There is a proper seduction and pua forum for this type of thing.

Dont let what that guy posted be too confusing. The red pill is just knowledge. MGTOW and PUAs only have red pill knowledge in common. We just take it in different directions.

Im not a huge supporter of sports. I follow the packers and an italian football team. Nothing in the world has inherent meaning or purpose. It is all absurd. As long as you understand this, you are free to face and engage the absurd however you like, with the understanding that it is ephemeral. Go out there and engage things that light up your pleasure centers. Go be a foorball or hockey fanatical madman! It doesnt mean any less than anything else. The only rule is to not physically harm others(…

I recommend reading "in praise of idleness," an essay by Bertrand Russell. He is not so much against this idea of indulging and buying and going to movies etc, but proposes that we need to be better educated so we can appropriate our leisure time in ways that make us truly happy. The essay is an argument for four hour work days, but hints at what you're saying here. We have lost our way. We are tired after work and consume instead of building society and ourselves. It's an interesting read.

Is what mostly about financial freedom? Life? Happiness? Im not sure what you're trying to say here. Financial freedom and health are the factors that allow you to utilize time the way you want. Time is the only wealth you truly have. Your quality of life is immediately impacted by your ability to satisfy these two factors.

Nature doesn't intend. The courting and selection process is exhibited throughout all male/female relationships in nature for very good reasons as far as I am aware. The world doesn't owe you anything. You don't really state your dilemma. This forum is for men going their own way (and those that want to). My suggestion to you is to forget about everything you posted (because it is generally wrong) and start focusing on your health, wealth, and happiness. Start with the things you can control. I …

I agree with you. In my simplistic overview, I tried to avoid that confusion altogether by providing a broader view of what red pill means. As you know, it's more encompassing than human relationships, and it's a shame the hardcore PUA community planted itself there. I also agree there are two distinct versions of PUAs on reddit. I'm sure there are other smaller groups as well.

This is dumb. Maybe she got the idea you wanted to be friends when you call her to see what's up when you're bored. This post has nothing to do with MGTOW. Edit to make my post more valuable: Stop thinking people owe you anything and start actually going your own way. A good start may be asking yourself how you can spend your time better so you do constructive things when bored....for fucks sake you get maybe eight decades and then nothing forever, how are you possibly bored. Do something better…

Hey dickhead, i agree with you and every time I see a thread in which the main point has more to do with women than men going their own way I get the urge to write something similar to what you have. It's silly to think someone can be mgtow and have a girlfriend or wife or something complicated. The conditions that lead to mgtow and the reaction to those conditions should remain separate from mgtow. Too often these conditions and reactions are lumped together under the label of mgtow. No, these …

Disgusting? More like, good for business. Women make up a rather large share of total goods consumed. Whatever puts more dollars in materialistic women's hands, all the better for my business. Also, you seem to be in the "hate things" stage. I recommend alter the way you think. You'll find things fall to your favor more often if you assume that everyone is out to do good by you.

Your efforts will be better spent picking one topic and beating the shit out of it, rather than asking anyone to sit through that jumbled mess. Your statement didnt say anything new, the body was a seemingly endless diatribe, and conclusion didnt really seem to conclude anything. I'm not even sure how blue pill is equated to cancer as the title states.

Im 30. A lot of people spend a lot of time trying to fit in, or to specifically not fit in. Always remember that MGTOW means to go your own way. It's descriptive, not prescriptive. It is the way you are living your life, does not tell you how to live your life. There are an incredible number of paths for you to take in life, truly limitless variety. If you're like I was, it will seem overwhelming. You shouldnt worry so much about choosing the wrong thing that you end up squandering time deciding…

Yes. This is a poorly worded question. If the answer can be a simple yes or no, the question should be edited to provide some direction for the responders. Virtual worlds, to some people, are more interesting than travel. Some people will be more enticed by virtual worlds for too many reasons to list, and they may be turned off by many aspects of travel.

