It's not like fat people are a massive drag on society, it's not like fats act in completely unjustifiable ways in all kinds of situations You realize this is the exact same rhetoric that every other hate group uses, right? Like, post this in stormfront and everyone is going to agree with you. You can justify hating anyone with these two points. I'm really not sure what would convince you from here. You look at all these other people who hate seemingly random groups, they all use the same nebulo…

When the underlying cause is that you want to bully people you're going to find someone to bully no matter what. Any excuse you have for why you chose your target is just that, an excuse, and you would be bullying someone else if it were more socially acceptable to do so. When they're asked why, they shouldn't respond "Oh, it's actually to help fat people" it should be more like "Oh, it's because I feel like I have very little control over my own life, and the idea that I can have some degree of…

I always like following the FPH comment threads. First post gets a ton of upvotes, and then it cascades down pretty quickly as people realize how hilariously bad these arguments are. I feel like it would go better if you guys didn't to pretend that you're trying to help people. Just own up to the fact that you like bullying. If reddit existed 10 years ago, you would be making fun of gay people, but that isn't socially acceptable anymore.

I don't get where so many people get this idea, the percent of innocent casualties hasn't increased significantly in the shift from airstrikes to drone strikes. The big difference is drone strikes being incredibly publicized.

Sorry, I made the comment before fully reading the article. edit: Idk why faet is being downvoted, I'm the one who failed to read the article thoroughly. (s)he is completely right.

Engineering fields pretty much have the highest starting salaries out of any of the common majors, and most engineering fields are like 90% male. I'm pretty sure that alone would count for an extremely significant wage gap a year out of college.

That's a pretty big assumption, if your entertainment time is split between watching netflix and pirated movies, less pirated movies just means you would be watching more netflix. I don't see a third party being victimized in this scenario.

Since you've heard the argument over and over I'm a little bit surprised you haven't mentioned the refutation here. If I'm a broke college student I wouldn't be buying whatever I'm torrenting either way. They wouldn't be expecting profit from me in the first place.

Just going to throw this out there, maybe it serves an actual purpose? My guess is that the average man is less likely to die or be seriously injured if hit by a car than the average woman, we tend weigh more, and we tend to be taller, both useful traits if you're hit with a car, and someone is going to have to stand on the street side unless you want to start walking everywhere in a line.

Even if he is a troll, or this is fake (I'm not saying it is), if this were a completely hypothetical situation his point would be equally valid and should be discussed as such.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
