Yes, I told him that I understand that he is going through a rough patch. And that I didn’t know he was struggling with how much time we were spending together. I said that I was happy for the amount of time we spend together to go down to something more manageable. He said he just doesn’t think he can be a good boyfriend right now and does not want to disappoint or hurt me. We are supposed to meet up as friends in a few days to spend a little time together.
