Can you name a time in history when a marginalized group of people asked to be treated with respect, people refused because they shouldn't have to care about people's feelings, and those people ended up looking like the good guys? Thousands examples of those people looking racist, xenophobic, sexist, bigoted, and hateful. But not one example of looking back and saying 'boy, I'm glad we treated that marginalized group badly because of how they identified' I'm sure you're right this time though...

'They' has been used to describe people since English was invented. The slippery slope argument is so bland. It's like saying 'if we can't say the n word, how long will it be until we can't say any words?' Treat people with respect. It's a simple rule. If they want to be called 'they' you do it. There are many people that prefer not to be a gender and they are not hurting anyone.

The discussion shows that even back in the 1700’s women were trying to limit men’s freedom and stop men from living as bachelors. My wife always insists I don't live as though I'm a bachelor. Apparantly going to the bar to meet loose women isn't acceptable to her so she is limiting my freedom. Women amirite?

The slippery slope argument is so played out. If you want to refuse to call someone nyanself, them go for it. No one will be mad at you. But 'they' is pretty basic and very easy to do. So refusing that one is just you trying to be difficult because 'it wasn't like this in my day'.

If it's as simple as saying 'they' because they don't subscribe to a certain gender. Yeah. Absolutely. If their name was Michael and they say they went by Mike... I'd call them Mike. I wouldn't be mad that I had to accommodate them.

Whats wrong with being on antidepressants? It's certainly better than leaving problems untreated or not seeking help. Likely reduces the suicide rate in wome too.

Women aren't asking why men aren't dating anymore. The quality of men that are leaving the dating world is not exactly the best stock. It's mostly people that have anger towards women and pent up hostility. No one reads stuff from the MGTOW or Incel subs and thinks 'I wish they were actively dating'.

I also think all these negative things about women. Perhaps we should start a club to further discuss these concepts. Something like 'he-man woman haters club' to discuss manly things like what we don't like about women. Let's pretend it's a club for equality and rights while we are at it.

Do you think 'they' and 'master of the universe' are the same? Are you trying to make a real point here? 'They' is a regular pronoun used to refer to people all the time. 'Master of the universe' is a grand title you created in an attempt to show why you shouldn't have to respect peoples preferences.

Your highness is a title. 'They' is a pronoun. Comparing them really does just show how illogical people are when they are upset about this. If someone's name was Michael, and they said 'please call me mike' you would do it. But if they want to be referred to as 'they' it triggers people because Hannity told them to be triggered about it. People like that are so easy to manipulate and scare.
