2	Leaving children at home Too risky. Sure it seems harmless but anything can happen too quickly. I have kids the same age and wouldn't do it but I have a buddy with the same age kids who does. 5	Quitting job to deal with divorce I did pretty much the same thing. BUT, I'm not sure where you live. I live in Ontario Canada and with the help of my doctor was able to go on medical leave. I had a good paying job for 13 years that I hated and was super bad for my mental health. I also had a wife that although I do love and she is the mother of my 3 young kids, I knew I couldnt stay married to. I did the 16 weeks medical leave and transitioned to EI.
