Really great comment! I ‘gave up’ for a while but used that time to level up until I unintentionally was able to do better without trying all that hard. The other side of that is if I hadn’t been RP then that may have led to a place I would regret. Ultimately in hindsight I wish I had cashed out for a while then come back in with fresh eyes. Rinse and repeat until I have the level of success I wanted. With that said the time spent isolating to level up was pretty worth it in its own way too.

When people comment on the state of dating it’s often from the perspective of a single person well into their adult years. Just to toss a number out I’ll say 30 yo. Along the lines of what you said I would see more value having studies and focus put more on this group rather than one that takes into account established relationships which are largely irrelevant because those times have come and gone already. It’s not about what should be but rather than what the reality currently is. What are me…

This is great feedback which I agree with. I feel people who climbed up the ladder would take up the stance akin to ‘wouldn’t change anything’ or some other cope which completely disregards the impact of being a very attractive male in a time where the benefits for it can amount to quite a lot of joy and privilege.

I only saw that he seemed to keep the door from opening and slammed down on the top of the car. Very sus and not acceptable behavior. Then of course she does get out and attack him for extended period of time. I’m not saying two wrongs and all that but his actions leading up to that no longer seemed relevant when he retaliated. Wish he had pulled his punche to create minimal harm but once you escalate things yourself so can the other person. Rather have OPM than consecutive serious punches if sh…

W comment section both here and on the source video. I agree with others that she’s conflating ‘masculinity’ with things that benefit her directly. It could be described as courtesy or traditional but ‘masculine’ is just a way to name shame because clearly it’s derogatory and she would rather dodge having to explain why her preferences exist. After all, who would question wanting to avoid a feminine man? But putting out there that you 100% insist men pay starting from the first day? That might g…

I think it’s because of how so many of those circles often label themselves as against mainstream, alternative, or other title. Thinking of suicide girls, not like the other girl memes, it’s not just a phase, etc. Don’t blame someone for thinking it’s a niche but I agree it’s def not. Oh! Also you need to live in a large city (prolly blue) to really understand the number of nightclubs, bars, and other business that cater to that scene.

It’s often said that the average woman isn’t interested in the average man. This is meant from a first impressions standpoint which is indeed based on looks from both sexes. You don’t necessarily need good looks to make the relationship work but you do need to clear that hurdle to get into that place. Guys are ‘meh’ in terms of looks to women. We’re meant to attract them in other ways but SM and hookup culture unfortunately (to many) creates a distinct advantage to those who meet the looks crite…

Before this happened in the clip the question ‘what are the responsibilities or expectations of a man when in a relationship’. He didn’t just out of the blue demand to hear the other side of it. It’s meant to be a raw dialogue between dating dynamics where not only are men supposed to step up to discuss performance gaps but women as well. One thing I’ve learned is that discussing women’s own side of of potential issues is particularly sensitive to the point that even broaching the subject with a…

All good points that are generally often discussed in RP. One of the negative potential consequences for women is when they truly see themselves as being higher value to the men than she is that person will only be used for sex resulting in desperate love life 30+ yo. Alternatively when she sees having a high income as offsetting any sense of urgency to have a life partner and start a family or is very successful at it that the men who she can attract and earns more than her is teeny tiny. It’s …

Women, the great communicators, can be very indirect. It’s good that he set expectations and was willing to end the chase then and there after giving it a go. No point in becoming an orbiter because you took the non-rejection as confirmation that there is still a chance.

I do think OP may have made in error by not inserting something like 'get casual sex or enter into relationships quickly and easily'. It's not so much the casual sex (imo) but rather the ability to attract another woman the same or better in whatever metric the woman might consider herself competitive in. I know, I know. She'll be better without him so who cares? I'm simply stating that sometimes women are much happier knowing that they didn't 'settle' and this is one way of feeling secure in th…

This is evident by the number of first string replies that simply handwave away OP's premise with shame, insult, and guilt. Although in this particular threads I'm seeing a lot of Appeal to the Extremes. That doesn't happen in the same frequency when it's a woman's issue. Posts like that go unaddressed for lacking 'civility' but when it's issues like this with well layed out arguments it becomes 'well, let's not go that far with it until we know more' or 'sounds like a lot of complaining and you…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 09:58 AM
6

Does that play out anywhere in this thread or just what you are injecting? Literally OP's entire premise is that a man must have qualities attractive to women in general in order to maintain the interest of the person they are with and NOT that it is someone else's responsibility to see 'value' in him. If you're gonna disagree out of reflex at least understand what you are disagreeing with in good faith.

