The way I see it, labeling women with numbers only serves as a way to compare and compete with others. Just Have fun with everyone, and sleep with the ones you're attracted to. You don't need anyone else's approval.

I actually agree 100% with you on this because attraction is not just about the physical. It's just that the context I ALWAYS see this being used in is one where the poster is insinuating that the only reason something worked for a guy is because he was physically attractive... and it's being posted as a snarky joke. Not constructive or informative at all.

I'd like to nominate that the following post gets immediately removed as well... be attractive don't be unattractive This shit promotes the same horrible mentality that we're trying to combat here. When these kind of stupid posts get tons of up votes it triggers a huge circle jerk from outsiders and newcomers that distracts from any constructive posts. I think it also confuses some newbies that can't tell yet who has any idea what they're talking about.

I'm at the same point and I've found online dating to be a goldmine. If you don't live in a big city then the typical 'hanging out in coffee shops' and 'stop people on the street/bus stops' is useless. There's tons of girls who are recent college grads online dating because they just went from having unlimited choices on campus to being stuck in the office with 40 year olds. I would disagree. I have had a lot of success with online dating and I've had a few times where I ended up getting dates with attractive girls who messaged me first after reading something they liked about me in my profile. Talk about your cool hobbies, some girls might be into the same thing and that's your in. I do agree that you should keep it short, but you need to have enough interesting stuff in there that they have something to say to you when they message.
