There are a lot of approaches you could take, but try this *one* thing: Listen more, speak less. Don't "speak less" in any kind of cold shoulder way, though. Instead, focus on eye contact, listening to what they say without feeling the need to respond, even when you get triggered, make your practice just to listen, nod, try to really see where they are coming from in their perspective. We all have a personal bias that we are the most right and the most intelligent and the ones with the most impo…

Yes, and don't say anything either about the things I'm obviously flaunting, or "you're objectifying me and I'm offended."

Like a gun, social media is a tool. Right? So it would seem the degeneracy was already present and the tool just made it more accessible. I'm not sure if it is just a tool though; since it's researched and engineered to appeal to the psychology of humans, this seems to differentiate it from other "tools." I think modern degeneracy has been happening for many thousands of years, and social media just reveals the lowest common denominator more clearly.

I certainly understand where he is coming from. Relationships are so important, family and friends. Decisiveness is a key trait of masculinity, and it sounds like maybe you are being the primary decision maker here; as though he is asking (pleading with) you to make a life change, but you won't budge because of *your* school. I would ask him to lay out a plan- what would it look like if you were hypothetically to move back to his hometown or close by? Where would you live, what would he do for w…

I've been reading and studying Julius Evola's book "Revolt Against The Modern World" in the evenings. His distinction between capital T Tradition and tradition is paradigm-shifting. (Basically, true Tradition isn't about wearing dresses and baking bread). I've been adding notes to my blog if anyone is interested: https://tiffany-davidson.blogspot.com/2020/03/revolt-against-modern-world-foreword.html Best wishes everyone ~

I'd be happy to. Do you mind letting me know specific bits you want me to elaborate on?

If you are a high IQ female, it's natural to have proclivities toward philosophy and exchange of ideas. I think the main thing you're getting at here though is essence. There are masculine and feminine essences in human beings. If you are seeking to embody more feminine essences, you can certainly still debate and be an intelligent female, no need to "walk on eggshells" either. But you must learn to infuse this with an elegance and receptivity. That is the real work. And, in doing this, you beco…

I run my own (very full-time) business from home and I still make sure to shower and get ready and look nice all day, despite. This includes cleaning the house, cooking meals, and exercising too. Some days I put on a real outfit, other days I just wear yoga pants or leggings with a sweater or blouse - comfortable house attire doesn't have to look slouchy (or be sweat pants).

To add to the list, I would give him a one-hour massage. Create an ambience in the room, and really go into full healing mode. And then, of course, finish with a happy ending :)

Of course. Feel free to private message me in the future if you want any further recommendations for specific tools that could help. Wishing you all the best.

That could be a very long list and would take some effort and time to really get specific. For now, I would recommend browsing PhilosophiCat's Youtube channel, particularly her Traditional Man's Path To Heroism & Traditional Woman's Path To Heroism videos as a starting point to discuss virtue together. (You are describing your husband as though he is more drawn to an Aphrodite female archetype and describing yourself more as a Demeter archetype.)

It sounds like what you need more than anything is marriage counseling. I think this woman might just be something for you to focus on when truly it's your husband you're displeased with. Something that might really help you both is to get on a similar playing field. By that I mean holding the same philosophical ideals. It sounds like you have certain virtues and moral beliefs that he does not share. This would involve watching things together (I can recommend specific YouTube channels and video…

Why do you feel you need to control this situation? It seems you want to monitor the success of this woman, her chosen lifestyle, your husband's response to her... Do you not trust your husband and his judgment? I have not a jealous bone in my body so it might be difficult to relate. But if I truly suspected something strange going on, I would simply have a chat with my husband. I would tell him how I feel (that I was concerned about her lack of virtue, or by bringing up specific things that hav…

The Red Turtle, Tales from Earthsea, and if you like anime and traditionalism, certainly check out Liziqi's Youtube channel :) Her daily life is very Studio Ghibli.

I empathize so much with this. I'm an introvert as well. I love spending time alone and just being quiet as I think about ideas, sort things out in my head, and just generally contemplate. I usually just let him know that I'm wanting to do _______ right now, and he's fine. Just be sure to give an extra hug and kiss and reassure him that it's not at all him :)

What a fun thread. Last night we had top sirloin steaks prepared with my delicious marinade and dipping sauce recipe (link: https://washingtonslastfrontier.com/blog/homemade-beef-jerky-steak-marinade-recipe ) along with a Greek style salad. Tonight I'm making butternut squash ravioli and a salad (definitely adding oregano to boost the immune system with coronavirus threat at the doorstep). Then, I have steelhead and a salad for tomorrow night. Thursday we're having this kielbasa soup https://was…

The post has not been edited or removed in any way, at least not by me. I've received two messages about removing the original post, but I still see it completely intact up there. So I'm confused! Great that you're on a budget-- a crucial foundation for meeting goals. I would organize a pantry, and include lots of dry herbs and spices and beans and grains. Learn to soak your beans and grains ahead of time and cook with them- it's healthier and cheaper. At TJ Maxx, you can find 5 lbs of sea salt for about $6. Best deal by far, and great if you're into prepping. You can also find pure castile soap there-- 32 oz for $6.99, as opposed to the $16.99 Dr. Bronner's. You might find some more ti…

I agree with you. In America, most of the women are very loud and have displeasing voices to boot. I find it refreshing to come across a quieter female who possesses a sense of mystery, elegance, grace, and intellect.

Personally, I find a reserved mysterious female to be most possessing of the feminine essence. I suppose it's a matter of preference.

I understand and have successfully come out of this very stage in my own marriage. Here are some key things to remember: Support is the best thing you can give him. He knows when he has messed up. You saying "I told you so" does not help whatsoever. I will tell you that since I let go of being critical, my marriage has improved ten-fold. In fact, it's a completely different marriage. Here's the best part-- my husband has become a happier man who is more relaxed, and motivated. And I have become …

Ha! I'm not always a fan of coffee tables, either. In my living room as it right now, I don't want a coffee table. But in other people's homes, I don't mind them. We live in a little seaport village and have an interesting Victorian history here which involves lots of old chests that came overseas or alongside travelers in the 1800's, so I *have* been considering finding an old chest and using it as a coffee table. Many of them are wooden with flat tops, so I think it'd be an interesting directi…

Hmm... I think it's appropriate to share this here. I just recently made a blog post sharing some of the things I've been doing in our home to make things feel cozy and to welcome Autumn. Interesting, I'll check her out. My husband always compliments me on my natural looking makeup, so I don't ever seek out tutorials, but there's always something more to be learned. Thank you!

I should mention that I'm drawn to other women like Jonna Jinton, Elisabeth's Philosophy, and Critical Condition (YouTube) to name a few... women who combine beauty, art and philosophy with their homemaking and domesticity. Who possess a gentle and inspiring nature. The brand of femininity I see from most American "traditional" wife influencer types hasn't hit home with me, and I usually find myself drawn to rural Eastern European or rural Scandinavian female role models. So anything in that dir…
