Exactly, and it's not a good idea to execute offenders either like people think. If that was the case more of them would start k*lling their victims so they don't tell anyone about it cause they know they'd face the death penalty. I think all non offending pedophiles, male or female should be able to get help instead of being treated like criminals. If they have done something then yeah that's a different story obviously, but pedophilia is a disorder and that word itself doesn't mean the same thing as abusing children.

Also it's crazy to me that we have people calling us pedos for being attracted to 18 year olds when that's not even close to what pedophilia is, which is being attracted to pre pubescent children. And 18 year is fully grown physically. We'll never actually know if this is true but I think it's absolutely more 50/50 than people think. Men are less likely to report being assaulted and there's also rape that happens in prison and if we're talking about general sexual assault then men and boys are still significantly less likely to report it or be taken seriously. We also hear about more female teachers who are predators than male teachers.
