2	Has anyone ever moved to a new city, knowing nobody, in their mid-to-late 20's and successfully made -real- friends? If so, how did you do it? I moved to a small student city in the Netherlands when I was about 24. Met a few people and some of them came to be my best friends here. Now they're gone and I'm trying to meet new people. Hobbies like sports are indeed great to meet new people. But also in a lot of cities they have meet-ups, like for couch surfing people. Try to find something like it in your city as well. Pick one that you think it's more or less your style and go on the field. =) BTW, I still have no clue what I'm doing, so don't trust me so much.
