Yeah, she was never mine indeed. Men are more prone to this kind of thinking, and even overlooking flaws just like I did just for the sake of stability and the idea that there is a women always having your back. But this kind of principled thinking is not how women think. They don't experience this feeling of loyalty towards partners and they most certainly don't overlook relationship flaws for the sake of stabilty, especially not the younger women. She didn't feel good about it anymore, and tha…

I know about all of this, that's the worst part, but I still keep falling into this trap. I always start out cool and detached but overtime I notice I start to value this person and I get tunnel vision or oneitis as they call it and I tend to drop my contacts with other girls. It's like I'm hard wired to behave like this while I know at the same time that it's wrong and that I'm going to get kicked in the balls in the end. It's probably also due to the fact that my social life isn't all that gre…

Yeah that could be it. I probably need to objectify her a little bit more in my mind and just go for it step by step.

I shouldn't tell her that.

Sounds like a lot of work but I could try. I was also thinking of just going for it and just leave if she wants me to stop or whatever.

That's also what my gut is telling me.

Yeah that's maybe a good idea. I was thinking about subtle actions to communicate my needs but I couldn't find any. And your strategy might do better than asking cringy questions about where this is going and all that other nonsense I try to avoid so badly. Asking for physical attention seems like a bad idea as it always is something that comes organically but it didn't in this case.. How long would you put up with someone so inexperienced?

Thanks for replying. I've tried the kisses to the neck already, but she just kept lying on her bed like a sack of potatoes if that's even an expression in English, doing nothing, which was frustrating. On our last date she gave me a kiss in the neck though but it was half assed and playful. All of the stuff I did worked in the past with all the other girls but it's always a dead end here. I'm also quite hesitant to go full balls on the table out of nowhere without a single instigation from her s…

Yeah, we've been seeing each other for more than a month now. I dismiss her tests accordingly with a smile, your response is pretty good though. I have the urge to try and explain myself sometimes which is not the right thing to do I suppose.

So what should I do if she asks to hang out sunday.
/r/askTRP23/10/15 02:48 PM
2

No, that's probably part of the problem. I don't have much time due to work, and when I have some time I exercise or hang out with friends. She takes about 3 hours of my time every week but I don't really have time to chase other chicks apart from that. Maybe when I'm going out but that doesn't happen a lot.

Yeah it's a really crappy spot to be in, sitting next to her with your semi boner watching some obnoxious shit on tv, and I already told her I hate tv a dozen times.

Yeah I'm guessing she's looking for exclusivity before sex, something I will never get into either way. I forgot to mention she's quite traditional, with strong family ties, from a more secluded and actually pretty backwards part of my country. This also made me give her the benefit of the doubt, but my patience is running low and I'm fed up with fapping.

Yeah I know, it's pretty bad. I tried escalating but I probably wasn't firm enough or whatever. I'm thinking about just putting my chips on the table when she texts me to hang out and say that I want to have sex or else this has to end.

Yeah that's what I should have done from the start, I guess I pretty much ruined it with this one. I came from a pretty bad place, I suffered from anxiety and depression until about 2 months ago and I'm still recuperating. I wasn't really in the right frame I suppose.

Having a relationship will be very hard for me now. I think the girl wants it badly but I am more skeptical than ever before. I honestly don't know how to behave unattached and still loving at the same time. Every time I commit a caring or loving act there is this voice in the back of my head telling me how I'm behaving like the same pathetic weakling I was before and I kind of shut down and stop engaging or contacting her. Whenever I do something trivial like sending the first text I get the sa…

I have male friends but I do need to reconnect with them, you're right. It's essential to have a good bond with your male friends, I forget that sometimes. I'll have some beers and laughs with them next weekend.

I haven't seen my friends in a while now, don't get a lot of opportunities to blow off some steam. Exercise is my major outlet right now.

Thanks for taking your time to write this. People on reddit can be quick to judge anyway. I've seen her about 5 times now, of which three times in a public setting and two times in private. In private I upped my kino game already and she was always very accepting, but I'm quite hesitant to keep going and strip her clothes off etc. I always had girls who more or less already had sexual experience, so it pretty much came from both sides which was way easier. With this one 90 % of the escalation co…

You sound pretty upset. I'm 25 and I haven't been a virgin since I was 17. Can you elaborate on your last paragraph some more?
/r/askTRP15/10/15 12:29 PM

Yeah she's definitely not plate material. I'll just have a good time and play the waiting game. I have other stuff to do also so it's not that big of a deal anyway.

