high N count person could be looking to …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:40 PM

just an idea, but don't you think it's the other way around? if someone comes clean and up front like "yeah i have high N count, but now im reformed". vs someone who has high N count and hasn't reformed and will actively fake and lie to conceal that very fact "yeah only a few..."?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:12 PM

i've seen a few of your comments on posts recently. rapidly becoming one of my favourites. like "what it would like if a sane rational person were to make a comment on PPD?" kind of vibes haha im surprised you've ended up here. just makes me wonder even harder what kind of special secret insanity you must be harbouring hmm? there are no sane people on PPD :P
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:05 PM

In the OG comment you're ascribing sleeping with your best friend as a feature of marriage, implication it's a feature of marriage only. Now I know both you and I agree th…

But what I’m still waiting for is: who are all these people saying things about marriage. Can you even answer? No because i was never talking about that. I'm not taking that position. My only position was your OG message was unclear, which sparked this whole thread here. It’s not my fault if reading comprehension isn’t a ppd tent pole. The burden of effective communication lies with the writer, not the reader. The more skilled the writer, the broader audience they can reach without confusion. Yo…

Junior_Ad_3086 thought, that you though that. Based on your OG comment. He though you were one of those people. why would anyone think it’s an all or none thing? That's how your OG comment reads. I understand that's not your actual position, so we'll chalk this up as "misspoke unintentionally".

are you arguing in bad faith? Marriage isn’t for everyone (1). But for a lot of people getting to have a sleepover every night with your best friend (with opportunities for some extra fun adult time) is a great way to live. (2) Why did you put clause (1) & (2) side by side then, implying they are related via the but conjunction? The implication being that marriage is for those who want to have a friend to sleep with. u/Junior_Ad_3086 is calling you out that you don't need marriage for that. I du…

I value Isaac Newton and Nikola Tesla far more than some chad with 300 N count. The former are in history books, the latter are nobodies. Choosing to value men based on N count is your choice. Don't assume everyone thinks like you do.
