I'm not sure I agree that the sub is mostly populated with the likes of you, although the most vocal ones are just like you.

Seems like a really one-dimensional and especially spiteful way of looking at things.

Sometimes I worry about the negativity in here. Let's try to take the most benevolent interpretation possible and it becomes clear that she's trying to get a point across in a way her audience can most easily relate to.

Oh for sure they want equal rights. They just don't want equal responsibility, which IMO should be in place before an argument for equal rights can be made. If not, then the argument for equal rights has to come with equal responsibility too.

Thanks brother, this is definitely good to know!

Exactly. Self-actualization above all else.

"Values intelligence", "Ambitious", ... Nope. The profile shows none of that.

Loner 100x It's not so much that being a loner is nice (it's not) as it is not choosing to settle. If you can't have what you want simply because it was preordained somehow, then don't even play that game. There is plenty more in the world than just pairing off and being stagnant until you're decrepit, which in all likelihood, is what most couples do.

I think you forgot you gotta have a dog and be ok with them liking your dog more than you! That or if they have a dog, they'll always love it more than you... Yea I don't get why girls even say that shit on their profiles. Is that supposed to be funny? Imagine if a guy said that on their profile LOL

Anyone wanna start a betting pool to countdown the number of years before Seduction becomes a humanities subject with an Annals of Seduction journal?
/r/seduction29/12/16 02:25 AM

Yes, I agree with your thoughts on the ideal ages simply because at a glance, statistics show that marriages tend to last longer when the age gaps are smaller and intuitively, your succint summary of the situation makes sense. As for your original question, apologies for not answering it at first. With reddit being what it is, I wanted to find out the intent behind the question before possibly having to respond to many aggressive comments so please understand. The answer is I don't know yet as I…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/16 02:19 AM

So you do agree 20 year olds aren't always the absolutely most preferred age group.

Any store of information to which any number of anonymous, unselected, or self-selected people are allowed to contribute with little more than anecdotal evidence and wrongly interpreted scientific studies will have all these problems.

The comparison needs to be made with regard to social norms of the society that the person is in or else it loses all meaning because then there is always one person who probably has it worse in all of history and so by that argument nobody has any right to complain at all and that's clearly not true at all.
/r/MGTOW24/12/16 07:41 PM

I know some girls who go out and party but don't fuck much. On the one hand I am relieved, but on the other hand I am disappointed that they're wasting their time away yet not going all the way. Maybe it's just their Canadian nature to be not overly enthusiastic in anything...
/r/MGTOW24/12/16 05:43 PM

The reasons you listed are just rationales to back up your view AFTER you've already adopted that view. In the lack of evidence, this is as good as rattling off the first ten things off the top of your head without any prior consideration as to whether they actually make sense. If you want your view changed, I would simply point you towards Tinder and ask how your view accomodates that obvious counterexample.

I don't think most people spend close to even a small fraction of their time worrying about these things as it seems on this subreddit and the family of subreddits discussing these issues.

What's funny is that she can change her weight. Nobody should have any sympathy for people who are irresponsible enough to neglect their own fitness. Height on the other hand, well... not much you can do about it once the growing is done so I'm not sure it's even worth commenting on since it's not a reflection of a person's character.
/r/MGTOW23/12/16 10:40 AM

Nowhere did I mention "emotionally damaged". If anything, your comment is itself a strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/16 10:13 AM

What hamstering? I simply commented on the examples given. Had you given that example, I would not have said that. Why so mad?

What you see is true. However, it depends on your perspective. Whether you go down in history or not, your statement remains true so it's up to you to push yourself as hard as you can and see how far you can really go.

Very unfortunate, but true. Even worse is that when presented evidence that challenges their views, they will get offended as if it's a personal attack.
/r/MGTOW17/12/16 11:44 AM

Unfortunately, true as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/16 11:42 AM
1

Keep in mind the demographic on reddit. Lots if not the majority will have strong but simplistic views. Case in point, the comment saying "it's her body" etc. Because there's no accountability, people will just type whatever comes to mind and then justify it, instead of preparing a well considered response so that it puts the other guy's interests first. We can all imagine that if it were the 15 year old sister of those bashing you, they'd take a very different stance.
/r/MGTOW16/12/16 09:01 PM
2

Very much this. Without a firm anchor, the golden rule usually turns people into doormats.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/16 01:26 PM
2

Yea, thanks for pointing that out (and it's very accurate from what I've seen). That's a great example too, as I've noticed that guys usually find it awkward to receive personal gifts unless the friendship is very, very well formed. Usually, your presence in whatever activity is sufficient for them to appreciate you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/16 06:26 PM
4

Of all the comments here I think yours is the most insightful and most congruent with all my observations and experiences. There's a "threshold" that has to be crossed before say, a touch is considered flirting and most men who aren't used to female company will have a much lower threshold whereas those who are experienced will immediately know if the woman is just being friendly. Regarding the nice guy part, that's true too. I have friends who are in relationships and what not and while they do…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/16 03:44 PM

Lol. This gets more and more amusing with each reply. I guess trolls run out of steam too.

