This is some good stuff here. You’re getting to the core of maturity, masculinity, and adulthood, which is great. Oh man, this is probably some of the most solid advice I’ve seen on here. Curious to know where you got a lot of this information? I’ve studied a lot of attachment theory and object relationship theory, and it’s absolutely crazy how much parents influence the needs and attachments of both men and women. FACT. ALL OF IT. Your post reminds me of this essay by Henry Rollins, "Iron and The Soul". It's a great read.
