Just don’t put retinol near your eyes!

Yes, I’ve wondered if it’s intentional before and if he’s purposely trying to make me feel bad because it’s so strange. He has a very doting extended family that always compliments him on everything, even if it’s really just mediocre. I almost think he doesn’t realize that when people compliment things, it’s not always because it’s really the greatest, but because they’re being nice and realize you put effort into it. I wish he would do that for me :(

I have wondered before if he’s slightly on the spectrum. He can be socially awkward.

These are all good ideas, thank you. It’s tough because I know how important it is for children to eat dinner as a family and see their parents eating healthy meals together, which is one reason why I make such an effort to cook nice dinners. I agree he needs to see more clearly how this is affecting me. I might make food for my son and I and say that he can have some but I didn’t make it specifically for him. Maybe them he won’t feel entitled to make so many comments and will appreciate it more…

He did apologize the last time I brought it up. It seemed to get a little better for a few days and then pretty much went back to how it was before. Thanks for your input. I tend to hide my feelings sometimes, so I will stop doing that and let him know right away

Look at what you wrote and let his comments really sink in. This was not one off-hand remark while he was drunk, such as “other girls are hot and you could lose a few pounds.” The message sounds clear to me, whether he was drunk or not. Like another poster said, when someone shows you who they are, believe them. I have personally dealt with family members and a partner with drinking/anger issues, and although this is an anecdotal comment, my experience has been that if someone is saying somethin…

He has gained 90 pounds since you met?!? Gross. This man has no place to lodge a single criticism about your weight.

The way your husband spoke to you is reaching the same level as infidelity or physical abuse in my opinion. Not to be harsh, but he said he has never been attracted to you, and thinks of other women. If he hasn’t physically been with another woman yet while you’ve been married, he certainly has been with other women mentally. And the physical infidelity will likely come considering his intentional disregard for your feelings here. He may also not be physically abusing you, but this dialogue was …

The punishment does not fit the “crime” because there was no crime. It was perfectly reasonable for you to send him the number that way, especially while you were driving. Does he want you to be distracted by your phone while driving and be unsafe? Also, your husband should not be really be “punishing” you in the first place. That isn’t how loving, respectful and mature adults treat each other. He is not acting like a captain who is deserving of your respect in this situation. I’m not sure how t…

Your post sounds like a huge overreaction to me. OP didn’t even say that her boyfriend is going out of his way to befriend these women. It more sounds like women sometimes approach him, and he responds as a courteous and kind human being, which is completely appropriate and fine from a red pill standpoint. Red pill does not require men to ignore other women or go out of their way to be dismissive of others. He merely tells OP about the interactions in an effort to make her feel confident in his …

How do we balance “stopping it with the childishness” with the red pill women idea that it is attractive to men when women are child-like? This question is not to criticize your post at all—I think it has great points. I don’t always understand the idea I’ve seen promoted on here that men like it when women are kind of girlish and childlike. It seems difficult to balance with sexiness and maturity, which are also supposedly attractive qualities

This relationship sounds like it’s not worth it. You can find someone else who treats you much better and get married to that person before your current boyfriend would want to get married (8 years—a long time!). This sounds harsh, but if you really want to get married, you’re wasting your time by staying with him. Find someone who makes you happy and doesn’t criticize you constantly. Criticism is one of the leading predictors of divorce. I would end it if I were you, and end it fast. It sounds …

He really is an exceptional guy and I have no doubts about wanting to spend my life with him. Nobody is perfect, including myself. I just came here looking for some help in how best to direct my actions at this issue, and I’ve received some great advice so far. Thanks for your comment, but I know that this does not rise to the level of ending our relationship.

That’s an interesting approach and sounds like it could be very helpful in my situation. Thank you for your input! I can actually see how many times I allow my mood to be dependent on his emotional state. I think I sometimes match his mood. I will start trying to me more positive around him and see if that has an effect. If he gets worse, I will think more about the professional help aspect.

You make a great point that he is going through some big stressors right now. I see some of the steps that we’ve taken recently as being exciting, but they are definitely kind of nerve wracking as well. With Covid on top of all that! I will try to gently ask him about his mental health. He has discussed having some anxiety before, and he usually mitigates it with healthy coping mechanisms like exercise, delving into hobbies, etc. Maybe he is feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for your input!

Thank you very much for your advice. He was somewhat negative before Covid, but definitely not this bad. I can see how objecting would make him argue, or how pointing it out would make him not feel secure in being able to convey his feelings. I’ll try to adopt the method you suggest. Thanks again

I’ve read Lean In and it’s informative but I think Cheryl Sandberg’s books contain a lot of advice that is pretty anti-Red Pill

I think she reached the enabling stage long ago, especially when she didn’t file a formal police report on the day of the abuse. This is sad.

Wow. So basically a woman that is way less attractive than you relative to others of the same sex? Is this to theoretically protect against infidelity?

Today I made a beef and stout pie using homemade pastry, tomato paste with tomatoes from our garden, and my boyfriend’s home brewed beer! It was more time than I would normally spend making something, but it was so satisfying when it tasted great! I think my boyfriend enjoyed it ☺️

She just said that they’re not even actually together 😑
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/20 08:32 PM

So you’re not even together right now? If you aren’t actually with this man yet, considering changing your body for him is an even worse and more extreme idea. Don’t do it. You could change yourself and worsen your health just to please him without any guarantee that you’ll end up getting together. Definitely no. There are plenty of men who will appreciate you for who you are and find your body type very attractive.

Like the other commenter said, Asian or European sunscreens can be great. I use Neutrogena oil-free clear face spf 55 and it works really well for me. I would try some more out because it’s really important!

Retinol! It’s one of very few things proven to reduce and prevent wrinkles. It can be strong, so it’s good to gradually work up to it. I use Differin gel which does not require a prescription and is very affordable. Be sure to use sunscreen with it :)

This is interesting and makes me weirdly kind of sad :( How does a modern girl that has to work due to the economy deal with this state of affairs? Can you still inspire a man’s affection and reach that pedestal status?

That would make sense as her username is gimpgirl555. A “gimp” is slang for a sex slave who is almost always submissive. They often dress up in leather, chains, etc. A gimp is part of a sexual fetish that involves power and dominance. Very different than an average red pill relationship. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/gimp https://decider.com/2017/10/10/american-horror-story-cult-gimp/