Ok, what kind of math do you study that makes you think AI will replace mathematicians?
/r/MGTOW15/12/16 08:57 AM

Nobody actually cares what you think. All you've been doing this whole time is making assertions for the sake of bashing. I can't imagine that kind of antagonistic attitude to be healthy in the long run so I suppose I should wish you good luck life.
/r/MGTOW15/12/16 08:54 AM
1

Hardly true, considering your timely replies. The latter's vacuously true, unless words had completely arbitrary meanings.
/r/MGTOW15/12/16 02:23 AM

So you wanna call the men who are divorce raped human scum because they made a bad choice? In other words, you wanna say a person who got screwed over because of their own bad choice is a scum?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/16 10:49 PM
1

Nope. I really didn't mean anything condescending in the original post. It was simply an offhand remark saying I could see the perspective from the other side. Your replies, however, are obviously meant to insult. I frankly don't care whether you think you're right or wrong. What you're doing - a monkey flinging feces - is so commonplace on reddit that it's really not worth getting bothered by.
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 10:45 PM
1

Ok.
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 10:26 PM
1

I'm replying to them because I got them as replies. You, on the other hand, went through the thread looking for my comments to reply to. Now if that doesn't scream issues...
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 09:46 PM
1

Lol. I must be doing something right if you got riled up enough to go through my post history. Anyone can phrase anything in a bad way of course, so what you said really means nothing. However, as I said, if you really need to bash others for release then so be it, enjoy yourself and I hope you feel better at the end of it all.
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 09:44 PM
1

Well, you're obviously just bashing for the sake of bashing. Don't know what you get out of it but if it makes you happier then sure.
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 06:14 PM
1

I don't get why you're so mad that you have to reply to every comment, but that tells me you've probably got issues.

I play games and read things on reddit during my study breaks. And I wasn't trying to be condescending in the first place. It was just a passing remark about how I could relate from the other perspective.
/r/MGTOW14/12/16 01:32 PM

Lol I didn't even mean in terms of relationships. I said -nothing- about relationships at all. I just meant in general in society. Implications aren't the same as consequences. One is a proper subset of the other.

It makes more sense to say NOBODY has a scientifically accurate, objective SMV. I hesitate to comment on the rest of your argument simply because as someone with many years of statistics training, that dataset is simply not admissible for making the conclusions that were drawn.

Lol that's such a stupid thought. These feminists are so self-absorbed as to think that their existence even factors into the decisions of others. Personally, ever since I've decided to pour my heart and soul into studying pure math, women are eye candy at best and it really doesn't factor into any decisions I make whether there's gonna be a woman somewhere or not. I don't hate women, but neither do I go out of my way to please them. They're still desirable, but that's so low on my list of prior…

What in the fuck... Do they know how much more they can contribute to the world by spending that otherwise wasted time learning and becoming good at something lol I wonder what these guys do in their spare time apart from standing around doing nothing -.-

What worked for me was just becoming really good at something and wherever you go, exude an air of dominance because you know you're one of the best at it.

I wake up, shower with generic (old spice, adidas, etc whatever is on sale) all in one body wash/shampoo. Use some exfoliator for the face and spectra gel. I stay unfit by sitting on my ass and doing pure math for 10+ hours a day. I guess the 30 min walk to and from class counts as "exercise". I'm clearly doing the minimum required to not look like a bum.

I grew up with no male role models in my life to learn from and my mother instilled in me from a young age the idea that any sort of interaction with the opposite sex must be strictly platonic until I'm an adult. This was of course disastrous. I turned to seduction to not only learn how to interact with women romantically, but more importantly to learn social skills and for personal growth.
/r/seduction05/12/16 09:41 PM

Yea for sure they only care about looks online. It's a -little- better on the ones where you can message first (like OKCupid and POF), but not by much. In any case, for me personally all this says is that the idea of everyone always being able to find a compatible partner is not worth entertaining if it's gonna take that much effort. In other words, I've decided to treat it as luck of the draw much like the genes I inherited, although that also means that if eventually I end up marrying some ave…

It depends. For example, the advice that one shouldn't be too invested when initially courting any one girl does make sense, whereas the view that AWALT (this is more MGTOW, but I come across this sometimes in TRP) doesn't seem to be correct across all geographical regions. IMHO the reader is equally responsible if he/she accepts bad advice without question. After all, lots of things factor into whether advice is applicable, for instance the demographic that tends to post to the respective subs,…

To say that RPers want all women to suffer is to say they are some kind of passive hate group, which is not true in general. They may use some extreme language when venting but I don't think they actually sit around all day watching women and then throw a party when one hits the wall. Btw I am for neither side. I think taking categorical claims to heart is not a good idea in general. At least not in real life.

