I think you should reread my first post. It was obviously an offhand remark and not the bulk of my post. That being said it's happened on several occasions and I don't think it's a coincidence. Gender bias IS everywhere, we are just so used to it that we don't notice it

Men aren't better than women and women aren't better than men. Your whole point was to nitpick about the salad thing?

The salad thing was something I tagged on at the end and was obviously not a crux of my argument. Go read my initial post again. "You're a fat mother fucked who deserves to die" "That made me sad" "You're responsible for the way you feel" it's not denying women agency when we say that people can be made to feel a certain way No I'm not am activist all I do is try to live my life treating the people I meet the way I think they should be treated and I'm always learning. My point is the …

Of course the salad thing is trivial compared to the Syrian Civil War or something but you're making a false dichotomy in that if I care about this small symptom of Patriarchy I therefore don't care about other problems. It just doesn't work like that. The salad thing reflects how women are expected to look and eat and we all know that eating disorders like bulemia and anorexia are far too common amongst women and the salad thing is related to that pressure women feel (and men, but to a lesser e…

What's ymmv? I know you didn't make that point but I figured the conversation was headed that direction (maybe not?) I think the salad thing is a really nuanced small aspect of the way we see gender. It's little hut it does say a lot. Women have it particularly harder than men when it comes to physical appearance. Women are "supposed" to eat salad because they're delicate, or supposed to be thin, should be watching their figure, etc. This pressure is not put on men in a proportional way.

I'm male There are differences - hormones etc. The differences between men and women do not dictate their value. Men are generally stronger. Women can lactate. There isn't a useful way of saying which of those makes one gender better or worse. What I do know is that man or woman, we are people first and deserve to be treated that way

What? The servers probably aren't TRP, my point is that it usually happens and is an example of perpetuation of gender roles in every day life

Maybe she gets the salad because people think men don't eat salads but women do. I can't get over TRP mental gymnastics

Where in western society is it beaten into us that women are better?

I can't get over that TRP seems to think the idea that women > men is pervasive. Where are you all living? I live in California and see every day how people see men as more competent than women and how more freedoms and less judgment is passed upon men. For Christ's sake every time I order a salad the server still brings it to my girlfriend by default

You are really not being a good brother to your sister right now. If you're worried that she's engaging in risky behavior, that's one thing. But she doesn't lose value because she's had sex with people. "Slut shaming" is not okay.

Yeah, go hang out with your buddies and don't invite women. Please tell me of a time in your life when you were forced to include women in your hang outs, you poor poor soul

You're so far up your own ass I really have no idea where to begin. The reason you think that women have high standards is because they won't pick you. The real reason they don't want to be with you is because of the vile, disgusting way you think of other people.

"Given that the modern woman doesn't fit in to patriarchy...women hold the cards when it comes to sex" Uh. No. An independent woman doesn't hold the cards to sex any more than a man does. It entirely depends on the relationship. I know women who have far more libido than their partners and so, sex is generally decided by the person with less libido. I am sickened by how you view women. Absolutely sickened. Do you know why men get shit? Because of attitudes like this. You make us look bad. There …

My feminist dogma? I believe that all people can have sex with as many consenting adults as they choose. Who they have sex with and how often does not do anything to diminish or add to their value as a person. Period. It's called equality and respect. Am I a feminist? If that means that I believe men and women deserve to be treated as equals, than yes, call me a feminist, or am egalitarian. I don't really care what you call it.

Her honor? What are you even talking about? Are you telling me that a woman loses honor when she has sex with a man but a man doesn't? Honor is a concept that is decided by a society. Honor in Japan is different than honor in america. For some people, honor doesn't exist. You'd fit in great in 3rd century England.

I wasn't officially red pill but my older brothers fed me the bs that if you ignore women and seem uninterested etc girls will be in to you. I had friends who had personalities like this and girls were attracted to how mysterious they were. That's great, it worked for them. But I an a really social guy and it just came off as awkward and rude and I ended up alienating a lot of women. How did I end up in a happy relationship? By being myself and being confident. Yes I'm nice and women find me att…

I haven't really ventured too far into reddit but I've got to say I've been really shocked and distressed by the things I read when exploring red pill, as a male. As someone who has many women in his life that he cares about it troubles me greatly that there are folks treating half of humanity this way because they think it will get them laid (maybe it will because some people are attracted to that attitude). Of course a sub for pedophiles is more alarming (if it still exists?) But TRP is promot…

Plenty of women mind men who sleep around. Plenty of women don't. Many men don't care if a woman sleeps around either. If a woman has slept around, I wouldn't care as long as she's clean.

Why do you see it as men having their way with her? Sex is a two way street. She could have very well sought out men to have sex with and then chose you last. Then you blame alphas for having their way sith her when it's really a cover for the fact that a girl just didn't choose you.

Well, why don't you want to be submissive to someone else (against your will?), clean the bathroom and kitchen for the rest of your life instead of probably pursuing something you're interested? You do know women are people, right?

No. This isn't something all men love. I'm a guy, I remember running track and a rather unattractive girl stopping me and telling me I looked really hot. I was uncomfortable and did not enjoy it at all. Men and women are notas different as you think

Scores of bad boys banging sluts left and right? Dude you really have no idea. People are attracted to each other for all kinds of readons. Of course being physically attractive is important. Look, if you're really physically attractive, male or female, you'll probably get laid by somebody as long as you're not a complete social doofus. Girls don't hate nice guys, they aren't attracted (generally) to the lack of confidence that a lot of "nice" guys exhibit. Then, they blame their lack of success…

They reflect to me how much TRPers seem to overanalyze tiny events. I read these field reports about guys who didn't make their wife cum because she was being pissy earlier. Like, just fucking talk to your wife about what's wrong and fix it.

Are you kidding? If you treat a woman like a prop, there's a big chance she isn't into that and you end up forcing unwanted sexual behavior onto her. You actually think that the entire female gender is attracted to the same thing? Really? Are all men attracted to the exact same thing - of course not.

Tldr; OP gives an anecdotal example of a woman being short sighted. Supported by anecdote from top commenter. Conclusion: 50% of the human race is relatively incapable of thinking ahead.