Lol. OP is doing the typical thing of assuming that men on average just naturally improve over time without putting any effort into the process. It’s a cope and hand waves away all the self improvement that is a constant focus for men in their 20’s and 30’s to be on track for success in their peak years in terms of income, confidence, and etc. if they don’t do these things then yeah they end up alone and sexless like many generations have had simply ignored by society in silence until passing aw…

I fully agree RP rage is a thing. I personally unsub and criticize places where they fixate too much on the faults of women rather than areas where men can get better. There’s a line to be drawn between what is healthy and beneficial and what is fixating on being a victim of the status quo.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 08:47 AM

This alone is an area that real ‘progress’ could be made.l in the greater sense. You literally can’t vent/express your lived frustration or findings without the looming threat of being dismissed over one of many loaded insults. Whenever I watch one of the RP ‘debates’ it’s a recurring joke when the BP person does the whole ‘who hurt you?’ routine as a delaying or tactic to compromise a well reasoned point (e.g let’s just move on or I respect your truth and you should respect mine).

I agree with you overall but you worded this very poorly for someone who doesn’t already know what you are getting at. One of the mistakes you can stop doing now is alllowing your comment to be interpreted as ‘all’. Obviously that’s not what you mean but people will fixate on that instead of addressing the greater point you raise overall. People will absolutely rely on nitpicks (exceptions) in order to avoid responding to the common experience (the rule). It’s hard material to cover in a single …

RP doesn’t pretend to have an answer for people like you. Basically, to the best of my understanding, the consensus is to just expect them to go left on you but always be a guy who can keep them on course when that happens or else you won’t be in a good relationship. Get lazy, unfit, etc and you won’t be ready for when they inevitably go left. I’ll take that over just doing the regular lovey dovey stuff for someone who only likes it when they are ready to settle for a beta bux. Instead you can g…

It was a tough read. I had to keep furrowing my brows until I was basically squinting. The hand wave explanation of 'This post is not for you' is confusing because by the end of it it hardly applies to anybody to be worth posting in a place like this. Starting off you have to be religious and presumably have that as a basis of your relationship or else you're just misrepresenting yourself to someone. You have to be exclusively concerned with who is a virgin, identify her in a group (do they wear…

Ikr. I felt like there was a bingo score card that I was supposed to be filling out as I read along. Putting to the side OP's poor framing of 'all guys' which some are hyper fixated on it's obvious that 99.99% of guys have an upper limit to how 'promiscuous' the girl was in the past. For instance, did she sleep with close friends of yours, groups of guys, known for several first date walk of shames, etc. So it's sort of nuts to not acknowledge that and claim there is nothing at all that could af…

I feel like that kind of advice could only be said in a sarcastic jokey sort of way and would be widely condemned in if it were actually ‘mainstream’. Using a comedian’s words to establish what is known and acknowledged is an odd play because they often times create material out of what can only be said when in a specific setting and level of control. People are there ready to be offended, shocked, and amused as opposed to think critically about culture or lifestyles. Any other setting and Chris…

Read the post in full and I was like ‘is this even a thing?’. You can completely tell a guy the truth about this and not get a ‘blaming the victim’ vibe, depending if the situation isn’t some severe situation. I wouldn’t necessarily feel as free saying that to or about a woman. Shouldn’t be that way but we have other gendered norms like never asking a woman her age for any reason while it’s fine to ask a guy ‘what age did you have your first kid?’.

OP. Are you in red pill rage mode 2.0? Or is this your first mgtow realizations that you are taking to heart. I ask this because based on the few details you shared you seem to have fallen for many of the 101 mistakes like conceding to shaming tactics and attempting to give value instead of trying to match it or receive more. One of the many reasons it is commonly advised to have several ‘plates spinning’ and to approach everyone friendly enough even if you are not interested in them romantically. They could know someone that might be right for you and it helps establish social proof. The same approach applies to job hunting and a variety of problems we face in life. It’s largely irrelevant whether the individual is different from the group since the exceptions aren’t what makes or break your success as long as you d…

I hope OP answers your question. I read the same things as you but interpreted ‘attractive’ to mean as a whole person and not just physical appearance. It didn’t even cross my mind how you read it. The key part for me was when he describes them as being nice but not attractive enough and didn’t ‘mind’ being around the person to a large extent which was a rare find. As if to say being with someone is an okay experience, nice, attractive, or instant long term plans.

