I mean, isn't that men's fault? Men find sexually available and adventurous arousing (even if they also think of them as less "pure" and therefore less valuable), so they encourage that behaviour through the media for (mostly) male consumption. Men who are similarly sexual are usually potrayed in a good or neutral light too, but only if it serves wish fufillment fantasies of being the desired bachelor who gets all the hot women he wants. Think Don Draper, that man had absolutely no self-control …

"Random approaches or online", so my point still stands. I feel like cold approaches at random are also highly dependant on context and having the finesse to read the other person for any micro signs of discomfort. Women react instinctively when approached by men while out in public, using previous experiences (usually with pushy, creepy and/or genuinely dangerous men) as their general guide. It sucks, but it's a but like you're approaching an animal that's scared of humans. You have to either a…

Honestly? That actually makes a ton of sense. It's always guys with a chip on their shoulder that have those kinds of takes.

I was under the impression than we were talking about dating in general, not only online. You are right, but I would argue that effort put in your profile is as important as looks though. I've seen the kind of half-baked, mean-spirited bios some dudes put in there, calling potential matches everything but childs of god. They look like they are more busy trying to not look like a "simp" and impress other men than actually coming across like a guy anyone would want to match with. The quality of ph…

I suppose they do sometimes use/fuck women they aren’t physically attracted to. The main difference is that a woman that might not have been all in attraction-wise can grow to love that man deeply, in mayority of cases a guy that settles for someone he consideres "below him" will always resent it and show it in some way or another. Usually cheating, amongst other things.

How so?

I mean, would these guys approach and date a girl they found unattractive/ugly? Because I know of women that gave a guy they weren’t initially attracted to a chance, but I can't say the same for guys. Also, most people out there aren't so ugly that absolutely nobody would ever fuck them. You might not have the ease of someone who is considered conventionally attractive, true, but there are people with weird tastes everywhere.

I suppose it's more of a "pick a struggle" kind of thing. If you know you are already ugly and broke, also having a shitty personality doesn't help your case at all. All the men you mentioned are either filthy rich (enough that women will put up with them for a check, regardless of how repeling their personality is), known for their looks, charming at a surface level (abusers usually are extremely good at reeling people in), or a convination of all the above. I'm assuming that, like most people,…

Honestly? I agree. It doesn't necesarily has to be 0/100 in division either, but yeah, if you're taking on something as big as a pregnancy and raising kids together then the man should step up both on the domestic and financial sphere.

As long as there are traumatized women desperate for male validation and naive girls with low self-esteem, there will be people these kinds of men can get their hands on. Also, even the most brutish of woman beaters don't open with "Hi baby, you like getting abused?"

I mean, what you're saying applies mostly just to attractive women or women that are willing to have sex early on/have one night stands. I don't have autism, but my female friend does and she has never ever in her life been approached by a guy. She's not ugly, she's average and sweet and comes off as "odd", and I've seen guys treat her in despicable ways because of that. The dating world is very hard on people in the spectrum, even the prettiest of girls just end up being taken advantage of. Wom…

Some people want to have their cake and eat it too. They are never happy with what they have and they just keep looking for the next big thing.

I mean, why do people cheat in perfectly happy relationships? It's usually a mix of lack of sexual discipline, selfishness, a lack of care about their partners feelings, and just all around the thrill of doing something they know they aren't supposed to do. That's the enticing part, I would assume. I'm not a cheater and I've never looked into OF, so I couldn't tell your for certain.

Yeah, I'm not sure on the numbers, but it's a pretty common thing to hear women complain that their male partner is spending money on OF or streamers and the like. It's like a known fact. Shouldn't they be too busy taking care of their female partner financially to have the money and time to spare on these sorts of things (acording to people like OP at least)? I doubt most of these guys are rich enough that they can truly afford to do both.

Where do men in relationships that still pay for OF models fit in this equation? Because they definitively are out there.

Exactly! There is no sympathy for women that end up getting into these types of situations somewhat "willingly". If you go a date with a guy that's a deadbeat and decide to look past that and he makes you a single mother, then these kinds of guys are not going to feel bad for you. That's why we have to look out for our safety first and foremost.

I would feel super unsafe and on edge. It's a wild thing to sping onto someone that you just meet, but at least I can admire the honesty. Better for me to find out now than five dates in. It would kinda depend on how far into the date I am, but I would most likely still attempt to have some sort of polite conversation afterwards and keep the date going. Maybe ask him more about his dating life, about this "scorned lover" of his, how his other relationships turned out, etc. If he manages to paint…