My major red flag is status seeking behavior and taking social media too seriously. This consists of posting multiple pictures a week on instagram of the most trivial things, having a ton of profile pictures on facebook of her face, you guys know how it is probably. A girl I was seeing told me she would like to become famous and recognized by other people. For some reason this is a major red flag to me. If she goes out multiple times a week. I probably don't have to elaborate why that is. It all…

I don't think she's weirded out by sexual tension. She also told me she behaved very much like a boy when she was a kid, she also plays female soccer which is a sport ridden with lesbians in my country. Yet she also displays interest in guys I guess. Maybe she's a lesbian but she tries to date a guy she likes to act normal? I don't know if this is a thing but if there is no sexual attraction it won't work out.

Yeah I know. I'm not emotionally attached at all so at least I got that in check. I think I just recognize the mindset and attitude of a woman who has taken a dick before and I don't really see that in her, but I could be wrong of course. I'll give her two more dates and if she doesn't reciprocate by then I'm gone. Even if she's a virgin child, it's too much work.

Yeah, your last sentence is so important. To women it's more about the social prestige that comes with having a partner with a degree even if it is worthless. That's how modern society still works and women are very prone to herd mentality, as we all know. If all of her girlfriends have a guy with an arts degree, she's not going to date a plumber right.

My grandmother had a good saying about this. The sooner the fruit ripes the sooner it rots. And the entitlement really is astonishing. And also, almost all of the women I was in high school with achieved greatly in todays academic world. I, together with a lot of other guys, struggled to get through college with so and so grades. Yet when they open their mouth, for some reason, my brain shrinks and I think about how in the world they managed to earn that piece of paper. It's almost like school i…

This post hit home, literally. My mom teaches in a school for children with mental issues and learning disabilities. A lot of them are from poor backgrounds. She keeps on telling us about how hard it is to be around kids like that all day, to hear all the misery and sadness that's going on in their lives. Then after a couple glasses of red she starts telling jokes about those same kids, it's quite horrible actually. The funny thing is that I, as a man, am really moved by those stories and feel c…

I've been there man, and I've come out of it as a far better man, and you will too. Be angry for a while, and start checking out the sidebar posts on the rp main page if you haven't, you'll most definitely recognize everything you read. I won't go into that, but just read it. You made a grave mistake by putting all your eggs in one basket, so make sure you don't do that again, ever. Quit the self loathing, get out there and hang out with the few friends you still have. It's just an observation, in a sense that CC riding now looks like a good option for her but it will hit her on the nose later in life when the attention she is getting from men is dwindling because of age etc. You implicate I'm probably an ugly bitter basement dwelling neckbeard but to be honest, it's not the case. She's not even attractive or that relevant in music.

I had exactly the same thing going on as you. A massive inflated ego because my parents and other relatives always patted my back for being this super awesome person both physically and intellectually. Until this day they remind me of the fact that I could talk almost perfectly before I was one year old and that I'm probably the smartest person in the family, that I'm so handsome and good looking etc. This made me incredibly cocky in elementary school and high school too for a smaller part, but …

First impression is everything. The same happened with me. I was a pretty shy kid in early high school and I wasn't good with women at all, just a look of one of them made my face turn red and say some gibberish. Towards the end of high school I was becoming more of a man and objectively kind of attractive but to them I was still the same loser I was a couple of years before. In the eyes of women an alpha is born as an alpha.

Just wait for ten more years when she lost her physical looks, she'll become even more jaded and frustrated and we'll have a good laugh listening to the bitter rantings of a wall hitting skank.

Yeah perhaps you're right. This dude clearly had to pay for her gain, that's for sure. It's probably some kind of marketing trick from her part. Next month she's going to present herself to the world as a female lawyer who exclusively handles cases of sexism on the professional level and make a career on those my boss eyeballed me for too long when I was taking copies cases.

If he looked like Brad Pitt she would have been flattered. Terms like sexism and misogyny are thrown around pretty loosely nowadays. I'm getting fed up with this feminist fad and the artificial first world problems they came up with, like rape culture and objectification. What did this man do to deserve this kind of public crucifixion, seriously.

