That's because they don't need to. Sorry to say this, but females are the privileged sex. Nowhere, ever, in all of history, has the "privileged" group bin' forced to work more. Well, that's men.

has nothing to do with actual economics. Did economics figure into the fact -- undisputed by historians -- that British capitalists stole the land of their subjects? That doesn't seem very fair to me. It's not exactly fair to say, "well, I'm gonna steal your land, then I'm gonna create a system whereby you work for me, and we'll call it capitalism, and we'll call it freedom." Ridiculous. capitalism has been around since around the dawn of civilization. Um, no. As stated, the term "Capitalism" re…

That's not true. Prove it. The term "capitalism" refers to the commodification of human labor and the extraction of surplus value via the capitalist. It has nothing to do with "free markets." The term itself was only coined a couple hundred years ago. If you want to talk about the glories of mercantilism and/or slavery then feel free. Honestly, I don't get why libertarians are so attached to the word "capitalist." Especially given that the word was essentially created as an epithet. Reminds me o…

Robber barons who used government power to secure unfair special treatment is not due to capitalism. That's strange. Because capitalism has never existed without the state. Anarchists or primitivists can argue that "we can do x" minus a state, and can prove it via examples. Capitalists cannot replicate this for the simple reason that stealing someone's labor requires coercion, and, over time, coercive forces coalesce into centralized armed bodies that we call "states." "Gary Nash describes Iroqu…

That must be why a study of the robber barons in the 19th Century determined that 90% had come from upper class families. That must also be why Africans, who work harder than any other people, and in countries like Sierre Leone get their hands chopped off if they don't work hard enough, are all billionaires. Fun fact: the term capitalism was coined by Karl Marx. He described it as "the commodification of labor," a system whereby people had the fruits of their labor stolen from them (surplus valu…

These guys think it was written by a woman. I'm inclined to agree: https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2015/07/22/bottom-of-the-barrel-cuckold-fetishist-or-spinster-hoax/ There are a few give-aways, such as: ”if she only likes sex with her husband or boyfriend, she’s boring and lame” No straight man would ever write those words. She's clearly projecting female desires and attraction triggers onto men.

The fact that she wrote: I'll never truly understand what it means to grow up as a white male and have these ideas and values immediately pushed on you. ...indicates a troll. Or perhaps she's just imbibed a little too much of the intersectional feminism.

those opinions are fringe opinions. No. They aren't. Have you ever read any feminist literature? Especially from the second wave? It's OVERFLOWING with attacks against the family and monogamy. Having said that, I do agree that the opinion of this cuckold is not representative of most feminists.

He is classified as having a difficult or spirited temperament. In other words, he's a boy. It honestly hurts me to think that my son might grow up to think that he can't express his feelings. That is the least of his concerns. If I had a boy and could afford it I would not send him to public school. He will be treated as a lesser being because he is male. Feminists will lecture him about "toxic masculinity" and try to teach him not to rape. He will receive lower grades for the same work. He wil…

There's actually an interesting history to this: Dr Lazar Greenfield, a US surgeon, was forced to resign from the presidency of the American College of Surgeons for daring to mention the mood enhancing qualities of semen in an article published in 2011. His remarks were incidental to the article, which was intended to be light-hearted.[5] Such is the degree to which feminism has infested the scientific establishment that even these gentle comments resulted in a massive backlash. women in third world countries suffer greatly compared to men there Yeah, no. Women are privileged compared to men in pretty much every society. You just have a gynocentric bias. This isn't surprising, since Western media overwhelmingly focusses on the oppression of women, which does indeed exist in many poor countries. The problem is compounded when dealing with an "enemy state," as war propaganda (American or otherwise) usually stresses (or fabricates) atrocities involving women and children.

Oh well, sometimes you have to be uncomfortable in life. Men have to do the approaching, women have to do the rejecting. Pretty good deal for women I'd say. Perhaps you should start a campaign urging women to approach men. I'm sure men would be thrilled with such an arrangement. Also, it's important to remember that females often misread these situations. Sometimes men are just being friendly and have no interest in getting into a woman's pants.

This is really about class and power more than anything. We've seen similar scandals in the US (Franklin coverup) and in Europe (Dutroux). Corey Feldman and other have made claims about power brokers in Hollywood. We're all aware of what happened in the Catholic Church. People with obscene amounts of money and power are able to engineer coverups of their crimes, and the media generally plays along. Attitudes can change when we change the narrative. The current model is based on debunked feminist theories. It is demonstrably true that scores of children are being abused due to gynocentric custody laws. It is indeed possible to dramatically change these sorts of narratives. As you know, many Americans went from "niggers are subhuman filth" to "African Americans deserve equality" within a decade. When that recording was released of male humpback whales singing romance songs, we went from "kil…

That's a very good point. Still, the stats are pretty clear regarding shared parenting/single mothers. Unsurprisingly, large numbers of post-divorce single mothers end up dating douche bags who end up causing even more damage to the children. In a minority of cases the new baby daddy ends up being an upstanding fellow. I think it should be sufficient to show that children are subjected to abuse due to current arrangements, and that shared parenting is the best option for preventing said abuse.

a real us vs them mind set is starting to develop in the gender wars Is this really a good thing? I understand that men didn't start this fight. We have no interest whatsoever in "fighting" females, and in fact find the concept repulsive (hence the success of feminism). But I'm not sure an us vs. them paradigm is the best approach, even if feminists demand as much. I also understand that men have little choice at this point. I understand. But do you agree or disagree with the premise that men and women are much more empathetic towards children than adult males? Might it not be more useful to emphasize the suffering of children under current gynocentric policies rather than men when engaging in these debates? Or do you think that it's more important to continue stressing male disposability, even if it is less effective?

