What is it about your story that invalidates my point?

Sorry but had a quick look at your post history and you say you don’t plan on marrying your girlfriend cause you don’t wanna be stuck with child support or have to divide your assets. Don’t you see how wanting an unemployed partner and also not wanting to provide them (and your child) with financial security is a big problem? You also said you were thinking of leaving her, in which case her and your son would be pretty fucked. Situations like yours are the exact reason courts side with mothers.

Same, except I wouldn’t consider Reddit a dating app… therefore they don’t bother me.

You don’t have to use them

Marriage is and has always been primarily for the sake of children. Especially in a pre-industrial society, children required the full time dedication of multiple adults in order to survive. It was/is beneficial for men and women too, to have someone alongside you to share the labours of life with. Up until recently, it was impossible for most people to live entirely self sufficiently, without the help of others, which is why we build families and communities.

Status driven people are more likely to post on tik tok, instagram and Facebook

You insinuated it. If not, then what did your comment mean?

Men like this who have children have managed it despite these traits, not because of them. A majority of men end up having children, both men like you described and men who are the complete opposite, so you can not assume that a deadbeat father is only a father because of his shitty characteristics.

Laziness, entitlement and incompetency are very unattractive things in a man

Honestly this is my dream. I long for the day people stop paying attention to me.

Don’t pretend you don’t know. Men refers to humans. Females does not. That you chose to differentiate shows clearly your view of women.

Always the “men” and “females” in the same sentence. It’s quite telling.

It truly wouldn’t. A punch is not sexual no matter where it is directed

This post actually highlights how many people don’t know what sexual assault is. Getting kicked in the balls, like getting kicked in the vagina, would be classified as regular assault because it is not a sexual act and there is no sexual intent. Getting groped for example would be sexual assault.

It’s to prove he is able to support her while she is taking care of a child. Pretty simple. People don’t consciously think about it that way, but thats the reason for the tradition. Nothing about who is better than who.

Exactly, as a women I feel like this is the default outfit I’m supposed to choose. I kind of feel like I’m going against the grain when I wear loose and subdued clothing

In the case of cheap sex, there will be way more demand than supply. The answer will be human trafficking. Is that worth it to you?

Why bother asking when you know you won’t believe the answer?

Honestly a man having a high number of partners is a red flag and a turn off.

You might end up getting fired for making such an outlandish request. If you don’t want to work with women I would suggest getting a job in which practically no women work

But I agree with this aswell. I never said I didn’t. OP however was talking about fatherhood
/r/MensRights28/09/20 05:23 PM

You consent to fatherhood the moment you choose to have sex with someone. Even with contraception the possibility for pregnancy is still there. With this in mind you should only have sex with people you would be okay having a child with. Either that or get a vasectomy

You contradict yourself by saying most female EMTs are awesome to work with but don’t want t work with any because of a problematic few.

You make a good point and are right that the responsibility is shared. Pointing fingers is generally counter productive and it’s easy for one to tend to only their side of an argument. Thanks for the discussion

The very headline stresses that these homes are fatherless and that is the reason that the children struggle. By being absent they bear the responsibility for those short comings rather than the one who stayed and is trying to do it all. If you stopped going to work for example and your workplace suffered as a result, who would be at fault, you who didn’t show up or your coworkers who couldn’t manage to pick up the slack? Also I don’t think that by saying children need presence and guidance from…

Well with the father being absent this means that most of the time the mother will be absent as well trying to make enough money to support the household. In a normal 2 parent household the mother would typically be more available to be there for her children and raise them rather than trying to juggle to responsibilities of 2 people. The result for the child is that they will often find themselves alone and wind up going down a bad road

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
