I don't really know what preselection is but I can sort of describe it: If a girl can see other girls are attracted to you, you must have some level of attraction. In reverse, if you don't have any girls that like you there must be something wrong with you. For example, if you hang around with a bunch of girls then approach someone, you would get a better reaction from her than if you approach her without being around girl friends.