I haven't got any female friends either, from when I was about 13 years old until now, and I'm 25. I just never had the mindset to befriend women. I was raised by my granddad and his brother mostly until I was 12, and they were insanely rp, so I kind of learned from an early age not to accept bullshit from other people, be it men or women. When people around me are talking bs, I can never shut up and I have to get in there and burst their bubble, that's just how I'm wired. My friends are exactly…

HIIT is great indeed, and a great method for conditioning without losing muscle mass, but it only worked for me when I had a good basic level of fitness to start from, or else you'll get too tired too quickly and it won't do any good and really stress you out. My conditioning was pretty bad, and I started with long walks and light jogs and cycling to get my basic level of fitness back. From then on I had no problem with HIIT training.

Just grind it out man. I suffered from a severe anxiety disorder the last couple of years, and when I'm having a bad period, I reassure myself that everything passes. Your shit will pass too. You'll get through this no matter what, the only thing you can do is being proactive about things so you'll end this shit faster.

Yeah, it was odd the way she wanted it. There's just wanting it like a normal girl wants it, but the way she wanted it, jeesh. I was turned on and freaked out at the same time, and the latter feeling took over eventually. I'd lie if I would say that I didn't regret sex with her until days later just because I'm horny, which isn't the best state of mind for rational decisions anyway. But what would I have gotten out of that instead of an orgasm and maybe an STD.

She reminded me of my crazy ex who brought me to this subreddit after we broke up about 2 years ago now. She had the same characteristics which put me off immensly, even though she was hot. The ex who wasn't entirely out of the picture at the start, the crazy sex from the start, the idealizing and putting me on a pedestal and telling me how I'm so different and special and smart.. My ex was a borderline nutcase, and she had some obvious traits of that too.

Yeah. She told me that her former boyfriend threw her out of the house after a relationship of two years. She also told me that they didn't do much more apart from smoking weed all day in the couch. Yet apparently, she's still infatuated with the guy, probably because he had a house and really didn't give a fuck and dumped her. Yeah I didn't know what she was trying to do with that. Yeah, I had a feeling she not only chose me, but I also had a feeling she was idealizing me and putting me on a pedestal very quickly, and it reminded of my ex girlfriend who was a borderline psycho, she did exactly the same from the start.

Haha, I feel you man. The exact same shit happened to me the last week. I started going in full alpha mode not giving a fuck, next thing I start thinking I'm having this genuine connection with this girl, we make out and shit and I talk about some emotional stuff, she blows me off through text a couple of days later. I'm such a romantic loser, and it didn't help me one bit. It's all about falling down and getting up again.

How the hell do you do this. I always try but I slip after a couple of weeks. I look pretty good physically but I seriously have to pretend I have a different character to get girls, it's so goddamn tiring. I have to take 5 month breaks in between where I say fuck off in my mind to every woman I meet during that period.

I love my mom because she is my mom, but this is her exactly. She has a teaching job 2 miles from home and therefore a shitload of spare time on her hands, a job she can't get fired from because of our laws here in Western Europe and about 3 months of vacation a year, a car my dad pays for, a cleaning lady and whenever anyone else is around she delegates chores. Yet she gets a mental breakdown about once every month, complaining about her overly busy life. It's all about perception really.

Yeah exactly, I don't have too much else going on for me right now and it's killing me. Graduated and searching for a job, not working out enough and not going out enough and therefore no plates . Thanks for the response, I always come to rp if I want some good old truth.

Exactly. The sister of my best friend went to med school for about 14 years to become a specialist. She graduated officially about a year ago, with astonishingly high grades and credentials. Now she's working part time, taking care of her young kid, and she's probably happier than when she was a full time surgeon without a family. But did she really have to study all of her life to notice after about 32 years that taking care of her family makes her happy the most?

A lot of women around my age group (Around mid-twenties) have this mentality nowadays. They just want to live it up apparently, go to festivals, screw around, get drunk. Feminism thought them that acting like a man and pursuing careers and not committing will make them happy, but this is ironically not the case. A girl I was in high school with is the perfect example. She did everything feminists expected her to do, studying a in STEM field, she's a bio-engineer, and working for a large company.…

I was in a terrible place mentally for the last 4 months or so. Only the last couple of weeks things cleared up a little. What worked for me were eating healthy and plentiful, because I noticed I was undereating due to stress which made me even feel more miserable. Decent sleep does wonders for your mental health. Whenever you feel like your mind is starting to drift and you feel like you're about to say or do things that will put you in a worse position, take a long walk to set things straight.

Initially it started with isolated panic attacks. Outside of the panic attacks I was pretty much normal which caused me not to be as scared and the majority of the time where I felt normal and well I could work out or do anything which dealt with the isolated panic attacks. Now it's generalized and it's far worse in my opinion.
