Interesting stuff! I'd imagine that there are other more important influencing factors here such as sociology economic class (fathers who spent long hours in mines, factories etc would have less time available to be with their children ).

Yeah, the race aspect will almost definitely be the main thrust. But this is probably fine because it all ensure the story gets wide exposure. People's familiarity with the case will make it a good case study to refer to when discussing the gender/ false raoe accusation side of things.

While the BLM movement is helping to put some important issues on the table, I am unimpressed with some recent tactics by people using the banner. Yeah I find that he sometimes takes an overly caustic approach in such exchanges. But he tends to make enough solid points clearly enough to counteract the opposition. I actually found the interviewer to be pretty good, she allowed him long uninterrupted segments to talk and some of her comebacks were reasonable. I enjoyed this discussion overall.

I'd fall into applauding her in times past. But now I'm realising that this kind of view sees men as only being of worth if we're providing for women and children. For me, while that is indeed one aspect of being a man - first and foremost, men should respect ourselves for who we are and not just for our ability to provide for others.
