Well, no. WIC was not designed for single women. It was intentionally for the 'husband walked out' or an abusive husband. I grew up volunteering with WIC in a conservative area. Single mothers using WIC services in the church were shamed. But WIC has been moved out of the church and so has the shame.

WIC was specifically created to help women who were betrayed by a man they were dependant on. It was not created for women who are too afraid to depend on men.

Boils my blood they mention the reason for the assault being meme level insults. Makes it look like the local police treats womens emotions as more valuable than the mans.

Y?? To them ... If you aren't feminist, then you aren't a REAL woman.

Girl, masculinity isn't purpose driven but creation driven. Men build, women maintain. Both genders are deeply drawn to purpose. Separate purpose from work. They aren't the same thing. Drive isn't masculinity, it's passion and person. It's how that drive plays out. Don't you think it takes some drive to raise 10 kids? Some days it takes drive to get out of bed. Femininity expresses drive in feminine way or tone, that's all. There is a reason a lot of rich wives run successful charities.

I've been wondering when the vegans world bring race into veganism.

Well, ask women for advice just banned me for this comment. Do you know of any safe spaces on Reddit where non-feminist women can speak that isn't male-dominated?

There is no such thing as a male slut :( so I gave you equivalent.

A male slut offers companionship and eludes to commitment only to ghost when it's time to fill those roles. May or may not have more to offer but he will not offer more. 'I'll always be there for you' but aren't actually there when it's time. Entertaining conversations about marriage and kids knowing that will never happen.

I'm very surprised to see no comment pointing out this obvious fact. Sure, some are picky but some of those 'picky eaters' are recovering anorexics. People with EDs are used to not eating while other people eat so it's not as awkward for them.

It's a trait of eating disorders or those who have previously struggled with eating issues.

Nah, this is true. Every female I know that uses daddy in bed started having sex young and engages in FWB, one-night stands, etc. It's hard to say that when you have a real father figure and/or a good relationship with real dad.

If men aren't protectors or providers then what role are men biologically described to play?

😂 @ people online saying 'i left the matrix' when we are imprisoned in human bodies, stuck in 3D and unable to control our need for food and sleep

Single mothers do live better than single women, even in availability of homeless resources. We are already there but single women don't know and single moms keep the benefit to themselves. I had a terrifying moment last year when I realized I would be richer if i sugar babied and/or if I were a single mom after reading "promises I can keep.' I've sat around with women talking about how unfair it is we are told we are better mates with less intimate partners but all the easy women get wifed, fre…

Rich, liberal, white men are marrying single mothers nowadays. I know brain surgeon marrying 30 something single moms in Maryland and a software manager in the Bay Area marrying a mom with a 12 y.o. boy.

Business is the #1 most common degree for women in 2010, #2 clinical health sciences. It's hard to listen to your argument when you are still talking like a boomer about 'Gender and Women's Studies' ... how many gender and women's studies graduates do you know?! I know 1 and I went to a liberal school in SF.

Can ya'll stop with the gender studies clique? The only gender studies major I know is a trans lesbian. Young women are going into STEM more than gender studies.

It's socially taboo enough to not be a feminist and being an anti-feminist is both more aggressive than my blasé nature and a threat to my future employability.

I'm also a chick. I saw bad advice posted and I couldn't help but correct them. FDS gives a lot of half truths and deeply misleading advice. It's hard to watch.

I wouldn't consider 1 year - life sentences a slap on the wrist. 1 month ago, a man rapes 14 year old and spends 0 hours in prison. Would you consider this a slap on the wrist?

It would be more relevant for the #himtoo movement to create resources for men to rehab from false accusations than to lament that women 'get a slap on the wrist' since the statistics/facts do not justify such loud, incessant lamenting and there is much, much more need for post-false accusation support than pre-suspected false accusation attention.

"Never going to happen" eludes to the context of time that is beyond the past and present. In order to measure the likelihood of something 'happening' in the future, you must look at how the environment has changed in recent times. Firstly, research has indicated false rape accusations are much less common than stereotyped ideas. That being said, it is much more common in 2019 to hear a woman receiving capital punishment for false accusations than any time in human history. Considering the stati…