I think your point may be sound but in the wrong place. Generally speaking men are much more forgiving of women’s weight than women are of men’s or other womens while we’re in the subject. This means it’s a moot point when and why we all got fat. Am I missing something? Women are single because they want to be and men are likely to be so. That’s a really simple survey that has been cosnitent throughout all modern society whether it fat or thin times.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/21 05:31 AM

At the risk of over simplifying/generalizing. Women are the pickers and choosers. The drawback is they have to compete within themselves for the best ones so the standards go higher and higher to be top chicken. At a certain point they each sacrifice so much to compete that they can take a break for a moment and just acknowledge within themselves how they no longer have to take certain types of potential men very seriously anymore. Not that a manlet can’t overcome his perceived disability, but i…

Unfortunately in this very thread are examples of people who care what difficulty others play on. There’s even strawman arguments about how some games don’t have an easy mode and extrapolate this casual hobby as somehow applicable to important facets of real life. Just advocating for an easy mode (which has zero impact on what others should play) leads to this much pushback. It’s proof positive that the same ones saying ‘who cares this doesn’t matter’ are also going ‘how dare she!’ and ‘this is …

When it comes to God everything good is a gift and everything bad or wrong in life is a gift in disguise. Everything that exists just absolutely proves that God is real and specifically their God.

What are you ranting about? You still can’t use it a direct reference in any academic institution that I’m aware of. You have to cite a legitimate source which wiki is not considered to be. Social media is not an academic institution. Just in case you weren’t aware. The workaround is to use the source that Wikipedia uses.

I don't think I see any comments here like you're describing. I'm out of the loop because the few threads I've read recently don't seem to have any brigading. Worst I've seen is a higher than normal incel-like lashing out at the world from the depth's of their pain and loneliness. Really not much different than normal.

Hate to see this happen to so many subs once they get a little big. Anything that fits the agenda or general outlook of the vibe gets upvoted so it stays. This has an insidious effect because it attracts people from more extreme subs leading to flanderization and other problems. With all that said, this sub, among others, sure as hell are taking the choice of model like a pineapple up the ass. It's also to add a veneer of having a personality or confidence. Ditto with duckfaces and frequently using the exact same pose. I’m very confused by this string of conversation. It sounds like the parent comment was just saying that the person in the post would likely accept anyone willing to pay for her expenses and others are taking that comment with indignity or potentially sarcastic. Because some people could consider her 'ruined' when she had the second kid and is now making the ad OP posted, as opposed to when she had her first kid 3 years ago and we don't know anything about how her life/relationship was back then. More than likely she committed to being a dumpster fire when she had the first kid, but that's conjecture hence 'imo'.

Where your analogy falls apart is that while no restaurant will choose her as a customer, there are undoubtedly several guys who message her in earnest. It’s a sad affair attempting to convince guys out of their poor choices and it’s not even worth it. Better to support them after they’ve been burnt since that’s the first true window of opportunity.

As a guy you really can’t vent about romantic difficulties because it sends you in a death spiral. You just come off as bitter, are asked ‘who hurt you?’, or simply come off as even more undesirable. Women on the other receive much more sympathetic treatment and it can even motivate a rush of potential partners to reach out...because there are always several options just none she’s ready to resort settling with at the moment. I’m not even upset or anything. It is what it is. What does get my goa…

Safe to assume all these ladies are below BSN level. It fits with the theme of hitting the wall and having to grind out a living instead of being a hostess, waitress, holding out for a sugar daddy/chad, etc. Not that there’s anything wrong with starting a career or deciding you’re content where you are at in the work totem pole.

I like your analogy. It’s like they start off pretty much rich. Able to afford most any car new off the lot but they don’t invest and interest stacks up. Now they’re frustrated because all the salesman seem to care about is overpricing their cars so her measly few hundreds and terrible credit prevents her from buying anything. Where are all the good dealerships?!!! Meanwhile all the younger girls starting off rich like her are excited about the next upgrade and take up all the dealership’s time.

That’s one way to interpret it. Rather supply is artificially lower than demand is another way to look at it. Women are the biggest shamers that there are and this is particularly true of other women. Too many ‘loose’ women endangers the pussy economy so they have to keep things from getting too easy for us to prevent losing leverage in society. As if it’s possible to define the characteristics of something being legitimate in a legal and tangible sense but not in several other meaningful ways. I think the best thing to deal with this is considering the most likely, average, and common result. I was joking. She cheats, she cheats. Not your fault she’s not loyal when you are. At the same time, the same fundamentals that attracts a female are what keeps her around. So it is something to be aware of if you’re getting cheated on in a committed relationship. Typically this happens to betas who substitute having a personality and being able to check the girl with lots of free attention and resources.

