I love it when teachers are like that. Most of them would sigh before replying to you and explain the topic in a bad manner.

Lmao my programming and math teachers are mostly like that. I had one programming teacher who wasn't like that and he was the best teacher ever. Some of us are just unlucky

I was in that situation with my ex lmao. After 8 months of our breakup, he kicked me out of the group, thankfully I was no longer active by the time this happened. Hope that doesn't happen in your case. I still miss that group of people, but if he's there, I don't wanna be part of it.

That sounds easy on paper, but it really isn't. I had to ask one of my long time friends why he didn't like to talk to me anymore because we were friends for more than 6 years and it felt weird.

I was in the same situation a year ago. How much did that train of thought last on you? It lasted for about two weeks in my case, my wonderful (and sometimes awful) brother helped me open my eyes about the whole thing. We can't go through breakups all by ourselves, so friends are very valuable in these situations.

Agree. I should add that most programmers are fucking creeps (I went through hell with one of them, and I'm a junior myself) so this doesn't sound cute either.

As a person who's always too emotionally drained to talk to my friends, I hate phonecalls too. I remember this one time my ex fought my sad ass and he made me bawl my eyes out while we were in the phonecall, all while my family heard me (they hate me). I was depressed for two years because of him, did bad at uni because of him (he wanted me to fail because he said I was too dumb for engineering and that I should've done art instead). Pathetic, I should've kept him blocked.

That's what I used to say, until I got into engineering. God damn.

Lmaooooo yes girl. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY'RE LIKE THAT. I'm freckled and I have some ginger hairs myself and most creepy guys never fail to point that out. Ugh I hate fetishes like that HAHAHA that last bit.

He is. I don't try to talk about sex with him because he's into one night stands and the like, so when I say that I don't like that stuff, he calls me a prude. He's insufferable but I still talk to him because he's fun, I also insult him so it's all in good faith.

Even if they don't do that it's still gross. My ex used to say the exact same thing, "bUt I wOuLd nEvEr WaTcH pOrN wiThOuT JaCkInG OfF" as if that fixed his problems, but didn't like me because I wasn't a ginger white princess (we're Latino, and not the "darker" kind, even) like the one he used to watch at [specific porn website]. "iT's JuSt a FaNtAsY, yOu sTiLl tUrN mE oN". Yeah, fuck off.

I imagined having two of my exes and having to smell his BO again. Fuck no

I'm pro sex too even though I suffer sexual trauma thanks to porn, and I'm also asexual. I understand that for some people, it is an expression of love and I respect that. But to compare porn with sex, god that's wrong. And they even have the decency to call you a goddamn prude.

That's awful, I'm sorry you had to go through that. Personally I decided to shave mine because I think it's cleaner that way, and because I'm a very squeamish when it comes to hygiene. Not because my disgusting ex made me do it even though he had a disgusting looking dick, and he didn't shower regularly. He had a fucking bush and his asshole was hairy lol. God I hate men sometimes

I'm so fucking angry at my friend for disregarding that organisation. I sent him a link to one of their articles and my stupid friend said "it's just retarded pseudoscience religious people pulled out of their asses. Nothing to see here". Then proceeded to shove 136 messages in my face saying how invalid and unrealistic their arguments are. I'm never going to talk to someone who studies politics. Why the hell would he tell me, a person who's not religious and is in a science career, that I'm a m…

And even if they don't end up coming back after the breakup, that's ideal. I would NEVER want to talk to my ex again if he ever shows up in my life again. He didn't want me to be happy, so I'm happy now.

Lmao when my ex pulled that shit on me, I told him that I wanted to have a threesome with a guy someday. And he hated me for that, told me "no way, no", they always think they'll get away with their bs. Thankfully I now know I'm asexual and that sex isn't my thing, I was trying to get into it (he didn't get to bone me thank god) just because he liked it and because I was a stupid kid. Thank god he was just a lesson in my life.

Yeah but it never ends well, I take it as like if I still cared about my ex and I just don't, and as I don't care, I don't think it's fair for me to know about his life, thus you shouldn't indulge in it. But it's up to you though, I'm just giving my opinion. It'd be different if the guy in question was a murderer/rapist though...

God I wish I could meet people like that. Everyone I know has had awful relationships, hell I even had one in which a guy, who was 4 years older than me when I was 16, groomed me into thinking that porn was ok and that his sick fetishes were alright. He had lots of redeeming qualities but I can't stop criticising him.

Don't. She'll know, eventually. I also don't trust people who are in a relationship with my ex because he's a walking red flag yet they're too blind to see that. They gotta learn, the hard way though. The way most people learn.

Amazing advice, for real. I'm a very talkative person on the internet so men often misinterpret my personality with "lmao look at how much attention she's giving me". No, I'm just wired that way. But I now know that I can restrict that.

Thanks for your comment! I've always felt out of place for having these interests. We just have to stick together as women in order to keep these guys out of our lives, I swear, most men with these interests are fucking creeps.

What if you're a woman and you're into electronics, engineering, videogames and computing? I'm one of them and I kinda hate myself for that. I attract lots of weirdos.

All kinds of IT are the same thing imho. There's not much difference between a sysops vs a machine learning expert vs, I don't know, a chem/bio IT professional. They're all the same thing because they've been in the same circles as other creeps. And I guarantee you that creeps are in all sides of IT.

Well, some of these "idiots" are necessary. Smartphones wouldn't be a thing without them. And most services also wouldn't be a thing if they didn't exist. Of course most of them are creeps, but you can't deny that we're important in society — even though you think technology is "invading" your life.

Hot damn this hits me like a brick. This was how I was like when I was with my shitty ex and I didn't realise how crappy and manipulative he was. He said I was a BPD "bitch" but he also sported a shit ton of symptoms as well. He was literally cutting everything out of my life, I was a mess academically speaking. He wanted me to get away from my family because he could support me financially if I moved in with him and he was 4 years older than me. Now that he's gone I'm doing so much better in ev…
