A child is a child. Genital mutilation of a child because of its parents beliefs is abhorrent. It’s the child’s body, not the parents.

Legend! That was as delightful as I’d hoped.

Seems like this one's a troll. Your valid points have no effect here :/

So you want to ignore the fact that men and women are biologically different? If there was just "tennis", there would likely be few or (more likely) no women competing at top levels as the men would dominate the competition. When there are only male players due to equality, will everyone be ok with no women in tennis?

Do you actually have any basis for these beliefs or are you just making this up as you go? What in the world makes you think many animals aren't sentient??? What could possibility make you believe that there is some objective "value" placed on human life that makes it more "valuable" than other animals?

I'm genuinely curious as to why you think cruelty is less deserving of retribution depending on the species of animal that it's committed upon. Can you explain?

How many have you met and discussed their FGM with? I think you are simply expressing your experience of how our society view MGM as normal.

That's your story, not "the" story. A circumcision for medical reasons is something I fully support. I am talking about the utterly unnecessary mutilation of an infant's genitals.

Nice avoidance and dismissal of a valid point. Imagine trying to explain to anyone else why they needed to see the "other side of the issue" when it comes to female genital mutilation.

Why? It's an utterly unnecessary procedure. Just because you've personally had no ill effects are are used to it, why make it part of his life? Just let his dick be.

Not having breasts dramatically reduces the changes of developing breast cancer. So you're saying we should cut off children's breasts as soon as they develop? What a shitty argument that is.

I know it's old hat, but would I still be ok if they charged blacks a different price? Or gays? Or Mexicans? Or disabled people? I don't think society would accept that on any level now. Why do so for gender?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