I went to a store to buy jeans. The girl greeted me with such a huge smile and was all friendly and shitz... until I saw the price ($200 for a pair) so I told her I'll take a look around first. Insta-bitch face LOL Not saying all women are like that (how dare I make such a sweeping comment... reality isn't mathematics after all, oh silly me) but I don't think I've had such an experience with a male salesperson.

It's more like given the distribution of combination of characters, status, other circumstances etc and not to mention most important of all, compatibility, of all the people out there, it would take a miracle to match two people in the best way possible so that they both fit perfectly. I mean, first of all, it could just be that for any given person, the best possible match is on the other side of the country and there's just so way these 2 people will ever meet during their prime dating years …

Lol during my first undergrad degree I knew the 2 kids with the highest GPAs in my year and they each won their program's gold medal for academic achievement. One was a guy who was just genuinely a good person at heart. The girl on the other hand, would just show up to study sessions to copy answers and string guys along for help. You would not believe how fast the mask came off once she was done getting what she wanted. Just some personal experience to share.

Lol my mother said some pretty nasty things to me when my depression was at its worst. For months I just wanted to kill myself and even though she witnessed me not eating and neglect myself the whole time, instead of figuring oh maybe something's not normal here, she just decided to be condescending and belittle me. That was many years ago, but that was what opened my eyes to everything.

I feel like a lot of it's the parents fault though. Everywhere I look the parents coddle the daughters much more than the guys.

Then why did you answer it? That's such a bullshit response.

Yea just recognize the truth once, and that's it. No need to keep repeating it and burning it into your memory so that your life revolves around it. It should just serve as a reminder whenever you need to make decisions involving it.

Ikr. What woman is gonna dress up as spider man and drive you around town in a my little pony convertible?

Lol I was taking the long distance bus to go home one weekend. So I sit down and put my seat back and close my eyes for a nap. All I hear is some woman behind say "fucking idiot, he didn't even ask before putting it back". For the next 30 minutes she just kept muttering "fucking idiot". Yea, sure enough when I get off the bus, it was 2 horrendously overweight and chain-smoking women in their 40s or 50s.

As long as it's not malicious, people should be allowed to make fun of everything and anything. What's the point of living if every fucking thing upsets someone and makes them judge another...

My mother was the one who beat me for doing badly in school. That was at first. Then, it got to the point where any excuse would be used. Made me stay home doing practice problems since I was 7 LOL. this resulted in me having no friends whatsoever and having -zero- social skills growing up. Then, during the divorce, she kept trying to turn me against my paternal grandparents. My grandfather taught me math and English and took me to the hospital whenever I came down with something (I had a weak i…

Any one trait is overrated by itself. What's there to argue here?

To come to Canada you need to actually bring value man. That means you gotta be educated and have a skill set that's in demand, now that investment immigration is out of the question.

In regards to gender issues, it works the same way. Men do not >benefit from modern feminism. The constant shaming of straight >males does not bring equal benefit to both men and women. >discouraging men from approaching women benefits women, it does >not benefit men. Actually, in the long run it fucks everyone over. The problem with modern feminists is that they aren't actually representative of all womens' attitudes, but the changes they ask for DO affect everyone.

You know, just because someone says something bigoted doesn't mean they actually are deep down. I'm not saying Trump isn't. But lots of people are really superficial this way and think just because someone said something bigoted, they deserve a seat on the bus to hell.

that's so stupid lol so basically it's for people who don't want to grow as a person and just be complacent

The question is not whether it's possible or not. After all, an axe murderer can be a charming person and a president may talk/behave like a creepy bum. The question is on average, what does the hot guy get away with that the average looking guy would never even dream to attempt in any given number of lifetimes. Also, if one critiques the pre-selection in the Tinder study, then one must also accept that "in the wild", being good looking is itself a type of pre-selection in the sense that on aver…

I'm pretty disengaged. I just do math these days so any interaction I have is with some students and professors, but that's usually kept to a minimum due to the academic nature. Also not a party person, and my interests are too specialized so yea...

Lol my roommate insisted on having things her way around the house and her reason was "Oh I'm very particular about things." Eventually it just got so unbearable that I told her to not contact me at all unless it's lease related and now everything's back to normal. Peace at last.

When there's a will, there's a way! I wrote 4 midterms in 24 hours and survived. You can do this.

Castration is unnecessary brah. There's still all kinds of weird porn out there that probably no real girl would attempt!

100% This. I do this now in everything in life where I have nothing to lose. This has made connecting with people in university so much easier. Try to make friends in class but the other person isn't reciprocating? Move on and try another one. No loss to you but everything to gain. Wish I'd been taught this much earlier.