It's a whole different thing if you're the female in the equation. She gets a good check cut for her through the divorce and he gets to stop relying on someone who doesn't value him. Win-win.

It’s fine as long as you build up to it via wet sports. Once she proves she can be a good toilet then go out to a big dinner and stare at her while you’re chewing as foreplay. Order extra of something she doesn’t like.

I’m confused. I thought it was widely understood that the number system is inherently a subjective system and the number changes in response to the locations, situation, and whims of the decider. It is the opposite of a blanket statement such as ‘hot or not’. Hence why you hear a ‘los Angeles 8’ or ‘good enough for now’. No girl you are giving it to feels like 4 out of 10. In comparison to a ‘no other offers tonight’ situation even a 1 will go up some levels. If you start to click with a 2 on a …

Whoa. That’s a lot to take in at once. I agree focusing on the names isn’t best. I never really have except this one time since I find the controversy fascinating. With that said, most areas of interest can be explored through a handful of figures or groups quite well and is preferable to randomly picking sources. I’ve read a lot of stuff from fakers which sounds good and actually helps but later realize the authors don’t actually fully live life that way. What you’re saying rings true. It’s all…

I’m waiting to read a solid explanation of this as well. From what I’ve gathered though it’s because you should only get married if there is a clear and objective advantage for it. There’s simply no viable incentive for it other than the woman leaving which isn’t enough because it simply means you weren’t high value enough to sustain the relationship anyways. Shed just walk all over you once you said “i do” (exaggerating the point, obviously). Relationships change once you’re married and often t…

Ugh! This is one of those threads that will end up being used against the sub in the future as evidence it is full of pathetic incels who use unethical manipulation in crowdfunded way to improve their low self worth lives into tricking women into sad relationships. Easy answer is to develop an easy going and open personality, mind your style and looks, and have a lifestyle where you meet people naturally. Going to bars is one but nowhere as good as working at one. One is ‘natural’ (you are paid …

Cheese and rice. It’s not that you’re necessarily wrong but rather that you’re not all taking the full situation into account. He’s not ready to use the girl up sexually and dispose of her like that. The guy is on level three of the main quest and you’re talking about some optional side quest after you’ve beaten the game. Stuff like this is what ends up on subs that mock TRP.

That’s fine too! It’s not always about where you are now but overall progress. You could drop it now to focus on improving your health, looks, work, social life, work, school , hobbies, etc. You’ll meet new people and only lose a dead end relationship at worst. It frees you up to move up in other areas. Just don’t become complacent or lose faith in yourself to have the ability to morph into who you want to be. That would be worse than staying where you are now. However, you could also enjoy what…

It depends on why kind of person you think he is. If he’s at rock bottom then he would be open minded. Some people aren’t there and a bunch of online randos can’t possibly understand the complex nature of his romantic life, so he’ll get super defensive and offended that you dared air out his personal details. Sometimes I wonder if OP’s own SMV makes it convenient to keep the relationship status quo going as long as he doesn’t invest more into it. Possibly even systematically reducing interest until the break up becomes a non-factor to him. Well, guess you’ve made up your mind and you know everything there is to know. You know for instance that females can also prefer younger men, that consenting adults are allowed to make their own decisions, having a preference isn’t the basis for ‘predatory’ behavior, that attraction to someone of legal age shouldn’t be a legal matter (deviancy), and that shaming instead of discussing the points brought up is the only way to advance the convo. My experience learning about TRP has been the opposite of yours. A lot of it has to do with ‘frame’, dealing with shit tests, and learning to approach and deal with rejection. There is also lots of improving yourself (SMV) but that’s because it’s completely within your control to have a healthy and fit physique, some sense of style and hygiene, and essentially look the part. But not that it was the most important element to attraction.

My theory is that people who need to 'talk' about their feelings don't express them enough at the time they are created. I’m not quite sure why you are so scared of ‘falling back into TRP’. I’m confused and please play along with with my devil’s advocate unless you’re over it, which is understandable. Both analogies compare man to man instead of man to woman. What that means is that they have more in common and do not represent the sexual marketplace ‘equally’. If results were compared equally then that means each’s income and looks had the same value to each gender which is not something that research and my experience supports (no problem disagreeing right there). I’m honestly surprised this was connected to TRP at all. His insecurities for not being good enough are to blame. Apparently he isn’t attracted to his gf enough when he’s with her. I’ve never read the playbook go: 1. Get girlfriend 2. Create distance 3. Give other girls attention 4. Break up with gf 5. Reap dozens of 9’s and 10’s for the rest of your life. Something is actually wrong with OP and we shouldn’t be ignoring it or distracted from that fact.