The "interview process" would bring too much risk into my life. Risk of which I cant be bothered. Risk with very little chance for reward. I can live without the companionship as life is short enough. And the sex...well that's easy enough to deal with as is. WRONG. This is actually a rational comment by your ex-girlfriend and it can tell you a lot about human nature. I assume most if not all of us want to live authentic lives which includes authentic interactions with other people. If these interactions don't live up to you expectations then you get disappointed. Some people attribute such high (and often unrealistic) expectations to some interactions that it affects them emotionally if they go unexpectedly. If the person doesn't have sufficient emo…

For different reasons, i agree with the OP's titled message. I have always hoped this sub would turn into endgame mgtow. Lately, I consider too much of it pre-mgtow stuff that I always imagined belonged in the red pill. Important things to know and learn from, just dont think a lot of it belongs here. Where do the endgamers go damnit? I just want cool stories of people doing cool shit and how they made it happen through hard work, discipline, and fun.

Quite honestly, ive been telling people to not be bothered too much by motivation. It's fleeting and unsustainable, and you'll end up disappointed. Instead pick a goal or few and be absolutely, relentlessly disciplined in your pursuit of them. You'll see better results. Just. fucking do. it. Every. Day. Then one day it will click, progress is your fuel, and motivation is tied to this bedrock foundation you have built for yourself out of blood sweat and tears. Then you realize the only problem yo…

I disagree (edit: on second thought I agree with you that fools deserve each other, but maybe people should be given the opportunity to see and learn from their mistakes before being labelled a fool), but completely understand what you're saying. Coincidentally, not ironically. Also, disregarding the accuracy of the study, I don't find it to be completely useless. If anything, the hidden message to unmarried men is "don't get married," but I would bet a lot of money that it was intended to get couples to try to work out their problems.

Your brother acts like a woman. Just agree and amplify. Don't take him seriously, there are worse things in the world than being/looking different in the eyes of other people. They're mainly concerned with themselves anyway.

Just remember, no matter how everything turns out, you are ultimately in control of how your life plays out. You control your actions and reactions. Imagine yourself ten years from now, twenty years from now, enjoying the fruits of your labor. Do you want to say you achieved what you used to only dream, or do you want to wallow in self pity knowing you let those years go by living on someone else's terms? You get eight decades if you are lucky, then nothing....ever....again. Fuck others' opinion…

Pretty difficult considering the only reason we exist is due to the many forces of nature that propogated these feelings. You're probably better off learning how to manage it, putting that energy to better use helping you achieve things. Utilize those feelings as a trigger for doing other things.

Well sure, your reasoning is sound in that +50k = more money. However, think of all the time you would be spending finding someone, courting someone, calibrating goals with someone, gaging whether or not they will follow through with your agreements and goals and not change so much, not to mention the possibility of having to care for another set of relatives, attend events, host guests, more grocery planning, housework, catering to social needs. First thing is to realize that if you feel paralyzed over a breakup, you're not ready to indulge in someone elses life for the forseeable future. At this time it's best to think of your breakup as the best thing that could possibly have happened, because now you have been given the time to figure yourself out, what you want out of life, the things you want to explore. You have limited time here and to make the best of it you should probably take an inventory on where you stand...philosophically,…

Thanks for taking the time to respond with this, I'm glad you provided the insight. I have but a surface understanding of nineteenth century literature, but a great love of reading. That being said, I did not read your quoted material, because I have that novel on my bookshelf to be read and do not wish to spoil it. I agree. Myth of Sisyphus helped me adjust perspective when I read it last year. At the time I had already concluded everything we do is bullshit, but this novel provided me with an interesting way to cope with it...and even made me interested in partaking in bullshit of my own just for the hell of it. Feels good facing said bullshit, knowing it for what it is, and not feeling like I'm being schmuck for doing it because I know exactly what's going on...which is to say I know nothing of what is g…

