4	Where is my promised male privilege? People who are getting married are waiting later into life too, so most of them have a better idea of whether or not their partner is good marriage material. This is a generous explanation. People are getting married later because they want to "live life" before "settling down" (i.e., being too young to marry at 25). 1	Watching Michelle Obama's speech to men made me realise that no other minorities besides women truly matter to Democrats. (and possibly everyone else) We have spoken up. There are no incentives for them to listen, we have no recourse as we have nowhere else to place our votes and they know it. Every statement you've listed is proof of there being no consequences to denigrating men. Most of us are millennials and below so, as men, we've all grown up with the idea of women being better and smarter than us. Men are being shunned by the cultural left and the idea that the ideal man is one who has shunned heteronormative masculinity and is overly deferential to women to his detriment is being reified in both policy and practice.