Some of what you have outgrown isn’t really something I feel should be attributed to TRP specifically. For instance, the fact that males, especially younger, are little shits doesn’t mean that AWALT is necessarily not true. TRP AWALT is simply that women factor in things like their hypergamy into relationships and dating. It sounds like you’ve improved yourself …

You can’t fight reality. Why would the girl you want, want you? Lose weight, be stable, confident in yourself, and be someone you’re proud of. After things like that are settled your options will open up. Pretending you are good as you are will get you the same results. There aren’t enough artsy girls or whatever your ideal is to go around. Be brave, get out there, and most importantly be a better option.

Yes. However there is no criteria on who can rate what and when. I thumbs down/up things all the time based on whether I like the director, actors, etc. Maybe I’ve seen it on someone else’s account. She doesn't state specifically what her initiatives are for the 'window'. She speaks very broadly about doing more, so part of me is thinking she just likes to hear herself talk and stutter. I do hope the government does a study on equal pay since it will be harder to generalize and skew stats to one's own favor. Obviously I don't mean that attempts won't be made.

I’m not gonna get as demeaning as others here are going to get buy the clear answer is she’ll marry one of the many people starving for her attention. All of this will simply be written off as a period in her young life before meeting ‘husband of convenience’ and having the joys of her life (Aiden, Karen, and Nathan) entre her life. No harm, no foul.

We cannot and will not apologize for taking the welfare of children entrusted to us to keep safe and provide valuable education. We will be good stewards of the future and regret the rare occasion where genuine concern is unfounded in hopes it has and will continue to prevent real harm. Now give me money.

This thread is giving lots of people a chance to vent. Happy to see it. I love RP stuff because so much of it is unique, counter culture, and effective when integrated to one’s natural frame. I feel that people misinterpret the real benefit of it all though and so it becomes justification to say and do things that are not right. The majority of advice I stumble into is stuff about if one girl says no then you move on. It’s a numbers game. Adjust your strategy as you go. Don’t invest a ton early …

As long as you aren't guilty of anything you are being accused of then you will be just fine. No, not really. Expeditiously start a dialogue and grievance against what you have learned. Document, report, follow up, ????, profit. Don't be those guys who is too passive then gets bit when the authority at leather wants to settle the matter.

I'm in my 30's and regularly encounter people who have been through divorces and either unhappy or failed relationship yet we can relate. They expect that i'm where they are and I have to explain that I am not but I was warned in advance and that's why we have a similar understanding as him, while avoiding the horrible financial losses, among other drawbacks of being in a serious relationship before 30. 'We' are a minority in the world and have to accept what that means when marriage, children, …

You're right, but the key point that seems to be getting overlooked is that generally speaking, society tolerates self-gaslighting and other undesirable behavior from women in a way that they do not from men. Hence why he rights that it is so reinforced in the average female's mind more than a male's. Women have the benefit of crying in the open, shouting, and doing other things which cause others to take a step back, lower their voice, and switch to appeasement mode. Let a guy do that and every…

It could potentially cause women to fear reporting abuse and all the focus needs to be on stopping men from taking advantage of their patriarchal positions of power. Basically the 'There's children starving in Africa' type of mentality where you can't create safeguards or systems that benefit a group unless it's the most oppressed or disadvantaged, even when it produces little or not net good for that group. How does me not tossing some food that I'm too full to eat help starving children? How d…

I think you are right. You have to word things just right though when talking to an adversarial crowd. They'll interpret things any way they want and it will be taken as 100% you being in the wrong either way.

Lots of good advice around here. I say you tell him, show him, and then stay out of it. You can then see if you still want to be a good friend to him from there. Not everyone will see the situation for what it is even when it is obvious. You under no obligation to suffer even more than him over this. Just learn from this lesson and help when you can without it affecting your mood or goals.

Like others are saying, this doesn't have to become a fork in the road but you are right to view this as a possible increase in the risk factor of being with her. Bring it up like a normal person and react accordingly from there. She might be trying to force a commitment issue convo which is when you can be Frank by saying what you want out of your time together and it's something she can take her time deciding on. She might come around to not being a weirdo that deletes your app or she may reve…

Sounds like she wants drama. If you're getting along with the first girl and her bf situation, then just continue on. If she escalates then reveal the incremental bad behavior of the friend to the 6.5. You two will have to figure out how to proceed from there. Lastly, you could also just try to bang both.