It's a bit rambling but this may go down in history as the first rational essay written by a feminist about the men's rights movement. As others have noted, it is more than slightly bizarre that this comes from a woman who has previously advocated gendercide against men and boys. It may just be a matter of someone who was young and dumb and radical [edit: apparently she was abused by her father] becoming mature and sensible. Feminists cannot go on pretending forever that the MRM consists solely …

Bingo. Americans are particularly vulnerable to identity politics and inter-group conflict because they are a nation of immigrants. Capitalists understood this very early on, and deliberately played off workers against one another on the basis of race, ethnicity and sex. There are letters from the 19th Century from plantation owners in Hawaii discussing the "Japanese problem", which in this context meant Japanese workers agitating for better treatment. The owners responded by bringing in workers…

There were demands by first wave feminists and proto men's rights activists that all male juries be prevented from judging women accused of murder. The men almost invariably acquitted the woman or give her a slap on the wrist. The only time women receive commensurate prison sentences is when the crime is so bone-chillingly heinous that the protective instinct is put aside. Munchausen by proxy for example. Even then, the woman is often excused due to dubious "mental illness" claims. I'm not sure …

Huh? There are literally hundreds of websites devoted to teaching young men "game." Why would I waste my time doing something redundant?
/r/MensRights22/07/15 05:19 AM
2

My only suggestion would be to try to make it as much as possible about the health and wellbeing of the boy. If he doesn't want to "hurt" his ex then you could explain to him that she would be better off as well, as she clearly can't handle her current load. Edit: you could also point out that many couples come to similar arrangements. Mothers are more necessary in the earlier years, but fathers are arguably more important when puberty hits.

And finally post details of your blog, forum, youtube channel, e-book, where you specifically help men and boys navigate the dating, relationship mine field. Seems like there are plenty of other men already doing so. I do not object to teaching young men about female attraction triggers. What I object to is the idea that a man's worth should be gauged by his success with women. It's not a healthy attitude, especially given that women have a bad habit of valuing negative traits in their partners.

"Find his balls" is probably not a very fair appraisal of the situation. Men are often subjected to something akin to torture during custody cases.

Make no mistake, at the most fundamental level the CRUX of a man’s worth is measured by his desirability to women, whether he chooses to play the game or not. Pussy is the holy grail. If you're a 14 year old. Yes. Other people mature over time. On the one hand, Roissy acknowledges that female sexual selection tends to value shallow, sometimes even anti-social characteristics. Then he turns around and claims that said characteristics are the ultimate measure of a man. Say what? This alpha/beta st…

I've seen all sorts of libertarians and neocons who call themselves feminists. First wave feminists were mostly conservative Christians. And the right has its own forms of gynocentrism. I think it's important to empathize with other groups, including white men. Black men suffer severe discrimination in certain areas. For example having a higher risk of being targeted/killed by the police. However, the reality is that white men also experience milder forms of discrimination, eg when applying for a job at a company with diversity quotas. These issues aren't nearly as serious as the issues affecting blacks, but I don't agree with the premise that we should ignore/dismiss concerns …

Based on my own admittedly limited experience I have found that females are actually more competitive than males. There are several amusing "survivor"-type TV shows where men and women are segregated, and invariably the men become cooperative while the women become catty backstabbing bitches. At the same time, women have a sense of solidarity ("an an attack on one woman is an attack on all!") that men simply do not possess. It occurs in relation to men. Paradoxical but it's clearly there.

I am very sympathetic to anarchism. Even if it may seem "utopian" to some people, the anti-authoritarian impulse is always a positive thing. Anarchists were among the first to be targeted by the Bolsheviks and Maoists, and were also among the first to be targeted in the United States during various "Red Scares." Socialists focus on the coercive power of markets; libertarians focus on the coercive power of states; anarchists have, imo, a more compelling and nuanced critique of both, and ultimatel…

Elites are taking a huge gamble by artificially inflating female power. Females are already the more powerful sex and always have been. They don't need any help from the government. What was it Samuel Johnson said? "Nature has given women so much power that the law has very wisely given them little." All good points, well argued. Honestly, I'd be quite happy to learn that hypergamy is not primarily caused by biological factors/"hardwired instincts." But I remain skeptical. It's just so bloody rare to find a rich woman dating a lower class/lower status male. Almost unheard of. Our society is still pretty intensely gender-traditional. Feminism hasn't destroyed traditional gender roles, indeed it has often relied upon and reinforced them. Agree. Where men take delight in picking up dinners and vacations for their lower-earning spouses, women become resentful that their spouses can’t carry their weight. Talk about entitlement! Another apparent difference between the sexes is that most men don't view supporting their wives as a "burden" because they don't don't view them as utilities to be exploited for labor. Divorced men who are forced into cuckoldry are a different matter, but we're talking about mate sele…

This is what wealthy men do. Male millionaires (smartly) don’t seek out female millionaires because, to them, it doesn’t matter what…

Actually it's quite plausible. Studies have shown that women have in group bias whereas men do not (both men and women favour women). It's not at all unlikely that feminists project their own biases and perceptions onto men. Patriarchy theory may well be an expression of this tendency.
