Yes, that's true. A privilege is not defined by race or gender. As a brown guy, a majority in my country and from an upper-middle class family, I'm sure I will be privileged than a lot of poor white men in the first world country. Edit: I'm not trying to show off or anything, just trying to say that there's a lot more to privilege than just race and gender.

I think just acknowledging that they exist and not making a competition of who has it worst is a great start. If you see discrimination against a man, speak out. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen with women too, it does. But like I said, it's not a competition. And just treat men like humans. It's just my opinion but instead of targeting people, target social media where they post this kind of thing. When they don't have a platform to say these things openly, they wouldn't say it. A lot of people find it easier to say something online than in real life. People don't change.

I'm glad it worked out for you. And yeah, I was naive haha. It was my first relationship and I was trying to make everything perfect. About the last point, I'm used to it now. I keep things t myself than sharing. I know it's harmful. Because of this, it affected my future relationships too.
