6	Tips for first pregnancy Not sure why, but this response brought a sort of new paradigm for me. My wife is going to respond to her sensory input, and all I can do is change the input in a positive manner. I'll just keep lifting, reading, and (now) being a dad. I prefer to cook (I'm better at it) and part of OYS means that if I want my house clean then I need to get off my ass and clean it and not be a whine about it to my wife.
