Sure, I'll bite. Condoms protect both partners from STDs, but STDs have nothing to do with childbirth (your argument was about birth control, remember?), so I guess you fell short of the mark again. Nah, actually that's just you being pedantic. By your so-called logic, birth control pills are also for both men and women. Condoms are for men. Pills, spirals and the like are for women. I didn't really think…what was it? Oh yeah – that would need an explanation.

Someone I spoke to months ago said that they reckoned there'd be an assassination attempt before he even got into office, as he wasn't enough in the pocket of all the big donators etc and thus too much of a dark horse/wild card. Obviously neither of those things happened (assassination or donations) but it was almost the opposite viewpoint to what you've just said. I wish I'd have known about that JFK stuff back then to counter his point.

That sucks. Things that happen in childhood rarely make logical sense but are still sometimes really powerful. My mum used to talk mad shit about my dad, and it took me until I was nearly 30 to realise that I didn't actually hate him, it was all the comments my mum had made that skewed my perception of him. That's nothing like as heavy as your story but results from the same/a similar effect, I think.

Uh…planned parenthood give out bags full up with condoms and single-use lube packets for free. You just go in, ask for one, and fill out a quick little anonymous form to help them with their statistics and whatnot. At least, this is exactly how it functioned when I lived in California a few years ago. I've since left the country again so I don't know if maybe things have changed for the worse.

I think that "queer" is used in the gay community in a similar manner as "nigga" is used in the black community, originally as a way to take the power out of the word so it can't be used as an insult anymore. I don't know if that's why it's included in the lgbt+ acronym though, it might be what they other poster said instead.

Eh, I think it's relatively common to keep the upper lip trimmed shorter than the rest of the beard. Maybe not shaved down to stubble, but it's still a good idea to prevent it from getting long enough to curl into your mouth.
