Wanted to join when I was younger, but decided not to for many reasons. If you're serious, take a deep look into the situations the military is put into, in which countries, and what the purpose of those missions are. If you agree with them, I say go for it. Personally, I liked the idea of defending my country, but I couldn't see how our intervention into many situations around the world made sense.

Honestly, it's hard to explain these experiences with words. I was raised Catholic and rejected it completely because I was basically forced into it. The experiences I have had with these substances opened up the possibility of a higher being/creator. I would consider myself agnostic as of right now with plenty of room for spiritual development and further realizations in the future.