I'm on the second week of no contact with someone that I was starting to develop oneitis for. I felt similar to you for the first week and a half, but just yesterday I started revisiting my goals hard again and I'm happy. You have to have a goal you're pursuing that is stronger than a whim. I get oneitis fairly often as I don't keep several plates, I usually just let people approach me and then I get addicted to the validation of the type I don't get anywhere else. I agree and commented somewhere else that going out with specific goal in mind puts you behind to start, because it enables an easy slide into outcome dependence. However, setting specific controllable goals (that don't require feedback from an unpredictable variable such as women) are okay, such as setting goals to alleviate approach anxiety and really anything you can completely control all the variables to accomplish it.
/r/askTRP10/10/14 08:26 PM

As an aside, I have nothing against goals. Goals we set for ourselves are necessary for improvement and stability. However, when a goal contains such a huge variable (such as a wildly variable woman) that you can't control (and I wouldn't want to because they can be tons of fun), sometimes having that goal in your bank of goals is going to be counterproductive and inefficient, sapping your energy and taking time away from all of your other goals that are much more controllable. That's why I don'…

What exactly is wrong with the idea of sifting through women until you find one that is acceptable to you? Nothing. Do you not do that when you go out and day game? I sure do. I don't run out there and use pick up on literally any girl I see. I'm not about that fatty girl life. I do gravitate towards women that interest me, however, I do not go into it with an endgame in mind. I approach as to have fun and learn. If I'm not having fun or learning, I eject. Reads like you're not escalating at all. Get the idea of "marriage material" out of your head, because even if that is your goal, thinking about people in terms like that already hinders your chance at a successful relationship. The physical aspect of any relationship, even that of you and your buddies(pushing, punching, etc), is important. I suggest not shunning physical relations for the sake of an ideology if what you're looking for is a healthy, intimate relationship. Even if you don't want …

What's more important to you: a. The money, benefits, and personal advancement you get from your job. OR b. Being involved in a hookup/relationship that can be had anywhere else. I don't think the risk of having a relationship at the place of my employment is worth the reward. There are too many variables that are beyond my control that lead to a hookup/relationship not ending well.

The best way that I've found dealing with oneitis is completely internalizing the idea that your oneitis will completely annihilate your chances to be happy with this person. She won't be happy, you won't be happy, and she will not see all of you for what you are while you have oneitis because it affects even the smallest of things about you that you cannot see yourself. She's not perfect, you'd realize this after six months with her. Yes, spending time on her will take away from you being in th…

I'm somewhat new to this, so weigh this against the more learned advice here: I assume this is the point where you don't "talk to her about this" and let her hamster run wild with a simple "ok" response. If she actually wants you but is playing games, she will contact you again, just keep setting up meetups and continue to fool around in bed. If she found somewhere else to have her fun, she won't contact you, or will, but won't hang out. If she thinks things are going too fast but still wants yo…

I agree with above. The reason to not improve for the sake of other people, as I've come to learn it over and over again from experience, is that if things don't work out the way you want them to, you'll look back and see a lot of wasted time. Instead, if you focus on making the improvements you want to make for yourself, you'll never be dissatisfied with the way you spend your time (all the while raising your smv). I was in a 5 year relationship with my oneitis and had to break it off for the same reason....at the time. Over the last two years I've come to realize that it was never her holding me back, it was me not doing the things I wanted to do. I wasn't taking control of my life and let my fear of losing her guide my decisions. My advice is that time is a very good healer. It's been a while since I've read her epistemological work. I just recall coming away disappointed with her treatment of the senses, or maybe lack thereof (I don't recall, I moved on). You're right, I was referring to taking issue with a few premises and conclusions not her near immaculate ability to form valid arguments.

That's a very generous statement. I find a lot of what she says about the physical nature of things falls flat, but I think she has lots of useful things to say regarding love, work, and ethics, if only to make you think of them in a different way than you've taken in from your environment.
