An accusation should be taken into account, however if there is no proof the 'defendant' should never even be charged/arrested. As that's when the police publish the name in order to fish for witnesses and any other victims. I feel as if some of these cases are so the police can look proactive. However once the name is released that person is guilty as far as social media is concerned.

Not read the bill but I think this is a very important piece of law. Which, if done right will role out in other parts as well. Not sure how legal cases are handled tbh. But civils the losing side pays the winners costs. Criminal courts I'd imagine you pay for your own lawyer? Still it's pretty awful isn't it.
