No, problem.. I can't really speak for all women, but I can assume some commonalities of what human beings like.

You sound really cool, first of all. If you could help teach women to calm their own anxieties and feel better about themselves on their own regardless of what men think of them, then i think pick up artists would have more respect from society. I'm no "studied" expert on picking up girls first of all, but I'm not sure if that matters since I am a woman myself. I think the steps to possibly get my number in that situation would be: 1.) Stand up straight and say "hey" while smiling warmly. Or ask…

I might want to try that rule. I once asked a guy out for coffee got a yes and he got my number. Next, we had finals, i had a 3 month vacation, came back..not surprisingly, we didn't have a date. (Although I would say that the cause was him not being into me.)

Not to mention the host of it is also fantastic about getting good conversations out of people.

I'm happy for you, but make sure to not let her get you down if things don't go perfectly. You've made progress in putting yourself out there. Focus on that pride.

You already swing dance so you're by default already awesome (coming from a girl). A male dancer is a rare treat. Think up a list of things to ask her about herself to get her talking. When she taps into something get used to interjecting something that relates to what she said, a question for more info, or mirror her words slightly by sort of repeating what she said. It shows you are a good listener, and that's awesome in a guy. So you'll have stuff to talk about : Read cool books. Read lots of…

If she knows or suspects that you were picking up on her it will be hard to be her friend. If I were you, I'd go ask out some other girls out or buy them drinks at bars and really debate on whether this is worth putting another person through stress over, when there are lots of beautiful available women down for fun.

Student too. Asking a person to study or saying you are making a study group at a certain coffee shop or easy to get to location might work. Naturally if they want to participate you'll get their number.

Also, if he keeps up the healthy positive attitude I think his confidence will lead to success if not with her with someone else.

Even if she does flake I think he did the right thing of just getting it out of the way. In that scenario, either she was going to flake immediately, or she would have flaked after he had maybe gotten attached and had spent a lot of energy on her. Flakers gonna flake, man.

I think that woman can have that vibe depending on the guy and how far she's going. I'm definitely watchful of overdoing innuendos (although my innuendos usually insinuate that I'm attracted to a person, not that I would like to bed them that night). I've heard guys complain about other girls being creepy, so despite me being a pretty chick, I don't think I'm above potentially being off-putting to people or creepy if I do the wrong thing. Women don't get a free pass to disrespect people's bounda…

You totally hit it on point man. No one likes when someone keeps going despite them showing signs of discomfort and no one likes it when it feels like they they are being used to get something out of them.

Question for OP! How are you in the friend zone if you're already screwing the girl? Or do you think this before you get there?

I think a lot of people generally just stop talking when it comes to online or texting communication. It is kind of societal. Everyone is available all the time, and it is easy to be constantly socially stimulated. I hate to say this, since it goes against my kind...but sometimes it helps to leave people wanting more. I'm horrible at this, but I think its the reason why girls tend to go nuts over jerks. Jerks are often guys who treated her amazingly till they knew they won her affection (and the…

What's wrong for you about the girl being intimidated? I'm a chick. The intimidation is my problem about a guy if I'm approaching for some reason. Otherwise, I don't think a chick who is interested in you is going to shoot you down because they were intimidated..they might if you happened to come off as a sleazy player though..but I doubt your looks are hindering since you would normally be the one doing the approaching. It just doesn't make sense. If you are decently fine in all other departmen…

She will mind when she finds out that you think of her in such an unflattering manner. She will also mind when she realizes you've made her out to be desperate for sex and talked about her body like it was a slab of meat. If I was her, I'd probably smack the shit out of you, not fuck you. If you were just considering casual sex, I wouldn't advise against it, but the fact that you're so disrespectful when talking about her makes me think you should probably go jack off by yourself until you've ga…

I'd say its just like walking the park except with random animals popping out everywhere. If you have something to talk about (as in you already have chemistry with this girl) you should be good. Bring a jacket so you can do the manly-man-give-her-your-coat-thing if it gets cold (if its cold where you live..). Point out if she starts acting cute around the baby animals. If things go well, ask her if she wants to get food after.

I wouldn't text her or contact her through her Instagram. If you must, do it one more time a few days from now. Then scratch her off your list.

I would say don't if you're that worried about what other people think. She deserves better than being used by a guy who just thinks she's "kind of attractive, but ugly to everyone else". Seems like you won't treat her as an equal.

Pull your bed and furniture a few inches away from the wall , decorate the sealing, get rid of small clutter, get a few mirrors of different sizes to decorate the walls with and one art piece...um..a rug could look good, get some extra throw pillows for the bed (chicks dig pillows, man), find a way to create warm light..

Yeah, I agree with just being open with her. You shouldn't act in any special way to give her hints, persay (like being a prince in bed but a dick at all other times in life). Just flat out tell her.

