I’m happy that I have never known a single woman who acts like this. It’s embarrassing. He did the right thing by walking away. If he was an asshole as well, it could have turned into something much worse.

I think there are very few feminists out there who view mens abuse by partners, or by such, as more decent. But it seems that some do believe it’s a noble or brave thing. Just like any volatile person, there’s so much insecurity in here. This is definitely a harder topic to discuss, as far as mens rights after conception. Hopefully, in a healthy relationship, those options can be discussed and brought to a mutual agreement, just to avoid any discrepancies in, before and after, conception planning. I agree, politics seem suspiciously rooted in religion, weird! hahaha. I wish it was different, but we always come back to religion, specifically when it comes to abortion or birth control. That’s a good point. I know that there was a spike in factory work amongst women in the first two world wars, but as soon as the men came back from war, many of them lost that work. Some labor jobs do seem a bit more male dominated. Especially in factories, mines, and construction. I’m sure we could sit and trace back what occupation became available to women early on during the first wave of feminism. I understand that anger towards radical beliefs. It’s so black and white and that’s just not how it is really. Political beliefs can be very nuanced. I hope that this brings consolation, but most feminists do not hold the belief that men are less, or should be less. I think most feminists just want more sufficient paid maternity leave and the right to an abortion without persecution. Genital mutilation is horrific. We need to normalize mens natural bodies. I personally have not seen to many women push for circumcision, but I don’t doubt that it happens, just because of antiquated beliefs about cleanliness. Ooo this is a great topic! Women actually are not statistically paid less than men. Pay disparity among men and women is present because women are actually just less available for work. Sometimes prejudice is present, but mostly people are paid fairly among genders. Pay disparity among men and women is a direct result of our ubiquitous existence wiith unpaid care work; childcare more specifically.

I am definitely seeing a pattern here, like a “it’s not what it used to be”. I can actually agree on this. Unfortunate for any radical political or moral beliefs, it always comes with anger and vengeance, nothing will ever change if we’re all screaming hate in one another’s face.
