In USA you can get married at 12 in many states... Dude a 17 yo isn't pedophilia. In Sweden we have gender neutral conscription. And you tend to place on positions due to your test results. That means that if a man and a women both qualify for a desk job they get that, and if the both qualify for infantry they get that. And in other countries the definition might be to wide. And it's still up to the country to report it's statistic they can easily include other things. If eg. The UN would ask for a report on rape they will include what they want it more precisely. Countries like Sweden for example is half jokingly called the rape capital of Europe. You know why? Our definition of rape includes an extremely wide array of sexual crimes.

I'm not in the UK and have way to little knowlege about UK law to even try to get a grip of why they do what they do. But to many people here seem outraged that the paper won't call it rape. And by UK law it isn't rape, it's sexual assault or a similar crime. We can and should be mad about a law that is old and doesn't work with the modern world. But to scream at The Sun will most likely not gain much sympathy to such a cause

Yes but different sentencing would occur with or without the terminology and is a different type of problem that exists for many crimes and i many countries. Women getting lighter sentences often had nothing to do with the crime they commit.

Not only that but dubai often deport foreigners who brake their strict laws instead of jail them due to not hurting the turist mecca that it is. I'm not arguing men have easier to become stronger the females. I'm arguing that the statement was bad becouse it only said I want a male over female to save me. But at least in sweden all firefighters have to pass the same tests, for example one of the tests we did was dragging out a heavy doll from a building. At least in sweden firefighters have to do the same tests and complete them. The tests are made out to mean you should be able to drag out other firefighters with full gear on. If a non firefighter is over that weight it becomes impossible anyway.

Oh god no, anywhere from 0-4% (it wasn't 5 it was 4) can be becouse of a number of things, it's just that we can't reliability calculate that. But it's not becouse of experience, type of work, education, amount of work so it becomes harder to find out why there is a difference.

In many jobs in Sweden you don't negotiat sallary yourself but it could be that. The last % is after standard weight. So it could be anywhere from 0-4% that is the real wage gap. It's just that we can't calculate it reliable.

Sorry it was 4, I looked it up, and yes it can be, but it's not explained. Without the standard weight the wage gap in Sweden is about 10% , then you account for type of work, age , amount of work, education and it goes down to 4%. In Sweden our Unions have a tendency to negotiate our pay raises so it's not nessecerily that. Standard weight isn't an absolute number, it could be less the 4%, it's just that after those calculations it becomes impossible to do a fiar counting.

At least in Sweden they did a realistic wage gap comparison and after removing all those things it ended at like less then 5%. Those last remaining points was what couldn't be explained. Those are the numbers that we should work to remove. Not the fake numbers
