Calgary just went through an economic downturn due to oil bust in canada. Could be an opportunity to buy into some cheap real estate but be mindful of the cyclical economics nature of the city

So you never had to overcome great adversity? Personally, I'd take a trip to a third world country. Don't be a tourist and stay at a resort. Rather get involved with the community, talk to strangers and go on some adventures where you're not comfortable. Idea is you'll be able to see and experience a difficult/impoverished lifestyle and work harder. Alternatively, go backpacking/portaging at an ISOLATED park (no electricity, roads.) for a week. Make sure you tell someone where you are going, hav…

I disagree. It's a pretty standard question to ask someone what their occupation is when trying to get to know them or having casual conversation

I believe the interest only accumulates on the FEDERAL portion during those 6 months. OSAP application is basically a free grab at the bursaries and grants they give out. (its a lot). even if you can get better rates/terms whatever, its still worth it to apply

What area of Canada will you be investing in? Can you obtain a mortgage? (Ontario lending laws changed recently to make it more difficult) How confident are you in managing this property? Will you be hiring a property manager?

Hi OP. I was in your shoes two years ago. I'm glad you've figured out what you want in life. Let me offer some insight. There's a reason why people believe in education. Seriously, go online and look at the demographics, namely income and education level of your neighbourhood and an ideal neighbourhood you'd like to live at. Most likely, the higher income households hold university degrees. Now it is possible to be successful without a degree but you will have to work equally, or more harder tha…

I think the point of "calling out" is to encourage these views to Catholics. They fucking love this man and will listen to what he has to say so I think it's a step in the right direction. You're just spewing shit for no reason
