It's really an issue of how vain they are. Women, esp younger women tend to be pretty vain. It's kind of a filter, if women are asking about how much you earn and concerned about how pretty you are, you should be looking elsewhere (IMO). All the pretty girls I've dated in the past have been very shallow, it's really a two way street, if you're just looking at pretty, then they'll likely be looking for the same thing. Didn't get any results so I stopped. It didn't change the libido for me. Looking back, I can remember the social pressure because of vanity. I was alway the 'pretty boy, baby face' and worked out, so the vanity was there. It's kinda strange that if your company hired some bald guy, nobody would think twice, but if you showed up bald one day, it would be different. TBH, vanity sucks. People just see a bald or light stubble head. The light stubble is less shinny. Using a hat from time to time is great as the sun can do a lot of damage. I was going bald and did the denial route for a while. Got tired of people looking to see "how far back does it go" ... or whatever they're looking for. You see their eyes looking up at your hair. People know what a comb over is, they know thinning hair, it's not new. I didn't shave clean, I shave to stubble. A clean shave (IMO) sucks because you have to shave every day or two.