Sounds completely reasonable to want to keep things light for a while after a long term relationship. Well, you don't know what they are thinking unless they say it and they'll only say it if someone opens up a conversation. Be wary of just trying to read women, they don't really think like you do. A lot of us like to talk (on and on and on...). That doesn't necessarily mean that they have unrealistic romantic ideals because they are texting you a ton. They could just easily be getting into conv…

I wanted to add that what you do depends on where you think the relationship will go for these girls. If you are trying to find a GF i would suggest you date one person at a time. It would be super fucked up to treat two women who invested time into you as option A and B. However, if you're just out to have fun and no commitment I think its fine to date multiple people.

No, you don't start eliminating them if you like them. They didn't do anything wrong. Just chill and tell each of them that you're trying to text less..then just turn your phone off and relax (simple). Make sure they all know you're casually going on dates with other people too. Communication is key. If you're busy and need some time to relax on your own, women can understand this. Also, if you're only dating a girl, you don't have to do the type of upkeep you would with a girlfriend. I understo…

III is interesting if I'll be immodest enough to say so. I haven't read much of him. Did i mention Dean Koontz? He's pretty badass. One book I read recently that I found extremely interesting was "The shallows". It is about how internet has affected the human brain and behavior. It has made me rethink the way I spend my time a lot.

Oh man... Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark, mythology, occasionally something fantasy related, lame self help books... I'm pretty open to whatever.

A guy that would charm me a lot would first just have chemistry with me (sense of humor), would desire self improvement and learning, and would be motivated to try new things and excel. It isn't a desire to see the guy make money to latch on to him like that. It is a desire to know someone that will push the envelope with me. Bases matter. I could see it being harder at a community college rather than a 4 year. Probably more people are from that local area, so they haven't broken up with old BFs…

You probably haven't met them because you're 19(I'm 23 so not like i can brag for knowing a lot more). How many people could you have possibly really met and really gotten to know at that age? I think girls who are into your hobbies are around, but you'll have to go through party girls in the process. Your dates sound like the type of dates I would rather go on. I am not in favor of drugs or drinking, and i'm into engineering so talking about my research to most people kind of makes them tune ou…

I do look nice most of the time because I take pride in my appearance just like a lot of men do, but I've also went out looking pretty bad. I'm not saying that the motivations you speak of don't exist, I'm saying your widespread generalizations are inaccurate because you state them as if they are god given truth. In reality, exceptions happen too often. Women are people. I already wanted to be a scientist and to accomplish a ton of things as a small child before I ever knew men could like me and…

I can guarantee you, when I work in my lab and I have a giant white lab coat and goggles I'm not improving my physical attractiveness. When I write blog articles or scientific research papers I'm not adding to my physical attractiveness. When I do popping freestyle dance and I dress like a guy: not adding to physical attractiveness. When I lay in bed watching anime and my hair is hideous, and my face is covered in acne and I'm actively not giving a fuck about what anyone thinks it isn't to impro…

These seem a bit mean. "Well, lucky dog!" would make a girl smile, I think. Ask a polite question about him...and then just continue small talk is probably a good bet...then politely excuse yourself to talk to someone else will leave a decent impression even if it comes to nothing. I don't think a lot of women would respect a guy who's determined to convince a woman to cheat. In the end, you might just be remembered as an asshole.

She needs help in a way that relationship will probably not fix. I mean therapy, time, and her working on herself. Even if you guys go further, i can't see it lasting or turning into something healthy. You now have baggage having to do with her. You won't really be able to trust her now as a date or GF. However, it just isn't cool to take a girl who's been treated like shit and then to give her an ultimatum that you'll not be her friend anymore when she just said she was upset about feeling atta…

I think I'd prefer a time where it wasn't going to get dark super soon if I didn't know the guy very well. Other than that, the time should be conveinant enough to where I'd have about 1/2 an hour (typically I think women should have more) to get "on my game" with the makeup, or the talking to myself to not freak out, or the all important task of second guessing my outfit...So find out how busy she is that day so she has time to get herself composed in whatever manner she does that.

Ha, you almost sound like a male version of me. I want the same thing (although my need isn't for companionship but relief from caring too much about what men think of me, and sometimes, sadly, feeling like their opinions of me are more valid than my own), and i'm actively pursuing it. I think the study of acceptance and contentment (plenty of books and guides have been written about this) can help. You might have a fix on wanting to be with a woman, but almost everyone has some other external f…

My personal bias here: "Dancy" is right, but let's go a step further. As a woman, I would absolutely love it if a not too drunk guy I liked asked me to dance with him (and he was decently good i.e. not just grabbing me and humping). A man who has learned how to dance and be comfortable with it is a treasure. It is something that has fallen out of practice ever since public dances, balls, and discos fell out of favor for the prime way to meet the opposite sex. Nowadays we get away with just texti…
